The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 1081: With my Familiars and an Extra

Chapter 1081: With my Familiars and an Extra

"Alright, this time I will go with you guys. The dungeon has a lot of zombies. Don’t let any of them bite you or you will become one of them. Once you become a zombie, you won’t be able to come back as a living being anymore," I explained about the dungeon.

This time, I’m with my familiars.

Shelia was just returned back to the village after roaming around the Monsters World on her own. When I asked her if she wanted to come, she readily agreed. As expected of her.

Ray was obviously didn’t have anything to do so I brought him here. And of course Victoria will be riding her.

Crabbe was also taking a break together with the other Crab People in a small uninhabited island somewhere. They were still searching for the location of the Kaiser Whale but couldn’t find it after searching for so long. So they were resting.

I brought the rest back to the Monsters Village while Crabbe will be in the dungeon with me. Of course I asked him if he wanted to rest. But he said that he needed to train anyway since there were no strong monsters in the ocean that he had met so far.

Graham was with Georgia. So I brought both of them. Graham won’t do much here since this place is good for Georgia to defeat a lot of monsters. She can use light magic to defeat the zombies. Graham will focus more on healing.

And I will watch over them. I hope I can still improve my summoning level and reach the stage beyond master level. So I might need to let my familiars defeat more and more monsters.

"This place smells like rotten corpses," Shelia said.

"Of course it is. There are a lot of zombies here. And some are actually living monsters. But the zombies are a lot more than the living monsters. Though for some reason, zombies don’t attack living monsters here. Maybe they realized that the living monsters are not their enemies," I said.

So far, I haven’t seen any zombies attacking other monsters. Whether I was right that the zombies recognized the other monsters here as their allies or not, I don’t know. But maybe they only attack living humans. And they will attack living monsters when they are hungry. That’s why there are three-headed dog zombies as well. But they don’t seem to be stronger than the original. In fact, being a zombie only added more weakness.

"So the plan is... we’re not really good at this, aren’t we? Let’s just make it simple then. Shelia will go on her own. Just don’t leave so far. With your sense of smell, you should be able to gauge the distance even if this place is covered by the smell of corpses. Crabbe’s shell should be strong enough to not let any zombie pierce it with their teeth. Never release your shell armor. Victoria and Ray, maybe in the future we will fight a lot in narrow place like this. This place is big, but it’s still considered narrow for Ray who can move freely. Try to get used to moving in this place. As for Graham and Georgia, just let Georgia kill all the zombies with her light magic. If you don’t have any question, then we will move now. And Shelia, if you find any stairs leading down, return back immediately. You don’t have to go down on your own," I explained about my plan.

In the end, it’s just them fighting on their own. I will just watch them.

There were no questions. Everyone is ready. Even Crabbe has his armor on already. And just in case, Victoria covered Ray’s body with Blobbyarmor. This way Ray will be safe.

But isn’t Ray some kind of Abyss Horse? Shouldn’t he be fine with zombies?

"Ray, I know you lost a lot of your intellect but you still able to understand my order. So I’m going to ask you this. Will you be fine if you got bitten by zombies?" I asked.

Of course Ray didn’t say anything. But he nodded to tell me that he will be fine.

"That’s a relief. Then Victoria doesn’t have to cover his body. If you’re ready, let’s go down now," I said.

"Yeah!"

And Shelia rushed down on her own. I guess we will go to the other way she didn’t go to.

"Will we be looking for treasure chests?" Victoria asked.

"Only if I see any and if the content of the treasure chest is something nice. If it’s just jewelries, gold, or magic stones, we can skip them," I said.

Though I haven’t seen a treasure chest for a while. And our goal is not like the vampires’ goal. They left Cassau to look for beautiful jewelry. Though they actually just don’t want to stay in Cassau and do nothing. And they don’t like staying in Monsters Village for too long since they love human cultures so much. So they decided to leave.

I’m sure it will be fine. Arin can contact me whenever they need help. And having another group roaming the continent is good for scouting as well. All the kings agreed to support the vampires whenever they stop by their country.

She might say that jewelry was their reason to leave. But it’s just a trigger. I think they wanted to train in their own way.

After seeing where Shelia moves, we decided to go the other way. It was kind of her to not defeat every monsters right at the entrance of the floor. So we still have some left to fight.

"Alright, do your own things," I said.

Ray and Victoria rushed first. Ray was running on the wall and Victoria slashed all the enemies she could reach. They’re going to attack the monsters at distance first.

The closest one will fight Crabbe. His duty is more of a tanker than fighter. He protected those behind him. But he’s also really strong with his four arms and two claws.

There’s no source of water here, so he couldn’t use magic as much as he wants. He will mainly fight with his body covered with his strong shell.

Then for the mid-range, it was Georgia who defeated the zombies easily with light magic. I think she will get tired first before the other familiars. Once she’s tired, I’ll return her to the village and tell her to rest. Graham will take over after that.

When was it that I fight with only my familiars? I think it has been so long.

We rarely fight together. But we’re still close. There’s not even any hatred between their races or species. I guess I really am a good king.

We progressed faster than I expected. This floor is bigger than the previous floor, but there are more monsters in this floor. But we defeated them so fast.

Crabbe is the slowest one here. But as he fought, he kept moving forward without even stopping at all. Pushing the enemies in front of him with his two hands and defeated others with his two claws.

I just walked behind him. But it’s a fast walk. And I couldn’t stop at all since I’m keeping up with his pace. This is a good pace.

Though there were some monsters that could pass him. But I just killed them easily. I’m much stronger than my familiars.

Until we reached dead end, we didn’t find any treasure chest or the way down. So I guess the right path is the path that Shelia took.

"Let’s turn around here. The stairs down is not in this place. Can Georgia continue fighting?" I asked Graham.

"This much should be fine. She’s my sister. She’s a real archangel. So she didn’t use much mana for her light magic at all," Graham explained.

That’s a racial ability. Nice.

Graham also explained that his light magic is weaker than his sister’s because he’s a hybrid. Not a real archangel. Just half.

There are a lot of corpses on the path that Shelia went to. And when we found a path that she hasn’t went through yet, we decided to go there.

And finally, one hour later, Shelia contacted me saying that she found the stairs down.

On the way to the location she mentioned, we met up. But at the place near the stairs, there are more monsters than the one Shelia previously encountered.

"Oh, there are more of them than before. It’s weird. And smelly. Can you give me some fresh air?" Shelia asked.

So I use air magic to make fresh air for everyone here. They seem to enjoy it. Because this place is just covered with nasty smell of corpses.

"Well, the next floor is here. We’ll use the same plan. If anyone is tired, tell me right away. Graham, continue watching over Georgia like before. Then, off we go. We will conquer this dungeon by today," I said.

Since everyone seems to have gotten used to the strategy we used before, there’s no need to change it. We will focus on going to the deepest floor. And once we finished, maybe we’ll get this dungeon used as a place to train light mages and the angels.
