Chapter 951: Lina Will Help

Back at home, I asked Lina to cook me some meals before I told her that I have something to discuss.

"Lina, I have something to ask of you."

"Okay, I’ll do it."

Before I said anything else, she just agreed to help me. That was too fast of an answer.

"Well, I expected that reply, but I didn’t expect it to be that fast. I’ll tell you what I want first before you tell me whether you are willing to do it or not," I said.

"Okay, I’ll listen first," Lina said.

"It’s about your newest familiar and also one of our oldest ally, Sonia. Let’s call her here first," I said.

Then I tapped the soil that I carried around all the time. There were no immediate reply, but soon after, Sonia appeared.

"Sorry, I had to finish washing the dishes first in the hotel in Melk. If it’s here, everything is done by Lina most of the time. So I rarely had the time to do chores. Also, I think that since it’s you who called me, there’s nothing emergency that you need my immediate help with. So I took my time to finish doing the dishes first," Sonia said.

"...Why do you want to do chores?" I asked the ghost.

But just to be safe, you can bring Elsie or Sunny with you. Will you do it?" I asked.

"Sure. I’ll do it. This way, I can help you a lot and not just at home, right?" Lina said.

Yeah. She’s very supportive at everything I do. I’m really glad that she’s with me. Though she was like the easiest recruit for us and the easiest to fall in love with me. But I will make sure that her love will be rewarded.

"Lina, you can’t just agree with him. I’m fine since I’m your familiar and you’re the master. I’ll do what you want me to do. But even though Roy said that you won’t be put in danger, that doesn’t mean that there’s no danger at all. Ask him for a reward. Maybe even a very personal reward just for you. You need to be active once in a while," Sonia said to Lina.

Right. Lina, even though she cooks and do a lot of things to me, she never asked for any reward. Just some praises and she will be happy.

Though if it’s her, even if it’s not a reward and she just asked me to do something, then I will do it as long as I have the time.

I’m sure that Sonia and Victoria who often peeked at me when I was with other girls knew that. But Sonia told Lina to actively asked for reward because she almost never ask me for anything.

And hearing that she can ask me anything, I can see her heartbeat was increasing. She’s excited. I wonder what she’s going to ask me?

"Then tonight! I’ll come to your room tonight and tell you what I want you to do! Just us two. Not even Sonia or Victoria!" Lina said.

"That’s okay. Even if I have to, I will give an order to Victoria to not approach my room later tonight," I said.

So is it some kind of night activity? Then I will gladly do it.

"So let’s inform the other first. Sonia, you can go to where Albert is and when it’s safe, you can tell Lina to get us there. Just by showing it to him, I’m sure that he already knew what we’re going to do," I said.

"Is that some kind of telepathy between brothers?" Sonia teased.

"No. It’s just what I expect from someone who is a king. Except for Lynn perhaps. I’m sure that even the other kings will know what to expect when they saw Sonia appeared and then a portal opened," I said.

Yeah. I don’t expect much from Lynn. Unless she’s actually really smart but she hid it really well. Though I don’t think that’s the case. At least Claudia is smarter than her. With Claudia by her side, they can rule the Empire well.

Sonia then disappeared. And then soon after, Lina opened up a portal to where Sonia was. And it’s right in front of Albert, Marie, and the twins.

"That’s not Roy’s portal. That’s Lina’s. I see, so that’s how it is," Albert said to himself.

As expected, he understood. Perhaps there’s really a telepathic connection between us brothers.

"Lina can get Sonia to teleport to anywhere where her soil was and then Lina herself will open a portal there. That will be really helpful for us," Albert continued.

"That’s right. Though she’s still just an expert level summoner, so she won’t be able to open up portals as much as I could. But it’s still helpful. As for transporting something huge like the floating island, I will still take care of them. Also, Lina won’t enter the battlefield. I won’t allow her to open a portal to the battlefield," I said.

"That’s already much better than if we just rely on Roy to do everything. Lina, I’ll ask for your help from now on. Also, you can also do this to the other kings. Then we did the same to the other kings. And I properly introduced Lina to the others.

They have seen her several times during meeting. And they also saw my past. So they knew who she is.

But now, she won’t just be known as my maid anymore. But also will help us in the war. Though she won’t be put in any danger. I hope.

Then Albert told me to go back to where he was when I’m done. Lina suggested that she will be the one to open a portal instead of me when I was just about to open my portal.

"Roy, because Shirley and Miguel are not here, we have significantly lower security than before. So at least until one of them returned, I want you to take care of my kids. Luna is also in Cassau, right? They can play with her, Daniel, and the others there."

I was only going to be here to inform Albert about Lina’s participation. But I ended up becoming a babysitter instead?
