Lin Xue also hurried over by now and, upon seeing the situation, asked with some surprise, "What happened?"

"It’s still unclear, but we know someone broke into the lab and started a fire, and they also hurt Professor Tang!" Ling Feng said.

Lin Xue was startled, "How could this happen?"

Ling Feng looked at her, "I suspect there was an information leak."

Upon hearing this, Lin Xue’s eyes widened in disbelief, "How is that possible?"

"No need to panic, the data wasn’t leaked. The perpetrator didn’t get anything; they just caused some damage, and we can still control the situation!" Ling Feng said.

At this point, Tang Hong ran out of the building again, looking flustered as she stared at Ling Feng, "The surveillance hard drive was stolen!"

Without the surveillance records, they wouldn’t know who had broken in. Now they could only wait for Professor Tang to wake up and see what he remembered.

Just feeling helpless, Professor Tang suddenly groaned and slowly opened his eyes.

Just as he was about to ask more, a black sedan drove up, and two men in black suits approached them, "Mr. Ling, we are from the Demon Capital subdivision. There’s been an incident here, correct?"

The men nodded, glanced at the situation in the car, then asked, "Are these two involved in the incident?"

"That young man isn’t, he just happened to pass by drunk!" Tang Hong said.

But Ling Feng shook his head, "No, he’s also involved. I suspect that the leak is related to him."

"What?"

Tang Hong was taken aback for a moment and then asked with confusion, "Why?"

"You’ll know about that in a moment!"

Ling Feng said a word and then told the two security agents, "This is not the place to talk. Shall we all go to the Reception Hall out back?"

The agents shook their heads, "No need, this matter is now under the jurisdiction of our subdivision. You will come with us."

"That’s fine too."

Ling Feng nodded, then turned to Tang Hong, "You get in the car too. This matter is no small deal, and although there’s no loss, we can’t let the culprit get away!"

"Okay."

Tang Hong was originally going to accompany them because her father was injured, and she needed to take care of him.

So, a group of people got into seven cars, with Ling Feng driving and following the security agency’s personnel, departing together from the campus.

Upon arriving at the sub-branch, everyone didn’t take the elevator up but parked the car in the underground garage and then entered a passageway.

They then entered a very large room, where staff members were already busy at work.

Liu Tao was awakened by Ling Feng by this time, the effects of alcohol had largely worn off, but he was still in a somewhat confused state.

"Mr. Ling, please wait a moment, we need to take these three in for questioning," one of the staff members said politely to Ling Feng, knowing his rank was higher than their own and also aware that he was a high-profile figure in the agency recently.

Ling Feng nodded, thinking to himself that this would save him some trouble.

So, he and Lin Xue waited outside while Professor Tang, his daughter, and Liu Tao were taken into an inner room.

As time ticked by, after a full hour, a person from the Demon Capital sub-branch came out, "We have identified a suspect, a fellow named Kondo. He’s a spy from Dongying. We’ve been monitoring him for a long time."

Upon hearing this, Ling Feng was overjoyed, "Is it really him? That’s great. Where is he now?"

"We’re currently searching for him. We hope Mr. Ling can help us capture this person!"

"No problem. Inform me immediately once you have his whereabouts!" Ling Feng nodded.

"Alright!"

The man nodded back and turned to leave, but Lin Xue called out to him, "Excuse me, may I have a copy of the information on that Kondo?"

"Miss Lin, please wait a moment."

The person nodded, turned back into the inner room, and quickly brought out a file, handing it to Lin Xue.

In the meantime, Ling Feng took the opportunity to ask, "How is Professor Tang?"

"His condition isn’t serious. He’s currently receiving treatment. Also, the leak came from his student, Liu Tao. It wasn’t intentional. He mentioned something unintentionally to a classmate, and it was overheard by that Kondo."

Upon recollection, during the previous two encounters with someone surnamed Kong, the man had escaped both times. Now that the guy had fled abroad, catching him was even more difficult.

This man was like a thorn in Ling Feng’s side; he couldn’t vent the pent-up resentment from the past unless he caught him.

Lin Xue glanced at him and said indifferently, "This person will show up eventually; he can’t escape!"

"What’s the relationship between Kondo and Kong Sheng?"

"They both have stayed in America, probably trained together as spies during that time," Lin Xue said.

"And afterwards? Did they have any other contact?" Ling Feng inquired.

"They’ve had a few encounters. When Kong Sheng brought Americans here last time, followed by your chase, he stayed with Kondo for a few days," Lin Xue said as she flipped through the file.

Hearing this, Ling Feng narrowed his eyes, "In that case, this Kondo fellow needs a good lesson!"

"Let’s catch him first; grabbing him might lead to Kong Sheng’s whereabouts!" Lin Xue said.

Ling Feng looked at her, "Right, by the way, shouldn’t you call Guo Kai? He might know Kondo’s location."

"Ah?"

Lin Xue was stunned and asked incredulously, "You want me to contact him?"
