Chapter 244: Ch 244: Edge Of Celestial Horizon

"Although the Ice Lord Valley is located at the edge of Celestial Horizon, it is the territory of the Rosefield Family. I don’t think you should go to that place. It is very dangerous!"

Nikolai and Jortis tried to stop Emrys from going into the territories of the five supreme families because no outsider is allowed to step foot there without permission. Then, they suddenly remembered that Emrys was a Frazier.

But then again, the relationship between the Frazier Family and Rosfield Family is not good. They always fight on every small matter.

Perhaps, Emrys’s arrival in their territory will anger the Rosefield Family and they’ll take it as an opportunity to fight with the Frazier Family again.

Nikolai and Jortis looked at each other and sighed. Obviously, they thought of another point.

Maybe, although Emrys is a Frazier, he is not from the supreme Frazier Family. After all, if he is, then how come he doesn’t even have basic information such as territories of five supreme families not having teleportation formations connected to any of the cities in the Celestial Horizon?

The Rosefield Family is one of the five supreme families in the Celestial Horizon, and no supreme family has ever built or allowed anyone to build teleportation formations within their territories. They have special methods to cover large distances in the shortest time possible and those methods are even more convenient than using teleportation formations. Unfortunately, those methods of traveling are strictly under the control of the five supreme families."

Emrys sighed inwardly after learning there was no teleportation formation to the Ice Lord Valley. In the end, he thought of something and asked, "Then, do you know how far the Ice Lord Valley is from this city? And in which direction is the valley located?"

The most important thing for Emrys right now was going to the Ice Lord Valley and looking for his mother.

His mother, Slivya Rosefield, used to be the daughter of the Rosefield Family. The Ice Lord Valley being Rosefield Family’s territory didn’t surprise him at all.

As for being afraid of them...

Is it a joke?

Why would Emrys be afraid of them?

"Ice Lord Valley is said to be located at the easternmost edge of Celestial Horizon," Jortis answered Emrys’s question this time. He continued, "I only roughly know about this because I haven’t been there personally. Emrys silently nodded inwardly. He had already expected that the edge of Celestial Horizon is not truly an "edge", this word must hold a different meaning.

Now that he understood what the "edge" truly meant, his curiosity increased instead of being fulfilled, because the old man used "multiple worlds" and "collision of energy from different worlds" in his explanation.

Emrys absorbed this information with growing curiosity. In the end, a thoughtful expression appeared on his face as he said in a low voice, "So, the edge isn’t just the end of the land, it is a border between worlds with unknown hidden mysteries?"

"Precisely," the old man said while nodding.

"You just said that even Eternal Sky Soul Masters would not dare to go to the edge of Celestial Horizon, right?"

Seeing the old man nodding his head, Emrys presented his question, saying, "Then what is the deal with the Ice Lord Valley that is said to be located at the edge of Celestial Horizon? Moreover, it is a territory controlled by the Rosefield Family. How can a family control a territory located at a place where even Eternal Sky Soul Masters don’t dare to go?"

"This..." The old man was stunned and fell in deep thought.
