Chapter 938: To Infiltrate the Facility

There are way too many of them. Maybe I shouldn’t have stopped a thousand of them here. Just letting them left through the portal.

Though if that happened, the others will be in much more trouble. And Varadis might have been destroyed already. So I guess it’’s good that I stopped many of them here..

Well, still not that good though. I have used magic to open up portals many times. And not just any normal portals. But a lot of huge portals to let several huge floating islands to enter.

I don’t know how many times I can open a portal anymore today, but I know that it won’t be many. Maybe five? Or maybe even less.

So, it means that I can no longer bring reinforcement here. The good news is that the vampires can fight and recover their stamina at the same time.

"Is there no plan at all?" Sara asked me.

She got close to me and then using her earth magic to gave us protection as she asked me if there’s a plan at all.

I was about to say no other than to kill everyone, but I heard a plan that Victoria sent to me via telepathy.

’Roy, the fight will go on for a long time. And they might even destroy the facility to protect their secret. We can’t wait for Sonia to return any longer, so it’s best for a small group of people to infiltrate the facility. Roy, you will enter the facility with Sara and Shirley. We need mobility in case they destroyed the place. And Sara will be in charge of investigating while you will have to look at everything else and grab as many things as possible. And if it’s impossible to escape by flying, you can open a portal for just the three of you to escape. That’s what’s Rudy’s plan is. Or should I say Sunglasses?’

I see. Using only three people, then we can have a quick check on that facility.

Shirley will help us fly through the narrow wall to check the inside as fast as possible. Sara will investigate and gave command to where the cult probably hide their most important secret, while I check the rest with my Divine Vision.

Meanwhile, the others who won’t enter the facility will do their best to make sure that no one from the outside is destroying the facility.

"Sara, I just got telepathic message from Victoria who has returned to Consenza. Sunglasses’ plan is for you, Shirley, and I, just us three, to infiltrate the facility and get as many things as we can while the rest will be fighting here to block the enemy. Understand?"

I told Sara about the plan. And she quickly understood it.

"I see. Because I’m the strongest agent here, Rudy told me to do it. And Princess Shirley was appointed because of her wind magic. And you will be there to make it easier for us to investigate. Alright, let’s do it," Sara said.

Now, I just need to relay the plan to Shirley and Kayla who is in charge here. Even though she’s a princess, Shirley insisted in coming. That’s why she’s here along with the other elite members of the team like Angela, Candy, and the usual group who are not busy in other places.

"Alright. I’ll go get Shirley while you inform the plan to Kayla and the others. Wait for us," I said to Sara before I jumped to the sky.

Shirley was fighting in the air most of the time. And she’s so fast so she’s already moved to another place to fight the enemies. But it’s good that she’s still within my sight. Though it’s hard to talk to her if she kept on moving.

Well, this is a race then. I will kill and dodge the enemies while I run in the air toward where Shelia is.

Hmm... I don’t think the cult knew about me able to walk in the air. But they are the subordinates of the Evil God. Someone who was familiar with Aura users in the past. Which means that he could have told someone that Aura user can run in the air.

I guess it’s impossible to make them think that I’m a wind mage who can fly. Well, that’s fine. As long as I kept my secret weapon as secret from them, then I can do other things.

I kept running in the sky while also killing the enemies on the way. They are too busy focusing on Shirley and Angela in the air that they were late to notice that I got close to them.

"Shirley, new plan. Sara, you, and I will infiltrate that building whiel Angela and the others block the enemies here. Though I think with the speed of the three of us boosted with your wind magic, there’s no need to worry about being chased from behind. So Angela, make sure that you kill anyone who tried to attack the facility from the outside. Do you understand?" I asked Angela after telling them both about the plan.

"It’s no different than before. I just need to kill them all," Angela said.

"Well... that’s not entirely wrong. Good thing I told Sara to inform Kayla about the plan. Shirley, let’s go! Oh?"

Before I finished speaking, I can feel my body is floating. It’s not because I was moving my legs in the air, but because Shirley helped me fly with her wind magic.

"I’ll pick Sara up like this. Do you see where she is?" Shirley asked.

"Over there with Kayla," I pointed at where Sara was and now we’re flying that way.

Very swiftly, she lifted Sara to the air and we’re flying toward the entrance of the facility.

"Princess Shirley, be careful! I have checked a bit before and that door was built using the same material as the material used for the Magic Restricting Collar. Magic still work on it, but when we touch that door, we can’t use magic anymore. Also, we don’t know what other things inside the building that was made by using the same material," Sara said.

"Then I just have to keep us both flying while making sure that we won’t touch anything. And Roy will—"

"I will run around and see what other place built using the same material, right? I understand. Though you shouldn’t call out my name even though we’re far from the enemies right now," I said.

"It’s fine. I blocked our surrounding with wind magic. I’m sure that no one heard it. It’s great that we’re on the same page. Thinking of the same plan at the same time. As expected of my brother," Shirley said.

"I think that’s even worse than calling my name. If someone heard it, the cult will think that Albert is the Aura user they are looking for. I think getting found that I’m the Aura user is better than the cult thinking that Albert is the Aura user," I said.

"Hmm... you’re right. I’ll just refrain from calling you at all if possible then," Shirley said.
