Chapter 1134: Night Before Wedding

Tomorrow is finally the day of the wedding. And I brought Fabio to Cassau for what Kron decided as bachelor party.

Kron was close with Fabio as well so he thought that it would be good to have a bachelor party. Though I don’t know much about it.

Kron told me to invite Albert, Toni, Randy, and some other men who are close in age with Fabio. And once we gather, we will get Fabio here.

Fabio shouldn’t be working right now. So it’s fine to have fun the whole night until his wedding tomorrow. And he doesn’t know that we’re preparing a party for him.

Though I know nothing about how we should party. Isn’t it just eating, talking, and playing? What’s the difference between a bachelor party and the usual party? Though I rarely got invited to a normal party either.

Kron has a lot of friends since he travels a lot all over the continent. And he has a lot of friends who got married as well. So he knows what to do.

But will everyone enjoy it? After all, they are nobles and royalties. Well, I’ll just trust Kron. The others are interested in it so they want to join.

We even got Maya’s approval. She will make sure that Fabio doesn’t have a job tonight. And Maya herself will be hanging out with the girls. She still has a lot to learn from Marie, Carmen, and the others. And it’s good for the other girls to learn about what to expect in marriage as well. I will marry some of them in the future after all. Only once the cult is gone.

Though they won’t be Queens. But they will still be my Queens.

Wait, I forgot. I’m the King of monsters. Will that make them the Queens of monsters? I hope they don’t mind it.

Victoria is with them as well. So tonight, it will be just us boys.

And when the night comes, it’s time to move.

I opened a portal to Fabio’s office. Seems like he’s still working even though he shouldn’t be.

"Oh, Roy. What is it?" Fabio asked.

"It’s an abduction," I said.

I quickly tied him up using Blobbyropes. He’s strong since he’s a master level fire mage. So I had to use Aura a bit to make sure he can’t escape.

"What is this?!" Fabio asked.

"I don’t know. Ask Kron about this later," I said.

Then from the other side of the portal, Kron, Albert, and even Toni who was already there is waving and inviting Fabio to come in. They’re disguising themselves by wearing clothes that make them seen as hunters.

I carried Fabio into the portal and then close the portal before opening a new one. This one is going to Maya’s place where Maya and Carmen are already waiting.

"Then we’ll be going as well," Victoria said.

She’s in her human form. And the other girls also entered the portal to go to Maya’s place. They will have their own fun time. And we will have ours.

"Maya? What is this?" Fabio asked Maya who is on the other side of the portal.

"It’s a party. They’ll return you before the wedding. Make sure you keep the gecko with you at all times," Maya said.

Then I close the portal. Now it’s just us men here. Except for Penny and Lina who is taking care of the house.

Though we won’t stay here. We will go out and have fun in a pub somewhere. That’s what Kron said.

"For now, go get changed into this. You are now just an ordinary hunter who is about to get married. And we’re having a party to celebrate your last day as an unmarried man," Kron said.

"Party?"

And so Fabio was forced to get changed. While I prepare to leave. The destination is in Consenza.

In Consenza, there are Lynn, Claudia, and Celestine. At least we only know those three best in the Empire. We don’t know much about other people there.

And they are all girls. They’re all having fun with Maya right now so they’re not there.

Which means there shouldn’t be anyone who recognizes us there. Well, I’m not that famous. Maybe some will remember me as Clarence more than as Roy. And other people will only recognize Kron since he’s well-known.

Now we’re all ready. We really just look like a bunch of hunters now. And I opened a portal to a safehouse in Consenza. Not in the capital. So there’s really no one who knows us.

"You should have told me it’s just a bachelor party. I was shocked when Roy abducted me. There’s no way I can fight back, you know?" Fabio said.

"You’ve been to one? I have never been to any before," Albert said.

"Even I don’t know that. Do you even have any friends who do party like this?" Toni asked.

"Of course I did. Remember when father was swapped? I pretend to be dead and act as a gatekeeper. I made friend with some of them and got invited to one. Before, they were guarding the gate to the capital. Because of their relationship with me, they are now the gatekeeper of the royal palace. They’re one of the few people I trust outside of the alliance and I even told them about how I faked my identity. They’re still good friends of mine now. Though we rarely have a chance to talk because I’m a King and they’re just gatekeepers," Fabio said.

"You should have told me sooner. I’ll go back there and invite them. They’re your friends," I said.

So I asked Fabio their names and picked them up. Or should I say kidnapped them?

Fabio told me that they should have known about me so they were not surprised about the portal. They’re more surprised that they got kidnapped.

I got someone to take over their shift before abducting them. Now we’re waiting for them to get changed.

After that, we go into bar and have fun. Then we go into another bar and have more fun.

Everyone is enjoying it. Though we don’t really do anything other than eating and drinking.

...And fighting. We got into a fight in a pub.

There are two groups. Us and the other people. They were also celebrating something.

We’re too loud. They’re loud as well. So we ended up in a fistfight. And it was Kron who started it.

Even Albert and Toni who are not strong joined the fight. They hit the other party and got hit more. As for me, I just stand there and not doing anything. It will be much worse if I joined. Though some were attacking me but I ignored them. Their punches won’t be enough to even damage me.

In the end, we became friends this night. We are eating and drinking together after a fistfight.

And they all sleep in the pub. With only me and the owner of the shop still sober.

"...It’s a mess. How will you clean this up?" he asked.

"Sigh... don’t tell anyone," I said.

Then I leave the pub and return with some soldiers of Consenza. They’re all master level mages.

Seeing the King of Arturo and the King of Tatrama sleeping on the floor, the soldiers’ minds in a mess.

"Just take care of the cleanup. Send the bill to me later," I said.

Then I woke Kron up. At least him alone. To settle with the other party.

While he’s talking with them, I carried the rest out of the pub. Secretly returning them back to Cassau where they can have better sleep.

Kron also returned soon after. It’s early in the morning and the wedding is in a few hours.

"...No way we can have the groom covered in bruises in his wedding, right?" I said.

So I summoned Graham to heal everyone. They wake up soon after feeling refreshed.

"Did you all have a blast?" I asked.

"Well, that was fun. We got closer to them after a fight. Where are they now?" Fabio asked.

"Still there somewhere. If you’re lucky you will meet again. Now that you all have recovered, it’s time to go back to Arturo. Fabio, it’s your wedding day," I said.

I brought them all back to Arturo. Then I ask Victoria about the girls’ side.

The girls didn’t sleep at all the whole night. So Kayla had to use healing magic to recover their stamina as well. Seems like they also had a great night.

Once in Arturo, everyone is taking care of their own preparation. But for me, it’s time to scout the area.

The security has been enhanced. But that doesn’t mean the cult doesn’t have a way to infiltrate.

The most dangerous position would be in the party. All Kings and Queens will be gathering there. But that should be the safest because Angela is there. She’s invited there as the champion of the tournament. Though we still haven’t prepared for the second tournament. So she’s still the reigning champion.

Now, we wait and protect. That’s what we planned to do today.
