Chapter 1132: Extreme Muscle Training

In an empty island in the Monsters World, I have gathered several small monsters. This is where I gather them after capturing them.

It’s not easy to capture them. They are small. And some of them are strong. But none of them are smart.

In this small island, I also made sure that the monsters won’t fight each other. At least until Maya picked one from them. So I had to make fences to separate those who can’t get along with each other.

"Now it feels like a pet store. A pet store for unique animals. Or should I say monsters?" Victoria said.

"It does look like one. Well, before the wedding, I’ll get Fabio and Maya here. They both can decide Maya’s next familiar together," I said.

"Make sure those insect type monster are separate. I don’t think Maya will pick any one of them," Victoria said.

"I know. But won’t the familiar be with Fabio most of the time? He can decide it together with Maya," I said.

It has been a few days since we started looking for small monsters. I think we have done enough. We’re just here today to feed the monsters so they won’t die.

It’s also to help us to gain understanding what monsters eat what. The carnivores and the herbivores are separated.

After a few days, my senses are becoming better. When I enhance them with my Aura, they became more sensitive.

I can see farther. But unlike Divine Vision, I can’t see through any objects. That’s fine though. My eyes seem to be just slightly worse than the elves’ eyesight. My hearing as well.

Now I can hear almost every move that the small monsters here are making. I can deduct where they are and hear them. Though I can’t tell what they’re doing by just hearing them. That is fine.

My nose is slowly able to differentiate the smell between different individuals. It’s interesting to smell the scent of different people. But it’s kind of weird as well. Candy complained about how it makes me seem like a pervert to smell her scent.

Well, it’s good that when I don’t use Aura, I still have my normal sense of smell. So it’s not like I’m a pervert all the time.

By the way, it was Kayla who has the most calming scent. And it was Sophie who has the most familiar scent. I guess it’s because she’s in the hospital most of the time. So I smelt something familiar from her since she’s there most of the time.

As for my sense of touch, I became more sensitive when I use Aura. It’s not bad, but I don’t know I there’s any advantage with it or not. Because my instinct from all my fighting experience can be trusted more than sensing the movement of the wind created by someone’s movement.

As for sense of taste, the delicious food becomes more delicious. It’s not useful in a fight.

I’m still not as good as the elves in my sight and hearing, and not as good as the werewolves in my sense of smell. But I think I’m already way past the limit of human beings.

And now that I have gathered enough small monsters for Maya and Fabio to see, I think it’s time to get some real training. To be stronger and faster. Just getting the basic improved will make me even stronger than I am now.

I have been thinking that I have reached my limit in my strength for a long time. I have never gotten any stronger. But now, I have to focus on training again. I have to think that I will get even stronger than this.

And what is better in increasing your strength other than muscle training?

From now, I will train without using Aura. And I will have Victoria covers my body and change her weight to the heaviest. This should help me be stronger.

"This is... a pretty normal training. But I guess this is the most normal way to get stronger," Victoria said.

"Oh, make yourself into an armor. So it will be even harder for me to move," I said.

And so, I wore Victoriarmor after a long time. Running through a forest in the Monsters World to increase my stamina and speed.

Well, if I could. Now I have Victoria with her heaviest weight and I don’t use Aura. So it’s not running. It’s not even walking. I’m just putting my foot ahead the other after a long pause.

"Now... this... is... training!"

My magic level as a master level summoner didn’t help me much with this weight. So this is a good training.

While walking very slowly, I encountered a giant boar that sees me as its prey. I tried my best to lift my sword.

The boar charged at me. And I stand still because I can’t move my body well. So I had to rely on my strength to not move my body at all from this spot.

The boar is getting closer. And I just aimed my sword to let the boar pierced its own body at my sword.

I endure the extra weight added on my body because of the boar’s charge. And I accidentally used Aura so I ended up cutting the boar in two.

"...Damn. Now I have relied on my Aura too much that I can automatically activate it," I said.

"You already did well stabbing the boar. But I guess this should be your training. You are already much better than those fighters from the cult who can fight using Etherstone weapons. But just against a boar and you need to use Aura. I guess your next training will involve you to efficiently use Aura," Victoria said.

"You’re right. Once again, I need you to be my master. Though I’m already way stronger than you back when you’re alive," I said.

Stronger, faster, and more efficient way to use Aura. If I want others to be able to use my Aura when I share it with them, I have to be able to control the use of my Aura so I won’t spend too much on a single action.

And so, I spend the next few days training my body and the use of Aura again. I even tried to spar with Shelia. I sparred with her without using Aura. Though I didn’t have Victoria covering my body when I fought her.

The result was obvious. I lost. But Shelia won’t accept her victory if I didn’t use my full strength. Which was great because it means that I’m still the King of the Monsters.

She understood that I’m doing this to get stronger. But she had me promise her to fight for real next time.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m an Aura Master or if it’s genetic. But I grew much stronger in just a few days. Now I can walk wearing the heavy Victoriarmor.

I fought with the armor. And I learned that I don’t have to actively attack my opponents. I can play it slow and wait for the opportune moments to strike. I just need a single move to defeat my enemy.

With this, I won’t have to use too much stamina and Aura to fight. This will be good if the enemies are surrounding me.

Well, if they’re mages, I can’t use this tactic. They will only attack me from far. So it’s no completely useful. But if the opponents are monsters, then it will be good.

The most important thing is the efficiency of my stamina and Aura. I now don’t have to use too much of them I the same move like I did before.

The wedding day is next week. All the other kings have prepared a fake carriage to make it seems like they are moving by carriages. But they are still in their country. I will transport them the morning of the day of their wedding.

And so, it’s about time for me to bring Maya and Fabio here. So I told them when they will be free.

"Actually, we will be busier for a while since the wedding day is in sight. But we’ll contact you when we’re free," Fabio said.

"I’ll go with Fabio. It’s something we need to decide together after all," Maya said.

Well, I guess they won’t be coming today. That’s fine. I’ll wait.

Meanwhile, Jewel is also interested in the monsters I prepared for Maya. When I brought her to the island, she instantly told me to not show the insect-type monsters to Maya.

"She won’t pick them. Don’t bother showing them to Maya," Jewel said.

"I think Fabio will like it though," I said.

"Even so, Maya is the one who will be the master. There’s no way she’s going to make an insect as her familiar. Even if she will, think about how other people will think when Maya give her husband, the King of Arturo, an insect. It’s actually surprising that Victoria didn’t remind you about this," Jewel said.
