The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 967: Another Game of Tag Before Another Battle

Chapter 967: Another Game of Tag Before Another Battle

"Is this all of them?" the Spirit King asked.

"Yeah. The next batch will come after more people reached master level. Just wait," I said.

I’m currently bringing the second batch of people to the Spirit Mountain. They are the expert level mages from the army who might have potential to reach master level sooner than the others. Not all expert level mages. We still need people to fight the war after all.

I also checked both Angela’s and Kayla’s condition. They are working hard.

When I arrived, Kayla was taking a break. And we had a chat for a while. I also asked her if she wanted to return back home for a while or not.

"I think I’ll stay here for a bit longer. I feel like my healing element can reach another level soon," she said.

"Alright. Just don’t force yourself too much. Forcefully getting stronger won’t be good in the long run. Just take your time," I said to her.

By the way, Angela was still busy cultivating. For her, I don’t think she ever felt tired or bored from cultivating. I just told Kayla to make sure that she watch over Angela as well whenever she could.

Then I returned back to Tatrama where all the kings were gathering.

Thanks to the addition of master level mages, we can do more things. Of course we got at least one master level mages in a strategic location in every country.

It was a good thing that at least now, even the smaller countries, each have at least one master level mage. So there’s no need for a master level mage from another country to protect different country.

"Though for two weeks, we gave those master level mages a break. After all, it has been months ever since they left their home. We also made sure that if they want to go to another city to inform their king," Albert said.

"We will depend on them so much from now on. So, a few weeks of break is understandable. Does it mean that there’s nothing else for us to do?" Old man Henry asked.

"Once the break is over, we will assign the master level mages to a different location. If they want to, we can also have their entire family move together. I’m sure they will feel more at ease if they can live together with their own family. Also, don’t forget that they are master level mages. Other than King Fabio, everyone here is weaker than even expert level mages. We have to treat them respectfully," Albert said.

Last night, he contacted me and told me to come meet him for a chat. So I did.

And Albert told me that it was lucky that we have so many master level mages now. And it was also fortunate that it happened during a war against the cult since we have common enemy.

If these people reached master level mages when it’s not during a time of war, he wouldn’t know what to do with them. And the people will feel unrest since there are too many master level mages who can destroy an entire city easily.

Albert also said that he felt threatened by the existence of these master level mages even though they should be our allies. Because we can’t tell what they will do once the war is over. And Albert can only promise them status and wealth for their help.

"And the reason I told you this is because you are the strongest. Just in case these master level mages acting up, the one we will ask for help would be you. So you might end up killing our current friends if they end up betraying us."

That’s what he told me last night. Before I brought the second batch of people to the Spirit Mountain.

Let’s hope that such thing won’t happen. Though we will not be able to know what will happen in the future. After all, all these new master level mages have hundreds of years left to live.

After the discussion was over, I brought Jewel and the others to play the game of tag with me and the monsters. Just those I considered friends. The rest, let them go back home and reunited with their families and friends after three months separated from them.

Just like usual, I let the kids play first. Doing this, everyone can learn about the game.

Luna also did her best to show her brother and mother that she has grown and able to use her Future Sight more freely. Obviously, her mother and brother were very proud of her.

Luna then became one of the last ten people to get eliminated. And the winner was werewolf boy who asked me, his king, to pat his head.

...The monsters think that being patted is the privilege of the winner. While the human kids just can ask me whenever they want because for them, it’s a normal sight of me spoiling them. Well, it was an easy reward to give. So I just do it.

With more people, the stage also became bigger. And since I just want to observe everyone’s growth, I just hid myself in one of the floating island and see everything with my Divine Vision.

Though when someone tried to eliminate me, I did my best to stay in the game. But in the end, Graham eliminated me. So now I can watch the game freely.

The new master level mages tried their best. But in the end, they are no match against those who have played this game many times.

They are still awkward and unable to negotiate for cooperation, or still don’t understand the game well.

It finally ended with Shirley’s victory. She’s the second human to win this game other than me, so I felt glad for her.

Well, that’s it for the game. And after that, I brought the humans back to Earth and return back home.

Just a few hours after I returned home, I got the news that the city that Robby lives, there’s a battle nearby. So it’s time to act as Robby again.

The others wanted to help, but I refused. Because this is a bait for the cult to attack that city. We can’t just let the cult think that there were too many master level mages living there. Or they won’t attack us at all.

Though I have portals with me. So it doesn’t matter in the end.

Maybe the cult is trying to find out the limit of where I can go with my portals. That’s why they did so many attacks in different places. I’ll try telling the others about this after this battle.

There were not many master level mages in this battle. So I could easily defeat them even when I’m all alone.

And now that we also have more master level mages, I don’t think there’s a need to worry much if there’s a big battle or not soon. Everyone will be ready to fight.

There’s no survivor again this time. I think it will take a while until they learned that Robby lives nearby. But that’s fine.

Seriously, this is such a pain in the ass. The only thing I can do right now is playing more game of tag.

Is what I thought. Then suddenly, I got the news again that this time, a small country allied to us was under attack. So I need to help together with the some master level mages who were told to take a break.

I guess you can’t get what you want. Just when they were told that they can have two weeks break, they have to be deployed right away.

Well, it should be fine. The scale of the attack is surprisingly smaller than when the cult attacked a big city in Arturo before. We should be able to handle it.

Although we have fewer people because I brought them to the Spirit Mountain, the existence of the master level mages should be good enough to not make the difference. Or maybe we even have the advantage because of them.

"So, what will you do, Roy?" Victoria asked.

"I will be there. But I will observe first if our master level mages can handle them or not. Who should we take there?" I asked Victoria.

"For the portal close to that country, it should be Crabbe. There’s also a huge lake and river nearby. It should be fine with him around," Victoria said.

So this time, it’s Crabbe’s turn.

And so, I opened a portal near that country before I summoned Crabbe there.

"Where’s the fight?" Crabbe asked.

"Near the river over there. I guess I won’t have to worry about you since there’s a river nearby. Good luck," I said.

Then I casually walked to the battlefield. Not to fight yet. But to see the master level mage from this country first.

I could see one of them from this country, and another from different country here as reinforcement. And these two could handle multiple master level mages on their own.

Though they have more numbers. So in the end, I have to participate.

Just when I was about to participate, I got another news that there’s another small country being attacked. Seems like the cult is planning something now.
