Chapter 274: Ch 274: Ascension Gate Has Opened

The strange colors in the sky didn’t stop swirling. They grew brighter and brighter. They were also faster as they created a giant vortex that seemed endless. This vortex stretched across the entire sky, covering not only the Celestial Horizon but also the Infinite Soul Star and other three worlds like a blanket of light and shadows.

Every living creature of these four worlds and Celestial Horizon could see the change in the sky and the colors that brought phenomena throughout all worlds.

There was not a single creature who was not shocked.

However, only a few could truly understand the meaning behind these changes.

"The Ascension Gate has opened again!"

Only this thought remained in their minds. These people were the strongest in the universe. They were all Eternal Sky Soul Masters.

A rush of joy and happiness emerged within the bodies of all Eternal Sky Soul Masters throughout the universe. As the top experts of the universe, although they didn’t see the appearance of the phenomena, they could sense the change in universe. They immediately started conversing with each other, exchanging opinions.

Although they understood that the Ascension Gate had opened again, they didn’t know the location of this Ascension Gate.

After all, the universe is huge. Compared to the whole universe, the Celestial Horizon and the four worlds were nothing more than big stars.

Not to mention the top Soul Masters of the universe, even the Eternal Sky Soul Masters present in the Celestial Horizon were unaware of the location of Ascension Gate.

But they can at least tell that the huge pillar of light must have something to do with the Ascension Gate, or maybe it was being released from the Ascension Gate.

All of them left their positions and started moving towards the source of that huge pillar of light piercing into the sky. They wanted to get closer to the Ascension Gate.

However, a mysterious power seemed to be restricting their movements. No matter how long they walked or how fast they moved, the pillar of light seemed to stay at the same distance from when they first started moving.

It was strange and illogical, but it still happened.

On the other hand, the phenomena in the sky continued.

From the vortex formed from colorful energies, a shape began to appear.

"This is..."

This shape shocked the experts present in the Celestial Horizon once again. It is because they could sense a shocking aura, far stronger than Eternal Sky Soul Masters, attached to this yet-to-take shape.

The shape was faint at first, like a blurry outline, but it grew clearer and clearer with every passing second. After about fifteen minutes or so, the outline finally became clearer.

It was a massive gate.

The gate looked ancient, as though it had existed since the beginning of time. It was not made of stone or metal but seemed to be formed from pure energy. The colors of the vortex wrapped around it, making it glow with a strange and otherworldly light. It was enormous. It was so huge that it felt like it could swallow mountains and rivers. On its surface, countless runes and symbols were moving, glowing faintly as if they were alive.

The gate didn’t fully open, but its presence alone shook the entire world.

The shimmering pool below also reacted. The water inside rose higher and higher, creating a spiraling column that reached up toward the phantom gate in the sky. This column of water sparkled like crystals, reflecting the colorful light from above. At the same time, the rumbling sound grew louder, echoing across the land of Celestial Horizon like thunder.

The terrifying changes didn’t stop there.

The wind howled fiercely, swirling in every direction in Celestial Horizon, affecting every creature. Trees were uprooted, rivers overflowed, and rocks tumbled down from cliffs. Soul Beasts, no matter how strong, crouched low to the ground, trembling in fear. Even the air itself felt heavy, as if the world was holding its breath.

Every Soul Master could feel the energy coming from the gate, and it filled them with awe and dread. Some stood frozen in shock, while others immediately began to fly toward the strange light. They were all curious and alarmed.

Andrea, Laura, and Caruso could only watch in disbelief.

"Is this truly a phenomenon brought about by just from the activation of the Ascension Gate?" Laura whispered, her voice trembling.

"Is the Ascension Gate that fierce?"

Andrea didn’t answer. His eyes were fixed on the gate in the sky. He could feel its power, and it was beyond anything he had ever imagined.

From the swirling vortex around the gate, small specks of light began to fall. These lights looked like tiny stars, and wherever they landed, they disappeared, leaving the ground glowing faintly for a moment. People far away saw these lights and began to panic, unsure if they were a blessing or a curse.

Then, something even more incredible happened.

The gate started to hum.

It was a deep, low sound that seemed to come from the heart of the universe. This hum grew louder and louder, and soon filled every corner of the Celestial Horizon. With it came an overwhelming pressure, making it hard for anyone to breathe.

Suddenly, the gate in the sky flickered. For a brief moment, the world saw what lay beyond that gate.

It was a vast starry sky. Compared to the known universe, that starry sky seemed to be in an entirely different league.

But it wasn’t like the night sky they were used to. This starry sky appeared alive, filled with swirling galaxies, glowing nebulae, and streaks of light moving like rivers in space. It was endless and beautiful, but it also felt cold and dangerous, like it was not meant for ordinary beings.

The gate in the sky then shimmered and faded slightly. The world fell silent as everyone stared at the sky, unsure of what happen all of a sudden. They could noy understand why the gate disappeared.

All of them were unaware that the gate they saw in the sky was just a mere image of the real gate. The original Ascension Gate was still at the bottom of the shimmering pool.

Andrea clenched his fists. He could feel his heart pounding rapidly.

The Ascension Gate has been activated. The path to a wider sky has opened. The top Soul Masters of the universe can now start ascending and continue their cultivation journey there.
