The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 932: Trapped Inside an Earth Dome

Chapter 932: Trapped Inside an Earth Dome

"You might overpower me, but we still have number!" the Archbishop said as he brandished his staff.

It’s nearly impossible for him to be able to win against me in a melee battle. So even if he had that staff, he needs a lot of effort just to kill me. Though he’s right that he’s winning in number.

But at least he’s not that strong. Just one hit from above and I could see his feet sunk down a bit to the ground. I’m still stronger thanks to my daily training and the fact that I’m a master level summoner.

Though I can’t use any magic since I need to preserve it. But he doesn’t seem to be holding back at casting any magic at all.

Now that he gained some distance from me, He cast magic to try to kill me and even his own allies who were near me. Which I gladly grab them and use them to block the Archbishop’s magic.

"You might be right that you have more in numbers. But don’t forget that I’m also not alone!" I shouted.

A huge shadow covered the Archbishop. He’s right in front of the Ice Dragon King’s son, Cooldra. And Cooldra swung down his claw at the Archbishop.

With his strength and his weight, Cooldra is stronger than me when I don’t use Aura. Even if the Archbishop managed to block Cooldra’s attack, it was too heavy for him. I’m sure that he won’t be able to receive several more of that heavy attack or he will break his legs.

But still, that Etherstone or something that was used as a material for that staff, it sure is strong.

The staff is just about one meter in length. It’s about the same length as my cane-sword. And it’s not that thick either. So the fact that it can not only be cut by my sword, but also endure Cooldra’s attack, it means that Etherstone is not just about blocking Aura. But it is also a very strong material.

If that thing’s effect to block Aura can be erased, then I want our Blacksmith to craft me a weapon with that thing. If the effect is unable to be erased, then it’s impossible for me to wield it.

’Shelia, you still good?’ I asked Shelia mid-battle via telepathy.

"I can still fight!"

I guess she’s too focused on the battle that she didn’t even use telepathy to communicate with me. Even if she’s in a battle, she should have gotten used to communicate using telepathy. But I guess she’s way too excited right now.

’As you’ve heard from the shout before, I became the main target now. And he is much more difficult to capture than expected. So I need someone to watch my back,’ I said.

By this time, Shelia has calmed down a bit and able to communicate via telepathy.

’Why don’t you summon Graham or Crabbe?’ Shelia asked.

’Their side are doing fine, but those two are too important over there to leave. So I need your help. Also, many of the enemies will be chasing after me. So I need the strongest one here to watch my back as I make my move toward the Archbishop,’ I said.

In this battlefield, the werewolves are too busy. But if it’s just Shelia, then I’m sure it will be fine. So I want her to watch my back as I charge toward the Archbishop who is now being protected by the others. They even blocked my path toward him. Though that means Cooldra could get to where he is. But the Archbishop helped with some other master level mages are still too strong.

Shelia finally arrived behind me. So now, I just need to focus on what’s in front of me.

But then, a huge dome covered us and a lot of the people here. We’re being trappedd inside an Earth Dome created by some master level earth mages.

I can destroy the wall, but I’m right in the middle of the wall. So it will take some time until I can reach the Archbishop.

"I hope Cooldra and Veronica can hold the Archbishop so he won’t be able to escape. Shelia, just go wild and ignore me. Everyone inside this dome other than you and I are enemies," I said.

I observed everyone in the dome to see if there’s any single member of our army to be here. But seems like no one else other than us two.

The enemy might be thinking that it’s good that I’m trapped here with them. But that’s not the case at all for anyone on our side. Because they knew that it actually helped them instead.

For Veronica and the others on the other side, they must be thinking that with so many people trapped inside the dome, there are less enemies on the outside. And they can help Cooldra fight the Archbishop and the other few master level mages while leaving me and Shelia to take care of everything here.

There’s no need to tell them what to do. Because I can see them using my Divine Vision, and they are working together to capture the Archbishop and kill as many enemy as possible. They are completely ignoring us.

"With this dome, you won’t be able to ask for help!" one of the mage who built this dome shouted.

"That’s—"

Before I could finish, Shelia interrupted me.

"That’s perfect! Now, none of you can escape!"

Shelia then slashed her claws at the closest mages and kill them. Then utilizing her speed, she dodged and slashed as many as possible.

We might be inside a dome. And it’s dark. But neither of us had problem with the dark.

Shelia is a werewolf. Her senses, especially her nose, can tell who is the enemy and where they are. And I have Divine Vision that has night-vision as well.

As for the mages, they seem to be using their magic detection to sense where we are. None of them seem stupid enough to cast light magic or fire magic without thinking. Though they still cast some fire magic. But that only when they’re attacking us.

However, they ended up becoming stupid after learning that the dark and this cage meant nothing to us. Some cast light magic. But that only blinded the others here while we’re doing fine.

Well, I can’t say the same with Shelia. She was blinded by the light. But after that, she was just fighting with her eyes closed as she attacked everyone near her.

The fight in the dome created two sides. One side where everyone is fighting me, and the other side where everyone is fighting Shelia.

’Shelia! Swap side with me!’ I instructed Shelia via telepathy.

We returned back to the middle of the dome with full speed. Now everyone is either chasing me from behind, or chasing Shelia. They’re all going to the middle of the dome. With Shelia and I running to the middle at full speed.

And when we crossed our path, Shelia jumped. Then I used the cane on my left hand and place it under Shelia’s feet for landing. After that, I swung the cane as strong as possible to accelerate Shelia’s speed before I return to face the enemies who were chasing after Shelia.

As for Shelia, after I threw her, she spun herself with her claws in front of her facing the enemies. It’s as if watching a huge drill breaking through a large number of people. She’s great as usual.

Our teamwork is much better than their teamwork. Though we fought on our own more instead. But when we worked together, nothing can stop us.

By this time, they realized that they’re no match against us even though we didn’t use any magic. But they’re all people who are ready to die. So they risked their lives by holding us back as long as possible, while some others tried to use their most powerful magic on us.

Of course that didn’t work on us who have much higher physical strength than anyone else. But it doesn’t mean that we could stop their powerful magic.

Someone finally managed to cast powerful fire magic in this closed space. While some earth mages reinforced the dome so it won’t break with the fire spreading inside.

I’m not wearing the fishnet stocking now so I will die when the fire is spreading.

’Shelia, hold your breath for as long as possible!’ I said to Shelia.

The fire was so strong that a lot of the master level mages here died from it. The other fire mages also helped with increasing the fire.

I can’t use magic for too long because I have to go to the valley again. So Shelia and I have to endure it inside this dome.

One by one, the master level mages were dying. Even the earth mages who were busy reinforcing the dome, and the fire mage who cast this fire.

Shelia and I meet up before we dug up a hole in the ground for us to hide. We dug a small hole just for us two to hug together inside while still able to cover up the hole with some dirt so the fire won’t get to us.

’I can’t use magic much anymore, so just hold your breathe for a while. We either leave here after everyone dies, or when the earth mages reinforcing the dome are all dead. If they all died, we have to quickly go over to the wall, destroy the wall, and leave this dome,’ I said.

Since we can’t waste our breathe, I just speak to her via telepathy. And she just nodded.

Now, we wait inside this burning dome. As for those outside, they are still unable to capture the Archbishop.

Damn, he’s so persistent. I guess I have to be the one capturing him.
