The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 1082: Skeleton Monsters

Chapter 1082: Skeleton Monsters

"Guys, let’s take a break here for now," I said.

We have reached the stairs leading down again. This is the fifth one today.

After the first floor we explored together, we have gotten used to fighting here. So our pace gotten faster since then. Especially since we focused more on searching for the stairs rather than exploring the entire area.

And before we reached the fourth floor, Georgia got tired after using her magic the whole time. While Crabbe, Shelia, and Ray were still fine. Graham didn’t do much and I don’t need to talk about Victoria.

And I think that Georgia has killed a lot of zombies in just the last few hours. I’m sure it won’t be long until she can help Maya reach advanced level. Maybe in about a month. Or maybe less.

But fighting all the time won’t be good for her. Although she has been modified because of the cult, she had never used that much magic in one day. So she can still get tired. That’s why I brought her back to the Monsters Village to rest. We will take care of the rest without her.

Then one day when the zombies here reappeared, I will have Georgia and Graham enter the dungeon again. Maybe the next time she came here, Maya can reach advanced level.

And also in the fourth floor, there are more zombies and normal monsters. And they’re much stronger than the three-headed dog. So when I saw that the others were in trouble, I decided to join.

Even when I join, it took us a while until we can reach here. To the stairs leading down.

Then I used air magic to make fresh air as we rest on the stairs. For some reason, we have never encountered any monster in the stairs. Only to the entrance or the exit of the stairs that we encountered them. It’s weird.

Shelia moved around a lot, but she’s not tired at all. Crabbe also not tired. In fact, if it’s just stamina and strength, I think Crabbe is better than even Shelia.

Since Graham didn’t do much until I returned Georgia, there’s no way he’s tired. And Ray could run for days without stopping. It’s only a few hours that he has run today. So he’s still fit to run for a long time.

"Hmm? The smell down there is not as bad as the smell from before. There’s no corpse down there?"

Shelia smelled the area downstairs. And she didn’t smell any corpses at all when all the enemies we fought before have bad smell.

But that’s not the case at all. I guess I can say that the monsters down there can be considered as undeads. Because they’re skeletons.

I didn’t see any living monster like before. Just skeleton monsters. From dragons to the skeleton I’m familiar with the most, humans.

Well, I’m a doctor. I have seen a lot of human skeletons even if it’s just the ones I saw in my past life.

As doctors, we had to learn everything about human bodies. Even if there are books for us to learn, we had to see skeleton with our own eyes so we can see what is what.

"Everyone, the next monsters we face won’t be zombies. But they can be considered as undeads as well. They’re skeleton monsters. From human skeletons to monster skeletons. No flesh. No organs. Not even a brain or a heart. Just bones. Maybe the way we defeated zombies before won’t be useful to fight them. Anyway, as soon as we get down there, let’s stick together and see if they are similar to the zombies or not," I said.

Maybe they don’t have the same weakness as the zombies. Well, I can only test so much with the party we have right now. Light magic, healing magic, and water magic.

Since they’re just skeletons, I don’t know if cutting their bodies will defeat them. Maybe it will if I destroy their skull or something.

"Won’t it just work if we destroy their heads?" Shelia asked.

"I wish it would. But we don’t know about that yet. Once we confirm that we can defeat the skeletons that way, you are free to roam on your own," I said.

"Hmm... I’ll just stick with you guys. If it’s just me alone, I will end up lowering my guards if I think I have defeated the enemies," Shelia said.

"Oh, it’s rare for you to be with us. But that’s nice. I think we have never really fought together even though you’re all my familiars. Let’s do that then. Also, I don’t think there’s another floor below the next one. So it will be the last floor. We don’t have to search for the stairs. But if we find anything suspicious, let’s check it out," I said.

After resting for a few more minutes, we move to the last floor.

And we’re greeted by a huge Bone Dragon. Even though it’s just a skeleton, it can still shoot fire breath at us.

I just casually block the fire with air magic. Then Shelia quickly attacked the dragon’s head.

The dragon head was so strong that even Shelia’s punch couldn’t destroy it in one hit. But by the third hit, it started to crack. And after a few more hits, the skull is finally destroyed.

"Is it done?"

As soon as Shelia said that, the bone pieces on the ground started moving by themselves. Then they started to gather up together and formed a dragon skull and attached itself to the body. And the Bone Dragon was resurrected just like that.

"Graham, try your healing magic. Then light magic. Then Crabbe will try his water magic," I said.

Graham uses his healing magic. But it doesn’t work on the skeleton. Maybe because it doesn’t have flesh like the zombies. So the Bone Dragon couldn’t feel pain.

Then Graham uses his light magic. It was quite effective. But even after the bones were destroyed to pieces again, the Bone Dragon got itself resurrected again.

I don’t think I need to mention it, but water magic doesn’t work. It’s just like a normal water magic. To the previous zombies and to the Bone Dragon as well.

I use my Divine Vision to check the bones. There’s nothing different about those bones. Just in case, I tried slashing at every single bone that the Bone Dragon has.

I’m sure I got all the bones destroyed. Even Shelia helped me. But the Bone Dragon got resurrected again.

"I don’t think the Bone Dragon is stronger than any of us. It’s just annoying that we can’t defeat it," I said.

"I haven’t tried it yet!"

Then Victoria slashed her sword at the Bone Dragon’s head. The sword pierced its skull. And the Bone Dragon didn’t move anymore after that.

And I finally found their weakness. It’s Aura. They are weak against Aura. And the skeleton monsters won’t be able to resurrect if they got defeated by an attack imbued with Aura.

But it sucks. Because I’m the only one who can fight them as much as I want.

Well, I can just share my Aura with the others then. They won’t be Aura users like me, but they can use Aura temporarily like Victoria.

"Alright, everyone. I’ll share my Aura with you. Then you can practice using Aura against the skeleton. Unless you don’t want to fight them since I can just fight them all alone," I said.

"""We’ll do it!"""

Damn. These three are already strong. If they can use Aura, they might be able to threaten me. Though since it’s my Aura that I share with them, I can made stop sharing it and they won’t be able to use Aura anymore. Unless they’re in direct contact with Ray.

Well, I think that’s fine. They’re my familiars. They won’t just suddenly attack me out of nowhere. I know their personalities.

And so, I touched them and share my Aura with them. Since Ray’s Aura is actually limited as seen from our previous battle, he will only be responsible to share his Aura with Victoria.

"First, feel that feeling in your body. Then focus it in one part of your body, like your fist or maybe your weapon so they will be imbued with Aura. Then all your attacks will have Aura in them. It’s best to focus in your whole body. But since you’re not really Aura users, you can just focus on a part of your body to fight. Just do it in a way that is suitable with your fighting style," I said.

Next we found a group of skeletons. It’s time to test these three monsters’ ability in handling Aura. Can they do it?

I can do it just fine with Victoria. And probably Sonia as well. But if I do it with Sonia, she might disappear instead.

I can do it with them because they were Aura users in the past. But these three monsters are not Aura users at all. They only know about Aura from me.

I have tried sharing Aura with Kron. He said that it’s fine to test it on him since he didn’t mind it even if he died. The result was disappointing because even though Kron felt something, he couldn’t use Aura at all.

For a first-timer, I guess they will need training. But what about monsters? They are already used to fight with their own body unlike mages. I hope they can use Aura well.
