The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 1000: He’s a Master Level Mage From That Village

Chapter 1000: He’s a Master Level Mage From That Village

"You know me? Well, that’s not surprising. Even in your city, there’s a big screen installed for the world tournament back then. So, can you tell me who you are?" Albert asked the old master level mage.

"I’m just a nobody who was focused too much on magic and reached master level in my earth element. If you ask me whether I’m involved with the cult or not, the answer is no," the old man said.

Then why bother invited me to his office if he’s innocent? Just to say that he has nothing to do with the cult?

I looked at Albert and he didn’t sense any lie from the old master level mage. There really is no reason to get involved with him then. Unless he decided to join us for some reason. Which I doubt to be the case.

If this old man decided to fight the cult, he would have done something to the other master level mage. But he didn’t and just allowed that other master level mage to work there as a teacher. I hate him already. Just because he’s letting someone from the cult to work under him.

Just how desperate was the school to the point that they just accepted someone without clear background? Well, not that I can help anyway.

Though I heard that the kings should have done something about the education system after we found out that the cult invited newly awakened tamers and summoners. But seems like one of them escaped from their sight.

"Do you have any involvement with the cult other than letting someone from there to work as a teacher in your school?" I asked.

"What? No! If you mean the other master level mage at school, then he’s not with the cult!" the old man complained.

"How are you so sure?" Albert asked.

"He’s my son!"

Oh, that’s surprising. Well, maybe not. He’s old after all. Who knows when he had a son?

"And you have been raising him all this time?" Albert asked.

"...Well, he went missing for a few decades. But I’m sure he’s my son and won’t do something as stupid as joining the cult!" the old man shouted.

"Then why is he threatening the mother of my maid in this palace who worked at your school using the lives of the students there?" Albert asked again.

"He did what?!"

"Old man, just a single glance at her reaction when he saw your so-called son is proof enough that she’s way too afraid of him. How could you not notice it at all?" I asked the old man.

"...I don’t know. Wasn’t it because she realized that he’s a master level mage?" the old man said.

"Someone who is so proud to have a daughter who worked as a maid in the royal palace is afraid of a master level mage who can possibly help us fight the cult? Unless she’s with the cult herself, then it’s your so-called son who is with the cult. And since it has been decades since you last met your son, I doubt that he’s really your son or even related with you at all," I said.

Maybe he could be this old man’s grandson instead of his son. But who knows?

"If you dare making such assumption again, I will kill you!" the old man threatened me.

"No way. You’re too weak for that. And I have killed numerous master level earth mages like you. Well, I haven’t checked your strength yet. But I’m sure it won’t be as strong as someone I know," I said.

By someone I mean Kayla, Sara, and Celestine. If it’s earth magic, then those three were the strongest. With Celestine at the top since the others focused on other elements as well.

"Hehe... it will be your doom. I know a village full of master level mages who trained their bodies. They won’t care if you’re a King. I’m sure they will help me," he said confidently. I guess he knew that he won’t be a match against me.

Though so far, he couldn’t remove the collar because I’m checking his every move. Any time he tried to raise his hand to the collar, I glared at him.

But a village full of master level mages? I know one. And I have recruited them all.

"What are you doing?" the old man asked.

He noticed that I used magic. But he didn’t know why I was using magic.

I was using magic to operate my phone to contact the summoner who came from that village to ask him if I could open a portal to his location and bring him here. And he allowed it

Then I just opened a portal and see not just the Summoner. But also the Tamer. They seem to be playing around as usual.

"Oh, it’s you! I thought you were dead already since there have been no contact from you."

It was the Tamer who jumped into the portal and greeted the old man.

"You? Why are you here? What about the village?" the old man asked.

"The village? We left them after we learned that there’s a cult out there trying to destroy the world. There’s no reason to just focus on myself if the world is going to get destroyed. We decided to return back to the village again after the cult is gone," this time, the Summoner replied.

The old man, well, all three of them were old men though. I mean the old man I just met. He was shocked to hear that those people who were so focused in improving their physical strength to left that village. And they also joined us.

Albert told the two of them what had happened. And those two laughed hearing that.

"Did you get tricked by someone who pretended to be your son? Do you even have a son?" the Tamer asked.

Then those three just arguing. Well, it’s only the master level earth mage while the Summoner and the Tamer were laughing at him.

"Albert. How about this? We now know that this guy won’t help us facing the master level mage in that school. Can we just have him prisoned somewhere?" I suggested.

"If we do, then there’s a chance that that teacher will be suspicious. Principal, how about you return back to your school and pretend all of this never happened. We will also inform you if he told you the truth that he was really your son or not. We have centaurs with us and they’re creatures who can tell when someone is telling a lie or the truth. We can interrogate your son after capturing him. But for now, we need to wait until the time for the maid to send the report," Albert said.

Right now, the maids were being escorted by two agents while also reading a script about what they should say. They were being lead to make a fake direction to the ones who’s listening to them.

"Fine! I promise you that I won’t do anything suspicious during the investigation! And if you find him to be my son, then I will ask for compensation!" the master level earth mage shouted.

"Sure. But what if even though he’s your son, he’s really involved with the cult?" Albert asked.

"...Then I will kill him myself," he said.

He was so agitated that he didn’t notice that my portal was still open ever since I brought the Summoner and the Tamer here. And the Summoner’s familiar is a centaur.

"He’s lying. He won’t kill his own son," Centaur said.

The old man showed his anger to Centaur. Though I think if they were to fight one-on-one, Centaur will win. But the old man didn’t know that he’s weak compared to us.

"The Vice Principal was one of us, right? Let’s ask her to make some excuse saying that the Principal has a duty to attend in another city in a hurry. At least until the day that the maids delivered their report," Albert suggested.

"Then we just arrest this old man?" I asked.

But the old man quickly removed the collar and about to use magic in this place. Fortunately, the Tamer and the Summoner were quick enough to react to knock the old man out right away.

"Well, how about we just return to the village with him with the others as well? We can watch over him while also talking about nostalgic stories of the past," the Summoner suggested.

"That’s fine. Let’s do that then. Roy will bring you all to near the Magicless Area," Albert said.

It won’t be long until the maids deliver the report and put them into the designated place. So the old man won’t be staying for long.

"Oh, one more thing. That old man noticed me watching him using Divine Vision from far away. Was he like the strongest mage from the village?" I asked.

"Well, yes. Both in magic and physical strength, he was the best. But now, I don’t think that’s the case anymore. You don’t have to worry. We’re already far stronger than when we stayed in the village," the Tamer replied.

Yeah. Even with just one person from that village watching over this old man, I can be rest assured knowing that this old man won’t be able to beat them.

Even if he managed to escape from the Magicless Area, unless he could move quickly far away, he will be caught by the others. There’s no need to worry about him.

Now that I have brought them and the others as well to near the Magicless Area, it’s time to go back to that school. Wendy is waiting.
