Chapter 995: The Vampire King’s Decision

During the whole interrogation and charming moment, I have been using my phone. And it’s to contact Albert who was sleeping. It’s so that he could listen to the interrogation.

Even if these vampires didn’t know about the cult, it’s best for them to not know about phones yet. At least not now.

"Combination of charming and interrogation is so good. Maybe I’ll ask Arin to do that for us next time. And if possible, Sonia as well. She should be able to use charm already, right?" Albert suggested.

That’s right. Sophie might have been used most of the time as a way for communication. And now, she’s being used as transfer point for portal made by Lina. But she’s still someone who can use charm magic.

She might not be able to do it when I first met her. But after our adventure for so long and her training with Arin, she can somehow use charm magic again.

Thinking of these two girls who can so easily charm any man, it makes me afraid of what the real succubus can do.

Thankfully, I haven’t met any succubus yet. Maybe they’re already extinct.

If any of them somehow made contract with a summoner from the cult, then it will be dangerous for us.

Most of our strongest force contains girls. But that’s just our strongest force. Our real force was mainly consists of men. So it will be dangerous if we face succubus in the future.

"So, is there anything you want to ask them?" Victoria asked Albert using my phone.

Obviously, I won’t show the vampires that I’m calling someone. That’s why it’s Victoria who talked with Albert.

Let the cult think that our long distance communication can only be done using the TV. But they should have known that making one is difficult unless you’re a genius like Marie.

"I think Arin and the others have taken everything we could from those vampires. I don’t have anything else to ask. Probably other than whether the Vampire King will join us or not," Albert said.

That’s right. They haven’t decided if they will join us or not. If not, then I guess we have to think of a way to help them.

The interrogation is over. And Albert hangs up his phone after telling me that there will be another meeting during the day later.

He also told me that I can do anything I want with the captured vampires. So I just let the original Vampire king take care of them.

"What will you do to them?" Arin asked.

"..."

The original Vampire King didn’t say anything. And instead, he approached the other Vampire King and slashed his neck with a sword he manifested using blood.

"Death to the traitors," he said.

Then his wife and the other loyal vampires also killed the rest of the captured vampires. Without hesitation.

"Well, that was quick. So what will you do now?" I asked the Vampire King.

Instead of answering me, he turned toward the rest of his vampires group and told them something.

"I won’t be mad. If you want to join the Vampire Queen to get rid of that stupid cult, you’re free to do that. My wife and I have talked about what we’re going to do this morning. And we will move on our own and I will not create a large group anymore and just live for myself and my wife. What will you guys do?" the Vampire King asked.

I guess he won’t join us. But there’s a chance that some other vampires will join us.

I thought that it would be just a few. But turns out, all ten other vampires were willing to join us. Leaving only the Vampire King and his wife to roam around the world freely.

"You have led us long enough, my King. It’s time for you to live for your own sake and be happy," one of the vampires said.

"I see. Well, this is what we have decided on. What will you do?" the Vampire King asked me.

"Since you won’t join us, then that’s fine. The other vampires will be trained to fight the cult and grow stronger. They will be given blood as well. As for you, where will you go? If you stay in this world, you might end up meeting my allies. I know how much you like human’s blood, so it could be dangerous for you if you end up fighting them since they’re strong. If you want, I can bring you to Monsters World and you can do whatever you want there," I said.

I explained to him about the Monsters World because the Vampire King didn’t know anything at all about Monsters World. I guess he and his subordinates had always been in this world since they were born. Only the traitors who made contract with a summoner had been brought to Monsters World. After all, summoner can only make a contract directly with a monster in the Monsters World.

"I feel like that place is better than here. Though you said that there’s a chance that the cult will be there as well. Won’t it be dangerous?" the Vampire King asked.

"Their goal is to destroy the world. This world and that Monsters World as well. So it’s not like there’s really a safe place until they are destroyed. You can say that you want to live life for yourself. But in the end, if you face anyone from the cult anywhere, you have to fight them," I said.

"I guess there really is no safe place. Then I’ll do this. I will find happiness with my wife in Monsters World. But if I find someone in that world, I will contact you. Though is there a way for me to contact you?" he asked.

"There is."

I grabbed an unused phone after opening a portal and gave him one. Then I explained how to use it to him.

I also gave him a Blobby filled with a bit of Sonia’s soil so he can contact us. I told him to tap the Blobby and Sonia appeared. Then I introduced Sonia to him.

Thanks to her training, there’s no longer a time gap when she transported from Earth to Monsters World anymore. So the Vampire King or anyone in Monsters World can contact Sonia.

"Also, there are some humans in that world other than those from the cult. They’re my allies. If you met them, don’t engage in a fight. Ask them who the most famous clown on Earth is. If they say my name, Roy, then they’re our allies. If they say my alias, Clarence, or any other names, then they’re enemies," I said.

This is a simple code that Albert and the others gave every single agent in the alliance. Clarence means that they don’t know my real name. That means they’re not our allies.

If they answered with my real name, then they’re our allies. And there won’t be a fight.

Though what if there are two answers from two different people? Then the one who answered with Roy will quickly kill the one who answered with other name. At least that’s what the agents agreed with.

"I’ll take you to the village I built. There, you can ask other monsters if you have any questions. After that, you’re free to go anywhere you want. Though if you don’t have any question, at least you know where my village is. In case you want to play," I said.

"Then I’ll give you my former castle if you want," Arin suddenly interrupted.

"Castle?" the Vampire King asked.

"I am still the Vampire Queen. Before I came to this world, I live in a castle. Now, there’s no one there. The ones whom I left behind in that place were all dead because of the cult. So it’s empty. You can take the castle if you want. I’ll show you the way since I’ll be going to the Monsters World together with you," Arin said.

The Vampire King didn’t give any real answer as he was still doesn’t know how to react after being given a castle. But it’s not like he gave a negative response.

"You’re going to the Monsters World?" I asked Arin.

"We just got new members. And it’s best to train them with the other monsters. They will grow faster that way," Arin said.

So she’s going to introduce the new vampires to the other monsters. That’s a good idea.

"Then those who want to go to the Monsters World can enter this portal," I said after I opened a portal.

Then Arin and the others entered first. Leaving the Vampire King and his wife to be the last to enter.

"Wait, I’ll give you this."

I threw the Vampire King a cold bag filled with two blood bags. They contain my blood.

"That might be the last human blood you will ever taste. Be careful though. That’s my blood in there. And also the most delicious blood according to Arin. Drink it little by little so you won’t get addicted. Also, my blood seems to give strong boost for vampires without making them lose their mind," I said.

The bag was made so it can hold the temperature so my blood will last for at least one month. I explained it to the Vampire King.

"Thank you for all this. If not for you, I might be dead already," the Vampire King said.

"As long as you don’t join the cult, then consider we’re even."

The two entered the portal and I closed them. Leaving me, Victoria, and Sonia behind. And we returned back home right away.

Let’s get to sleep before the next meeting. There’s a lot to discuss.
