Chapter 1124: Finally Home
The destruction caused by Angela is great. After using a few magic, more than half of the city is destroyed. And a lot of people died.
"Seems like it will be faster if we just send you to raid a base on your own instead of together with someone. Because just you alone can cause this much destruction. If we let you go wild without having to care about other people, then you can kill as much as you want," I said.
"Yeah. But I don’t want to kill. It’s just something I need to do. They are enemies. So they have to die," Angela said.
"Good to know that you’re thinking that way. Oh, a group of people is escaping to the same direction. There might be another base where they are heading to. Victoria, make sure that you remember where they’re going," I said.
"What about me?" Angela asked.
"If you think that you’re done already then let’s go back. We can come back here another time," I said.
"There are still some people here. I’ll kill them first," she said.
"Then I’ll get some who are trying to escape. I’ll also capture some of them for interrogation."
And I run on my own chasing those who are trying to escape. They are not faster than me so it was not hard to get to them.
After watching Angela fights, I learned something. Whenever she uses a rather powerful magic, my Divine Vision became almost unusable. Just because she’s using magic. The mana is concentrated to her magic so I can’t see through her magic.
It’s not that bad, but it’s best if I can improve my Divine Vision. I want to make it better so even if we’re inside an unexplored dungeon, I can still see well as much as when I’m outside.
But how do I do that? How do I train my Divine Vision?
Defeating more All-seeing Eyes? I have done that before. But does it mean that I need to do more?
I just need to improve my Divine Vision to see unobstructed in a place concentrated with mana. But how?
Is it something that I can get used to as long as I’m in a place concentrated with mana all the time? I don’t think so. Because even in the pyramid dungeon, after raiding there for a while, there’s nothing changed with my Divine Vision.
Then I guess I don’t need to use my Divine Vision in a place concentrated with mana. In there, I just need to improve all my senses using Aura. Though I won’t be able to see through an object, it’s still better than not being able to see far.
Now while Angela is killing some surviving cult members in the city, I’m far from her to kill escaping cult members. I can see well with my Divine Vision. But let’s just train to improve my senses without using Divine Vision. I’ll just enhance my senses with Aura.
I can’t see too far, but my vision is better than usual. Let’s try to improve this as I fight.
I can’t see from behind me. But the feeling when the wind touches my skin from the back, my hearing, and even my sense of smell can help me discover enemies from behind.
I can’t see nor hear better than the elves. My sense of smell is not as good as the werewolves or the weretigers. As my sense of touch, I don’t know who has more sensitive skin. But combining them all, I can pretty much sense my surrounding better.
As for sense of taste, there’s no need to improve it. Or maybe I should? Maybe by improving all my five senses will make me even stronger rather than just four of them?
I’ll just increase my sense of taste later when I’m eating.
Soon after, I stop fighting. Because there are no more enemies here. All the surviving people managed to escape. But it doesn’t matter.
"Victoria, you remember where those people who escaped are running to, right?" I asked Victoria who is by my side now. I don’t need to use telepathy with her near.
"There are at least three groups rushing toward three different directions. The rest are too spread apart that I don’t know if they’re going to another base or it’s just because they’re afraid," she said.
"That’s good enough. We have other problem to take care after this. Just make sure to not forget that," I said.
"Even if we forget about it, you can just ask the Spirit King to read your memory. He can show it to you so you can remember it even with your damaged brain," Victoria said.
"I can’t just ask him for every little thing. Just by having a place for the soldiers to reach master level is good enough. We can’t annoy him too much with every little thing," I said.
The Spirit King is really helpful to us. So I don’t want him to feel burdened by our requests. That’s why if possible I don’t want to ask him for anything more other than for letting people to reach master level in the Spirit Mountain.
"I’m done over there. Should I chase after them?"
Angela has done killing the surviving cult members in the city. Now she’s with me asking if she should chase after the rest.
"No need. I think we’re done here. Let’s go back to Cassau. It’s been so long and everyone misses you," I said.
Then I opened a portal back to Cassau and we finally returned home. And I instantly asked Lina for food. Eating as much as I could while trying to increase my sense of taste with Aura.
Now I can taste the different ingredient Lina used for the meal. And the delicious food became even more delicious. Though I still don’t know if this can be used in a fight or not.
Angela also shoved her mouth with the delicious food. As for the others, as soon as we returned and they saw Angela, they retreated to their room and finally get a proper rest.
"What do we do after this?" Angela asked for our future plan.
"In a few weeks, it will be Fabio’s wedding. We will either gather there to congratulate him while protecting everyone attending the wedding or we will be spread to different locations to protect other cities. But before that, I will meet the Kaiser Whale and have a chat with him. To see if he can join us like Andro or not," I said.
"So the powerful giant creature other than Andro that I sensed while breaking through was the Kaiser Whale. It will be great if the Kaiser Whale joined us, right?"
...That is amazing. Not only did she remember everything I said to her, she also could sense Andro and the Kaiser Whale by their mana. She’s becoming even much stronger than before.

"Sure. Let’s go after we finish our meal," she said.
So we decided to go on a date for the rest of the day. Going shopping and... I think that’s the only thing we do on dates. We really need another form of entertainment other than gambling. Because Angela doesn’t really enjoy gambling.
I’ll ask Victoria what entertainment we can enjoy in this world that she can share. Then I’ll try to spread it. I’m rich and I know someone who knows a lot of people.
During our date, we just enjoyed our time together. She didn’t ask me for a fight and I never bother to talk about it. We just enjoyed being together shopping for stuffs that we might not even use at all.
And when we returned back to Cassau, everyone is already awake. But now I’m the one who wants to sleep. However, Angela is still fine.
Some girls decided to challenge Angela for a fight. To see how strong she has become. Even after I told them how she could kill more than half the population of a city on her own, they still want to challenge her.
"Sure. I also want to see how strong I am compared to before," Angela said.
Though she can’t use her full power against us now. So it’s not like she will be able to see how strong she is.
"Don’t fight too hard. I don’t want any of you to get injured. Kayla, you can go with them so you can heal them. This way, they can use more strength in the fight. But if you want to fight Angela, call me. I’ll get some angels to come and watch," I said.
So they all left somewhere to fight. I hope it’s somewhere far so no one here will be affected by the fight.
And I decided to sleep together with Lina and Sophie who had just returned home after a long surgery. I don’t always sleep with more than one woman at the same time. But this is nice.
