Chapter 1125: On Our Way to Meet the Kaiser Whale

The next day, I told the Kings about everything. From Angela’s reaching master level and how she destroyed a city with over a million populations with just a few magic.

The Kings were happy and shocked to hear that. A city with more than a million people, with a lot of master level mages living there, killed by a single girl. She’s scarier than I am to these Kings now.

"Roy, I’d like to say that now we have someone as strong as Angela that you are free to take a risk from now on and make a move on your own to the base of the cult whenever you want. Unfortunately, I can’t. In the end, Angela is still your lover and the one she’s following is you and not the alliance. And now I understand that even if we try to stop you, it would be nearly impossible. So next time you move on your own, at least make sure that Angela won’t be busy and she can move whenever we called her," Albert said.

As for the Kaiser Whale, I don’t know. But if I can’t convince him to join us, I’d rather have him stay at the bottom of the ocean for a long time. At least until the cult is completely gone," I said.

"That’s good enough. I’ll leave talking to the Kaiser Whale to you. When will you meet him?" old man Henry asked again.

"Not today. I have been away from home for a long time. Once I feel that I have taken enough rest, I will meet him," I said.

I asked Victoria if there’s any movement with the Blobby that I gave to the Kaiser Whale. She said that it hasn’t moved since it descended to the bottom of the sea. I hope the Kaiser Whale is okay.

"Right. You have done a lot. Not just by protecting Angela but also locating the cult’s base. With a population of over a million people but no sign of the Evil God, that place might be really close to where the main base is," old man Henry said.

"And we also have a problem. With a base without children, the children must have been brought somewhere else for either education or experiment. There should be a base filled with a lot of children. Just by that fact alone will make everyone hesitates to fight. And those children could have been brainwashed so we can’t help them. Let’s think of what we should do with them," Albert said.

I suggested that once we found the place filled with children to lock the base down to make sure that no one escaped from there until they reach adulthood. Then we can kill them without hesitation.

Obviously, my idea was rejected. Too barbaric they said.

"For now, we will continue searching for mages with element that can manipulate people’s mind just like the magic that King Henry’s friend can do. Unfortunately, he’s too old and he has very low chance of increasing his level to have longer lifespan. So we have to look for another person and made them to be his disciple," Albert suggested.

Right, I forgot about him. He’s the guy who erased the brainwashing magic on people who were experimented. But if the brainwashing is through education and not magic, he can’t erase the brainwashing. But instead, he can help by brainwash the children to have different way of thinking than what they were educated to do.

After the meeting was over, I returned back home to get more rest and date with the girls.

After a few days, it’s time to meet the Kaiser Whale again.

"Victoria, can you sense the closest Blobby to the Kaiser Whale?" I asked.

"The previous island is actually quite far from where he is. But that’s the closest island from there. Oh, wait. Andro is flying near that island. I think it’s best if you just get to Andro’s location and tell him to fly over to where the Kaiser Whale is. You can also mark an island near that place so you can go there whenever you want without Andro’s help," Victoria said.

Since we found the Kaiser Whale, the Crab People and the serpents who were looking for him have returned back to the village.

We have several new members of the village. Now a lot of them don’t believe that I’m the King of the monsters. So I will have to make sure that they realized it with their heart and soul that I’m the strongest there. But I will do that later after meeting with the Kaiser Whale.

I just told Shelia to inform Red who is in charge of the village to expand the village. This way, more monsters can live there.

And I told them to expand it closer to the sea. This way, the sea monsters and probably even the Kaiser Whale can have easier access to the village from the sea.

I used portal to move to Andro’s head and asked for his help to go to near the Kaiser Whale.

"You’re going to meet him now?" Andro asked.

"Yes. We have no transfer point near where he is. So I need your help if you can," I said.

"Sure. I’ll do it. This time, try asking him to swim in a straight line with the same pace as my flying speed so I can talk to him as well," Andro said.

"You have something to ask him?" I asked.

"Not really. But now that I know that I will die soon, I want to have a chat with someone who have lived a long life with me," he said.

"You mean me?"

Just like usual, Pawzer appeared out of nowhere. His hearing and his eyesight are much better than me when I use Aura. And since he’s a half beast, his sense of smell is already great.

"Not you. But the Whale," Andro said.

Now that Pawzer is with us, I’d like to ask him how to improve my senses. So I can use this chance to also get stronger while we’re on our way to the Kaiser Whale’s location.

So until Victoria told us that the destination is just up ahead, I’ll try to improve my senses.

"Trying to improve your senses? Well, I don’t know. It’s just something that grew with me as I got stronger in the past. So I thought it’s natural," Pawzer said.

"So what did you do in the past?" I asked.

"Just the usual. Hunting others or protecting myself from those who tried to kill me. Then one day, I became faster than the others," he said.

"How long did it take for you to be suddenly that fast?"

"I think it take three hundred years or so," Pawzer said.

"...Then it’s not all of a sudden at all. It’s a gradual improvement."

I guess I can’t rely on him. But for now, I’ll try all his suggestion in how he became stronger.

"So when I fight, it’s obvious that knowing the opponent’s location is important. So I tried to smell it, see it, or hear it. Sometimes when the wind came from where it shouldn’t be, I felt it. It’s just like that for three hundred years and I became this strong," Pawzer said.

I can’t train for that long. But I can try doing what he did.

So I need to do the same and stop using Divine Vision at all times no matter how convenient it is. But that’s fine.

So on our way to meet the Kaiser Whale, I tried to locate Pawzer’s direction with my senses. He would hide somewhere on Andro’s back and I will locate him without using Divine Vision.

When he’s in front of me, I can find him with my sight enhanced with Aura. But when he’s a bit farther, I can’t see him.

I told him to let out a sound once in a while for me to hear him. The sound is not loud so it’s hard to locate him with my enhanced hearing.

As for the smell, it’s even harder. But I just tried it anyway.

So on the whole ride above the ocean, I keep failing my training. Will I be able to improve my senses by doing this? I don’t know. But I can only try.
