Walker Of The Blue Sky

Chapter 301: Ch 301: Celestial Soul City

Chapter 301: Ch 301: Celestial Soul City

It was a huge bustling city.

The city was huge and filled with people. The streets were wide, but they were crowded with all sorts of people. Shops and stalls lined both sides of the streets, selling all kinds of rare treasures, weapons, and strange materials that can help in Soul Cultivation. There were buildings made of glowing stones, tall towers that reached the sky, and floating platforms where people moved from place to place. The air in the city was filled with the sounds of voices, footsteps, and the occasional roar of a powerful beast.

This city was the heart of Celestial Horizon. It was called the Celestial Soul City.

Celestial Soul City was ruled by five powerful forces. They are Red Tower, Blue Tower, Green Tower, White Tower, and Black Tower. These five forces belong to five major families of the Celestial Horizon. They also control the city’s resources, businesses, and secret lands.

Currently, two people could be seen sitting at a table inside a famous restaurant, near a large window on the second floor. One was a handsome young man with sharp golden eyes and silver hair, dressed in dark clothes. The other was an enchanting woman with long hair and deep, mysterious eyes.

The woman picked up a large cup of wine and drank it in one go. Then she sighed in satisfaction.

"Ah... this is good!" she said, her eyes full of enjoyment. It was as if nothing in the world mattered to her except for the wine.

The handsome man, Emrys, was not drinking. He was looking outside the window, watching the bustling city. After a moment, he turned to the woman and asked with some doubt in his voice, "Are you sure this city is the center of Celestial Horizon?"

Elysia did not look at him. She simply picked up another cup and drank. Then she replied, "Yes. This is the center. And the Archway you are looking for is right below this city. Reaching there is not an easy task."

Emrys’s eyes narrowed slightly. Then he nodded, saying, "Yes. I know it wouldn’t be easy to reach that place. The place is sealed with powerful formations and divine runes. It is not something you can reach with your current strength."

Emrys remained silent. He had expected this. But before he could ask anything else, Elysia continued speaking.

"If you want, I can send you there directly. In fact, you don’t even need the Archway. If you truly wish to go to the Abyss, I can take you there myself right now."

Emrys’s expression changed slightly.

Truth be told, he knew Elysia was shockingly powerful. In fact, she is the strongest being he has ever met other than Ling Xiaolong. She had once opened the path to the fragmented Cosmic World, which is like a sealed place where no one can enter randomly. It would not be a surprise for her to send Emrys directly to Abyss.

However, for some unknown reason, this thought never crossed his mind. The only thought in his mind was to go to the place tens of thousands of meters below the ground and obtain the Archway. Then find another way to activate the archway.

He did not expect Elysia to suddenly give him an offer to enter the Abyss. She would open the path.

He looked at Elysia, who still showed no emotion. Her face was indifferent as if none of this truly mattered to her.

For a moment, Emrys thought deeply. Then, he smiled faintly and shook his head, "Naa... No need!"

Elysia smirked but did not reply. She simply poured herself another cup of wine and drank, enjoying the moment.

Emrys looked thoughtful. He seemed to be considering something.

"Since you don’t want my help, there is no need for me to stay here longer. I am very busy right now. This ’little incarnation’ of mine is needed somewhere else." Elysia enjoyed the wine and slowly spoke.

Emrys raised his head and frowned a little. Then his frown eased.

Little incarnation?

He already knew that this body of hers was not her true self. But he didn’t expect her to consider it only a little incarnation.

If Gerald knew that he had been so terrified of just a small part of Elysia, who knows how he would feel? Maybe he would lose his mind in fear.

Even though Emrys was curious, he did not ask Elysia to stay. He nodded. From here on, he would be alone in finding the Archway and obtaining it. He had already decided to do this himself, without relying on her.

But there was another reason why he wanted to find the Archway that could connect to the Abyss. It is because he wanted to compare it with the one in his possession. If both Archways were similar, wouldn’t that mean the Archway he had was also a gate to another Cosmic Field, just like Spiritarium and Abyss?

Just this thought alone made his heart race.

But he was sure that the Archway in his possession was very ancient, and there was something more to it than just being the Gate to a different Cosmic Field.

Elysia, on the other hand, stood up. She was ready to leave. But then, she stopped. She looked at Emrys deeply. Her gaze was sharp and mysterious. Then she said, "When your Soul Cultivation becomes the strongest in Spiritarium, the second phase of your training will begin."

Then, without another word, she vanished. There was no trace of her left behind. It was as if she had never been there in the first place.

Emrys remained seated, looking at the empty space where she had been. He clenched his fist.

The second phase of training?

Just the first phase alone caused Emrys to rise greatly. His strength increased by leaps and bounds.

Although it was not the "training" he expected, just her action of throwing him into the fragmented Cosmic World helped him greatly.

He could not help but feel excitement and anticipation for the second phase of training. He wanted to know how Elysia would "train" him next.

Where would she throw him this time?

Taking a deep breath, he calmed his heart and turned his gaze back outside the window.
