The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 1139: Stopping the Children

Chapter 1139: Stopping the Children

"How’s the situation?"

As soon as we arrive in the royal palace of Tatrama, Albert asked the Prime Minister about the situation. I think Albert introduced him to me before. His name is... whatever.

"They haven’t entered the capital yet. But we made sure that all civilians have been evacuated to a safe place. Only soldiers, agents, and hunters are still outside preparing to fight. Though some hunters actually pretended to be civilians so they joined the evacuation," the Prime Minister said.

"I see. What about the security in the evacuation center?" Albert asked.

"At least in each of them, we have one master level mage and several expert level mages. Even if anyone is thinking of doing something bad, they can do something about it," the Prime Minister said.

"That’s good enough. So the fight is still outside of the capital. Get some master level soldiers to stay behind to protect the capital. The rest will go out and fight the invaders. I’m sorry but for those who are staying behind, the security of the capital is of most importance. So only those who are ready to kill children will stay behind. The rest will go out and I hope you will try your best to stop those kids so we can find a way to recover them back to how they should be," Albert said.

Oh, I thought that only those who are prepared to kill children will be send out. But I guess he’s right. The safety of the capital is number one. So only those who are ready to kill anyone will stay behind.

"Randy, I want you to lead the safety of the capital. You will stay behind. The rest can decide on their own what they want to do. If you don’t want to fight, just leave," Albert said.

We know that the enemies are children. So many of us will be hesitant to fight. That’s why Albert repeated what I said before.

As for Randy, his dedication to his duty is unquestionable. So Albert knows that Randy will kill even children if he has to. That’s why he will take charge of the security of the capital.

As for me, I’m ready to fight.

"Should I call the monsters here?" I asked Albert.

"You decide," Albert said.

"Just so you know, the monsters in my kingdom don’t have any sympathy toward children. Even if they have intellect and can interact, most of them will kill kids if they know that those kids are enemies. If I get them all here, then you don’t have to worry about those invaders as we will kill all of them," I said.

"Hmm... then refrain from summoning them as much as possible. Even if I don’t participate in the fight myself, I’m reluctant to have those children die. Summon them if we don’t have any choice," Albert said.

"The cult is most likely thinking that we will be hesitant in fighting children. That’s why they are sending those children. Once they learn that we will hold back against them, they will send more children. Remember that they have a huge city with over a million populations. It means that they have a lot of children as well. Maybe more children than the entire population of that city," I said.

"Sigh... I know. That only makes me angrier at them. We should really have actively searching for them before they could do all these dangerous stunts to children," Albert said.

After everyone is ready, we leave the palace. The street is empty. No one is there. Though we see some people trying to use this chance to rob a store. But the security guards of the capital are not someone to be underestimated.

I can’t summon Shelia and the other two. But if it’s just Ray, I could. As for Victoria, she’s somehow still in Arturo with Fabio and Maya. I forgot to summon her here and she’s been sending telepathic messages to me.

’Just stay there for a little longer. I’ll call you when I need you. We don’t know if it’s just a distraction or not. They might even be thinking of attacking Arturo right now. Let’s see what they’re planning,’ I said.

’Fine, I’ll stay,’ Victoria gave up on coming here after I told her that.

Now it’s time to fight.

"Huh? Ray, are you getting faster?"

Ray is running faster than usual. It has been a while since I’m riding him so it feels different. But riding him is still comfortable.

I only hear neighs from him so I don’t know. But it seems like he’s doing his own training.

"Are you doing your own training because you don’t want to lose against Spot? That’s great. Show me the result of your training then."

A soon as I said that, Spots galloped and run even faster than before. He’s much faster than Spot. But he’s still lagging behind Pawzer.

"Seems like it won’t be long until you can surpass Pawzer’s speed. This is great! Let’s go!"

We’re much faster than before. Much faster than master level wind mages. With this, I can attack my enemies easily.

Well, the enemies are children though. Bald children who are getting closer to the capital. But I will stop them.

"Hey, kids! It’s bedtime for you!"

With Ray’s speed, I can’t speak because of the wind pressure. But I use air magic to block the wind pressure and talk to all the enemies.

From there, with Ray’s extreme speed, I had a Blobbygun in my right hand. The Blobbybullets are filled with sleeping gas. I’m pretty sure they won’t be able to resist sleeping.

In the end, they are still children. And they were forced to awaken at early age. So unlike ordinary mages, their magic resistance should be weaker than usual. That’s what we learn from the mohawks children before. Though it was after we no longer have to fight them.

Now, we’re using this knowledge to our advantage. Shooting at their mouth or even their nose with Blobbybullet and as soon as the bullet entered, the Blobbies will disappear. Only the sleeping gas entered their body and they will be forced to sleep.

That will be my plan to stop these children.

If I fail to make the Blobbies disappeared at the right time, the kids might die from being shot. So I have to make sure I get it right.

The first target. A kid who might be ten years old. I shot a BLobbybullet into his nose. And as soon as the bullet entered his nose, I made the Blobbies disappeared.

The air pressure from inside the Blobbybullet should still be felt by the kid. But at most, it will just knock his head back.

And the sleeping gas is spread into his lung. His movement becomes slower and finally, he fell asleep.

It works. But I have to be careful not to make the Blobbies disappear too soon or too early.

It’s good that Victoria left me a lot of Blobbies today. It was supposed to protect Fabio during his wedding. But I used it to put children to sleep instead.

"Put this handcuff on him and this collar as well. Take him somewhere safe before you go back to fighting again," I said to the guy that kid was fighting before.

I continue doing it to other children. Then I got a call from Albert.

"Roy, the hunters in the capital refused to stay behind and wait. They want to fight. What should we do?" Albert asked.

"Why are you asking me? You’re smarter than me!"

"Then I’ll let them leave. Is that okay?" Albert asked.

"Just tell them that if they become a hindrance, they should just stay behind!"

"That is why I’m calling you first. Don’t kill the hunters mindlessly, okay?"

Then he hung up. Seems like we will have unneeded reinforcement coming. I really hope they won’t be hindrances.

Well, this is still quite far from the capital. I think they will only arrive here in an hour or so even if they are wind mages.

Still, there are more children than I thought coming from the enemy’s side. This is getting annoying.

And it doesn’t just annoy me. It annoys everyone as well. Including Angela.

"Just be god children and listen to the adults here!"

She was so angry that she created a huge dome to cage the children inside. And that’s not all.

The dome is very strong. Even those bald children are not strong enough to destroy the dome with their magic. And Angela actually put them in a different cell inside the dome. She made sure that the kids won’t be able to escape.

There are a few holes in the dome but that’s for the kids to be able to breathe. Even the kids who are targeting the holes unable to make it bigger. Angela’s magic is insane as usual.

How many of the kids she captured? A few hundreds perhaps. She’s crazy.

And the dome doesn’t need her magic to stay! Angela moves to a different location and do the same while the previous dome still standing strong.

...Am I needed here?

Well, at least it’s good that Angela is crazy strong. We can take care of this easily with her by our side.

It’s really worth it to let her focus on cultivation for so long. She is the best!
