Chapter 139 -: 138 Killing the protagonist.[3]

Chapter 139 -: 138 Killing the protagonist.[3]

Julius slowly stood up, using Rosalina’s shoulder for support.

The huge chunk of debris that had smashed into him from nowhere was clear proof of how ridiculously hard it was to kill Crypian, even without his stupid System helping.

"Rose, do you have any idea how we can actually kill these two?"

Julius whispered as he stepped away from her support and stood on his own.

On the other side, Crypian and Alia stared at the pile of broken stone and wood with wide, shocked eyes.

They looked like they had just won the lottery.

They stayed safely behind the Love Guardian, still holding onto each other.

Rosalina watched them quietly for a moment, thinking hard.

Her voice came out heavy and tired.

"Honestly... it’s still hard to believe that plain luck can be this strong."

Her brows furrowed deeply as she looked around.

The tenth floor was mostly empty and dark, not much to see.

She lifted her head and stared up into the empty space above them.

No roof, no ceiling, nothing.

Yet that giant piece of debris had appeared out of thin air and crushed Julius right when his axe was about to slice Crypian and Alia in half.

It made zero sense.

"No matter how much we think about it... we’re just standing here watching this crazy nonsense," she muttered.

Her shoulders slumped a little as the thought sank in.

It really seemed nearly impossible to kill that guy.

Julius noticed her getting down and quickly patted her back gently.

His eyes softened behind the mask. "Hey, don’t look so sad. These two have ridiculous luck, sure... but they aren’t actual gods, right?" He gave her a small smile.

Even though she couldn’t see his smile because of the mask, Rosalina could feel it.

Her face relaxed a bit and she nodded. "Yeah..."

She raised her hand.

A glowing circle appeared in the air, and a long, heavy greatsword popped out of it.

She rested the massive blade casually on her shoulder and continued, "They aren’t immortal, so we can still..."

Her words were suddenly cut off by a loud, excited shout.

"YOU EVIL FIENDS!!!" The Love Guardian boomed, his voice full of proud excitement.

He pointed dramatically at Crypian and Alia behind him.

Their eyes were now filled with fresh resolve as they held each other tightly.

"Did you see that?! Someone like you two will never understand such pure love! This is the power of true love that saved them!"

"Pop!"

Veins bulged on both Julius’s and Rosalina’s foreheads under their masks.

They were already annoyed by the insane luck protecting Crypian.

Now this oversized pimp was throwing gasoline on the fire and making everything ten times more irritating.

"If I don’t turn this walking embarrassment into a professional dung cleaner..." Rosalina growled through gritted teeth.

Every word from the Love Guardian gave her serious cringe bumps.

Julius felt the same. He almost wanted to vomit from the pure cheesiness.

"Let’s make him a dishwasher after we get married. What do you say?" he asked, staring at the Love Guardian with pure annoyance.

"Yeah!" Rosalina nodded quickly.

She shook off the hood from her head, letting her smooth black hair fall freely over her shoulders.

She gathered it all together, pulled it back, and tied it into a tight, firm knot.

"Let’s show this pimp exactly what his so-called ’pure love’ is really worth!"

She said, gripping her greatsword with both hands and dropping into a ready fighting stance.

Julius reached his fist out to the side with a grin hidden under his mask. "Let’s first take care of this pimp," he said.

His other hand stretched forward.

A glowing magic circle appeared in the air, the special one from his Magic Arsenal’s second form for weapons.

In the next instant, a giant war hammer popped out and stopped neatly in his grip.

The heavy head of the hammer looked big enough to flatten a horse.

Rosalina bumped her fist against his outstretched hand with a solid smack.

"Let’s kill this pimp," she said, her voice full of fire.

She grabbed her massive greatsword with one hand and bent her waist slightly, dropping into a low stance like a runner ready to sprint in a marathon.

Her black hair, tied in a tight knot, didn’t move an inch.

Julius copied her stance, locking his sharp gaze on the Love Guardian.

The big armored guy’s face turned serious under his shiny helmet.

He raised one hand and spoke in a deep, solemn voice.

"Move back!" he ordered Crypian and Alia.

Crypian and Alia quickly stepped backward, moving deeper into safety.

They held onto each other tightly, their bodies pressed close as if to show the whole world how deeply in love they were.

It looked like a cheesy romance movie scene.

On the other side, Julius and Rosalina muttered softly at the same time.

"Infinite Cast..."

Two glowing blue circles appeared around their legs.

The circles spun slowly at first, then faster and faster.

Bright sparks of blue light danced along the edges like tiny fireworks.

A powerful buzzing energy rushed through their muscles.

Their legs felt lighter, stronger, and full of power.

In just a second, their speed grew so much it felt like the world around them had slowed down.

"Come!" the Love Guardian roared loudly.

He raised his massive sword high, ready for a big fight.

His eyes stayed locked on the two dangerous enemies in front of him.

He looked ready to protect "pure love" with his life.

"Boom!"

Both Julius and Rosalina vanished in an instant.

They turned into blurry streaks that the naked eye could barely follow.

The Love Guardian blinked once, and in that tiny moment, they were gone from their spots.

When his eyes opened again, they had already appeared right in front of him like ghosts.

Julius swung his heavy war hammer down with full force.

Rosalina slashed her greatsword horizontally at the same time, aiming straight for the Love Guardian’s waist.

The Love Guardian had almost no time, but he reacted fast.

He took a quick step to the side, just barely moving out of the war hammer’s deadly arc.

"Boom!"

It felt like time had suddenly slowed down only for the Love Guardian.

Julius’s war hammer smashed into the ground in slow motion, creating a deep, wide crater with cracks spreading out like spiderwebs.

Dust and small stones flew everywhere.

At the same moment, Rosalina’s greatsword came flying toward his waist.

The Love Guardian raised his own sword and held it sideways to block.

Everything, his arms, his sword, even the air, moved as slow as a tired snail.

"Clang!"

The moment the two swords crashed together, time snapped back to normal.

The powerful impact sent a strong, numbing vibration through the Love Guardian’s hand and up his arm, making his fingers tingle painfully.

He used the force to flip backward quickly, trying to create some distance.

But right at that instant, Julius lifted his free hand and snapped his fingers sharply.

Two sharp spears instantly formed in the air, floating and gleaming with deadly light.

"Flick!"

Julius flicked his fingers again.

The two spears shot forward like angry arrows, rushing toward the Love Guardian in a fast, deadly curve.

The two spears flew in a wide, deadly arc.

If the Love Guardian dodged them, the spears would shoot straight toward Crypian and Alia.

But the big armored man didn’t look even a little worried.

He slammed his massive sword hard into the ground.

The moment the blade touched the floor, it started to vibrate strongly.

With each powerful vibration, the sword grew longer and longer.

The metal quickly spread out and formed a tall, round shield of glowing energy that completely surrounded the Love Guardian.

"Clang! Clang!"

The two spears smashed into the glowing barrier.

Bright sparks exploded everywhere like fireworks.

The spears bounced off harmlessly and clattered to the ground.

Julius and Rosalina didn’t waste any time.

They rushed forward again at insane speed.

Everything around them turned into blurry streaks, the walls, the floor, even the dust in the air.

’This spell is really great,’ Julius thought with a small grin under his mask.

He glanced sideways at Rosalina as they ran.

She was the one who had created this clever speed path spell.

It was called Instant Acceleration. It could make their leg movements twenty times faster than normal.

He couldn’t help feeling impressed.

’What a genius girl she is,’ he thought warmly while looking at her.

As they charged, Julius spoke quickly, "Attack in such a way that he can’t avoid it or block it easily."

Rosalina turned her head just a little and gave him a short, confident nod.

"Okay!" she replied with a determined smile.
