Chapter 331 - 330: You Thought I Would Say That?

Chapter 331 - 330: You Thought I Would Say That?

Mr. Sinclair paused for a moment after setting down his chopsticks and turned his head to look at Ethan.

Ethan immediately, like a little sycophant, pulled out a napkin and offered it up, holding his face in an adorable way and asked, "Uncle, can you teach me how to eat?"

"Mm-hmm, Uncle, we all want to learn." The other kids were a bit afraid of Mr. Sinclair at first, but seeing Ethan pull on his clothes without getting scolded, they all mustered up the courage and gathered around.

"Hey, you guys, focus on writing properly, don’t bother Mr. Sinclair." Aunt Sienna went over to call the kids away.

Damian Sinclair said, "It’s fine."

The kids, hearing him say that, all looked at him expectantly.

Damian Sinclair looked at them, "You all want to learn table manners?"

"Mm-hmm." All the kids nodded earnestly.

"Alright, I’ll find a professional etiquette teacher for you. She’ll come every week to teach you three lessons," Damian Sinclair said. "But I want to clarify beforehand, learning etiquette isn’t as fun as you think. It can be quite boring and tedious. Do you really want to?"

"We’re ready!" Ethan patted his small chest and said, "We want to be just like Uncle."

Even though the kids didn’t understand much, they had an instinctive intuition. At least for now, out of everyone they’d met, Damian Sinclair had the strongest presence.

The boys thought it was cool, and the girls thought it was handsome, so they naturally wanted to imitate him.

"Alright, the etiquette teacher will come tomorrow to start classes," Damian Sinclair said. "If you don’t learn well, you’ll never see Bella again."

"Ah?!" The kids opened their mouths wide in surprise.

They loved Bella the most, so to be able to see her, they’d definitely study hard.

The kids held each other’s hands, encouraging one another.

Bella Acker felt a bit speechless; what did this have to do with her, and why was she being dragged into it?

Aunt Sienna, however, felt a tad embarrassed, "Mr. Sinclair, it’s not necessary, it would trouble you too much." She said, sneaking a glance at Bella Acker.

Mr. Sinclair had already sent over so many gifts today, and they didn’t even know how to properly thank him, let alone trouble him to hire a teacher for the kids.

Moreover, one could easily imagine how expensive an etiquette teacher would be.

Although they were poor and times were difficult, they needed to have ambition and couldn’t take someone’s kindness for granted.

Bella Acker understood Aunt Sienna’s thoughts and said, "Damian, Ethan and the others are still too young to understand these things. We can get them a teacher when the time is right in the future. It’s about time, you should take your medicine and go rest."

"You’re kicking me out?" Damian Sinclair frowned at her.

"What else?" Bella Acker glanced at him sideways, "Mr. Sinclair, have you forgotten? We don’t have any sort of relationship now, so is it appropriate for you to stay?"

Damian Sinclair was left speechless by her retort.

He was the one who suggested the breakup, and even though the misunderstanding had been cleared up now, if she wasn’t willing to forgive him, he couldn’t say anything.

Damian Sinclair stood up, "Ms. Acker, thank you for breakfast. I’ll go now."

Bella Acker was taken aback by his words, as it wasn’t like him to be so agreeable.

She hadn’t even processed what happened when her wrist was suddenly grabbed, and Damian Sinclair said in a deep voice, "Did you really think I would say that? Not a chance! Since you don’t want to forgive me right now, I’ll wait until you do!"

There we go, that was more like something Damian Sinclair would say.
