The Soft-Hearted Wife of Mr. Big Shot

Chapter 108: He Treats Her Very Well

Chapter 108: He Treats Her Very Well

"Brother, you’re back?"

The sound of the door opening echoed, and Holly’s smile was bright as she immediately rushed over.

"What delicious food did Mrs. Hayes make today?"

After a busy day, the moment Leo saw Holly, all his weariness vanished.

He gently ruffled Holly’s hair, his voice exceptionally tender.

"Sweet and sour ribs, braised tenderloin..."

Holly counted on her fingers, there were over ten dishes in total, and her smile grew wider.

She always had a good memory, especially when it came to remembering dish names, never forgetting a single one.

"They’re all Holly’s favorites."

Leo smiled, looking at Holly with full of tenderness.

Mrs. Hayes came out of the kitchen, smiling sincerely as she watched Leo and Holly.

It was best if Leo and Holly got along so well.

"Mrs. Hayes, join us for dinner."

Leo looked at the table full of dishes and invited Mrs. Hayes to eat with them.

At Leo’s place, there was never a distinction between master and servant. Most of the time, Mrs. Hayes would accompany him for meals, but sometimes she would decline to join the table.

Like today.

"No, no, today I’ll just have noodles, don’t want to disturb you two."

Mrs. Hayes waved her hand, refusing with a smile.

Two young people having dinner, she didn’t want to be the one to intrude.

Since Mrs. Hayes didn’t want to, Leo didn’t insist.

At the dining table, Leo carefully peeled shrimp for Holly, while Holly only had to eat.

"Eat slowly, don’t choke."

Some rice was sticking to the corner of Holly’s mouth, and Leo reached over to wipe it away, looking at Holly with indulgence.

The way the little girl ate was like a hamster with a full mouth, extremely adorable.

Watching Holly eat was a kind of enjoyment for Leo, making him feel hungry even when he wasn’t.

In front of the little girl, even the plainest food seemed like a gourmet delight, enticing the appetite.

"Hmm, I won’t choke."

Holly shook her head, aware that her eating manner wasn’t very graceful.

She had long since exposed herself in front of Leo, so there was no need to hide it anymore.

"The little girl doesn’t need to work anymore; she can just become an eating broadcaster."

Leo joked half-seriously, placing the peeled shrimp in front of Holly, a smile hiding in his eyes.

It was a joke, but not entirely.

If she wished, Leo would hope she could do just that.

Leo didn’t know exactly who Holly was, but he knew she might encounter danger.

Thinking back to the time Holly was covered in blood, Leo’s heart ached.

It must have hurt so much, yet the little girl didn’t utter a sound, still wearing a faint smile.

"Eating too much will make me fat, I’m already quite fat now."

Holly touched her belly, looking troubled and conflicted.

There was indeed a lot of flesh on her belly.

People said she didn’t gain weight from eating, but Holly knew she was getting fatter, more flesh on her body, although her weight seemed not to increase.

"A bit chubby is cute."

Leo chuckled softly.

The little girl’s so thin, eating more is good for gaining some weight.

Girls are probably all like this, clearly not fat at all but always claiming they are, constantly concerned about their weight.

"No, being chubby isn’t cute."

Holly shook her head; she’d even despise herself if she got fat.

Yet, she couldn’t stop craving good food, and when she saw something delicious, she’d eat it without hesitation.

No helping it, her cravings ran deep.

"You’re cute, I like it."

Leo’s smile was extremely gentle.

Whether chubby or thin, he liked her and wouldn’t mind.

Being a bit chubby is cute, being too thin isn’t good.

"No, too much flesh makes it hard to walk."

Holly blinked, pinching her face and speaking slowly.

Really, there’s too much flesh, and she thought she should diet.

But!

She kept saying she needed to lose weight, yet her body showed no action; she wasn’t the type to act when it came to dieting.

"It’s okay, if you can’t walk, your brother will carry you."

After peeling the shrimp, Leo picked out the fish bones for Holly, looking at her with tenderness.

"But that’s wasting my brother’s time."

Holly lifted her eyes, tilting her head to look at Leo, speaking slowly.

"No worry, even if your brother doesn’t work, he can still support you."

Leo said seriously, without a hint of joking.

Leaving early and returning late, always busy with work until late, not because he needed money, but out of responsibility for the company.

Since he founded the company, it’s best if it prospers, as the founder, he should be responsible for it and its future development.

"Actually, I can support myself."

Holly looked at Leo, speaking seriously.

She had money in hand, wasn’t fond of corporate affairs, but she received dividends into her account every month.

She didn’t worry about spending money.

"What you have is yours, and what’s mine is also yours, there’s plenty."

Leo placed the deboned fish in Holly’s bowl, speaking softly.

He knew she wasn’t short on money; his little girl was very independent, why would she lack money?

But still, he wanted to spend money on her, to give her the best.

Holly not lacking was one thing, him giving was another, and the two weren’t much related.

"You’re mine, too."

Holly blinked, her eyes full of joy.

The more she looked at Leo, the more handsome she found him.

This man was hers, and that was truly great. She was a sucker for good looks, just usually didn’t show it.

"Yes, I’m yours."

Leo’s voice carried happiness, looking at Holly with affection.

Indeed, he’s Holly’s.

"Brother, eat something yourself, don’t just look after me, I’m getting full."

Holly changed the topic, as Leo had been serving her and barely ate anything.

Peeled shrimp for her and then deboned fish, he hadn’t eaten much himself.

"Brother’s not very hungry."

Leo shook his head, watching the little girl eat was also a kind of enjoyment.

Holly looked at Leo, "But brother hasn’t eaten much at all."

She lightly bit her lip, looking at Leo with concern in her eyes.

Leo had been taking care of her the whole time, barely using his own chopsticks.

"Alright, brother will eat."

Leo curled his lips, putting down what he was holding and started eating.

The little girl wanted him to eat, he couldn’t let her down.

Holly smiled deeply, her smile unusually gentle as she propped her chin and watched Leo eat.

Hmm, Leo eating looked so nice too.
