Chapter 324 - 323: Good Looks Have Their Perks

Chapter 324 - 323: Good Looks Have Their Perks

Even though Bella Acker was working, she still secretly paid attention to what was happening over here.

When she noticed Damian Sinclair looking her way, her heart began to thump rapidly, and even her cheeks started to flush slightly.

Afraid that Damian might have noticed something unusual, she pretended to focus seriously on her work.

However, she couldn’t help but wonder if Damian wanted to say something to her, or if Aunt Sienna said something that upset him.

She let her thoughts run wild, couldn’t resist sneaking another glance at Damian Sinclair out of the corner of her eye, only to find he was no longer there.

Had he left?

Bella Acker immediately stood up and turned toward the doorway to look.

Damian Sinclair hadn’t left; he was actually pouring detergent into the basin filled with water and skillfully stirring it with his hand.

The white foam gradually increased, catching the sunlight and occasionally reflecting a rainbow of colors.

Being handsome has its perks; even rolling up his sleeves and squatting there stirring detergent had an extraordinary charm.

Bella Acker watched with admiration, her eyes full of undeniable affection.

Damian Sinclair kept pouring detergent and stirring, and after pouring in more than half a package, he finally stopped, frowning at the basin overflowing with foam.

Did he use too much detergent?

He frowned at it for a moment, placed the remaining half bag of detergent aside, picked up a child’s undershirt, and began to rub it.

"Crack!" A crisp ripping sound came from the foam-filled washing basin.

Damian Sinclair picked up the shirt, brushed away the detergent bubbles and discovered that his rubbing had torn the shirt.

Why was it so fragile? Damian furrowed his brow.

"Ah! Bella, uncle tore Ethan’s shirt!" Suddenly, a child’s voice shouted beside him.

Bella Acker was startled and quickly came over.

Damian Sinclair held the shirt with a tear and looked up at her; his expression betrayed no emotion.

"Uh..." Bella Acker’s mind raced, and suddenly, a thought flashed through her mind, "Damian, um... you don’t need to blame yourself. Ethan’s undershirt already had many small holes; it would rip easily with a gentle pull. It’s not your fault, don’t worry about it."

Damian Sinclair silently looked at her, then at Ethan beside her, wiped his hands dry and took out his phone to make a call.

Bella Acker and Ethan exchanged a glance, both puzzled.

Could Damian feel embarrassed and want to leave?

After the phone rang twice, Special Assistant Lawson’s voice came from the other end, "Boss."

"Go buy a batch of clothes for kids aged three to five and send them over," Damian Sinclair thought for a moment then added, "For both boys and girls."

"Yes. Is it the same address you mentioned this morning?" Special Assistant Lawson asked.

"Yes," Damian Sinclair replied, "Also find four movers to help."

"Okay. Boss, is there anything else?"

"That’s all for now," Damian Sinclair said and hung up the phone.

Next to him, Bella Acker and Ethan were dumbfounded, staring at him blankly.

Is tearing one shirt worth compensating with a batch of new clothes? How many clothes make up a batch?

Ethan started counting on his fingers, "1, 2, 3, 4... 13, 8, 9... Bella, how many are in a batch?"

"I don’t know either." Bella Acker glanced at Damian and patted Ethan’s shoulder, "Be good, go play on your own."

"Oh." Ethan nodded, "I’ll go ask Aunt Sienna about the batch." With that, he joyfully ran off.

Bella Acker felt a bit awkward, "Damian, you don’t need to compensate for the shirt."
