The Greatest Village Doctor In The World

Chapter 1040: Tour Group

Chapter 1040: Tour Group

Knowing Yang Guang was a girl, Ling Feng felt relieved and turned back to his room.

After a night passed, just as he got up the next morning, there was a knock on the door.

It was Chen Yan. After opening the door, she asked, "Uncle, what are you doing today?"

"Why are you calling me uncle too?" Ling Feng asked in surprise.

"It feels fun to call you that. Don’t you like it?" Chen Yan asked.

"No, Fei’er always calls me that too. I’m free today, what do you want to do?" Ling Feng asked.

"We want to go out and have fun, do you want to come with us?" Chen Yan asked.

Ling Feng hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Where to?"

"Capital City is so big, there must be many fun places. Is there anywhere you’d like to go?" Chen Yan asked.

"No, I’m not really interested in traveling. Where are you planning to go?" Ling Feng asked.

"We are thinking about going to the Great Wall. It’s not a holiday now, so there shouldn’t be many people!" Chen Yan said.

After thinking for a bit, Ling Feng nodded his head, "Alright, then I’ll go with you guys for a stroll!"

"Great, we’ll leave in twenty minutes!"

Chen Yan was very happy, said a phrase, and then turned to head back.

Ling Feng had nothing in particular to prepare, but knowing girls often have more things to handle, he waited in his room for a while.

Then, he went out and saw that Chen Yan and Ye Qian had both changed into casual outfits, looking fresh and lovely.

As for Yang Guang, this little girl had also changed her clothes, wearing a pink dungaree, and even tied her hair in a small top-knot and adorned it with a pink bow.

Dressed in this manner, the little girl’s mischievous charm was brought out.

Ling Feng couldn’t help but praised, "This outfit is nice. Whose idea was it?"

"Mine. How is it, isn’t my taste pretty good?" Chen Yan asked with a cheerful smile.

"Very nice, it would be a waste if you weren’t an image consultant!" Ling Feng nodded and said.

"Thanks for the compliment!" Chen Yan said, delighted.

The four of them went downstairs. In the elevator, Ling Feng suddenly remembered something and turned to look at Yang Guang, "Is this your real name, or did you change it later for protection?"

"Of course, I changed it!" Yang Guang said irritably.

It was obvious she was still upset with Ling Feng.

Ling Feng didn’t mind, he smiled and continued asking, "So, what’s your real name?"

"Not telling you. From now on, just call me Yang Guang!" the little girl said.

"Alright, if you don’t care, I don’t mind either," Ling Feng laughed.

The group went downstairs. Ling Feng was about to drive the car when Chen Yan asked, "Do you know the directions?"

"We’ll use the GPS!"

"But can the GPS tell where the scenic spots are?" Chen Yan continued to ask.

Ling Feng was speechless, looked at her and said, "So, what do you suggest?"

"Let’s find a tour guide. Yesterday afternoon when I went out shopping, I saw at the bus station there’s a one-day tour to the Great Wall, only eighty yuan per person!" Chen Yan said, beaming with joy.

Ling Feng figured it wasn’t expensive and there would even be a free car and tour guide, so he immediately nodded his head, "You’re the clever one. Let’s go find a tour group then!"

"Let’s go!"

So Chen Yan took the lead, and instead of going to the parking lot, they walked in the opposite direction.

Not far ahead was a long-distance bus station. Capital City is so large that the scale of bus services connecting to all parts of the country is very substantial, hence there are several bus stations.

This was one of them. As Ling Feng and his group reached the station square, they saw many people holding signs soliciting business.

Ling Feng noticed that they were all advertising one-day tours of Capital City and couldn’t help but click his tongue, saying, "I didn’t expect there to be so many travel agencies!"

"It’s because the passenger flow is large; this is perfect, saves us from waiting, and I guess we’ll soon gather enough people for one bus!" Chen Yan said cheerily.

After saying this, she went up to inquire with the people soliciting tourists, and Ling Feng and the others didn’t think much of it since they would soon be climbing the Great Wall, and they were a bit excited.

Chen Yan quickly found a travel agency, and then the four of them followed the staff forward and got on a coach.

The bus was almost full, with more than thirty seats, and now it was seven or eight full. Ling Feng secretly clicked his tongue, thinking that there really was no shortage of people. It seemed that visitors from other places to Capital City all wanted to see the Great Wall, after all, it’s a famous spot known to the common people of Huaxia.

Chen Yan had already paid the fees for four people, so Ling Feng and the others went to the back row to find empty seats and sat down.

At this point, Ling Feng looked at what other tourists were holding and slapped his forehead: "I say, are we going up the mountain empty-handed, without even bringing some water?"

"Right, I forgot, just a second, I’ll go now!"

Since this trip was initiated by Chen Yan, she took charge of the logistics and hurried off the bus to buy water.

A few minutes later, a few more tourists boarded the bus intermittently, and by the time she returned, the bus was full.

Chen Yan got on the bus, and the impromptu one-day tour group was ready to depart.

As the coach left the station and drove onto the highway, a young man stood up, grabbed the microphone, and spoke a few words to everyone.

This person introduced himself as Ah Wei, the guide for this day tour.

Ling Feng had never joined a tour group before, and found it quite novel. Listening to Ah Wei talk about some of the famous historical sites in Capital City made the journey somewhat interesting.

After leaving the city, the bus began driving north, gradually entering the mountain area.

The tourists were all eagerly looking out the windows, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Great Wall.

Unfortunately, though the mountains were high, they did not reveal even a corner of the Great Wall.

Ling Feng thought it might be still further away, so he didn’t pay it too much mind.

Seeing Yang Guang eating snacks in the seat in front, he couldn’t resist asking, "Didn’t you eat breakfast?"

"I did eat, what’s up?" Yang Guang asked, turning around.

"Nothing, just saw you wolfing down, thought you might have skipped breakfast!" Ling Feng laughed.

"I did eat, just not enough!"

Yang Guang gave him a sideways glance and turned back to continue crunching on his chips.

Ling Feng was speechless, remembering this guy’s appetite, and couldn’t help but wonder if this fellow would end up like a beach ball from eating like this, just like Sun Hao!

The coach traveled through the mountains for almost an hour before finally stopping next to a small village.

The guide, Ah Wei, spoke into the microphone: "Dear tourists, we have reached our destination. The rest of the journey is on foot, please prepare to get off the bus!"

People looked out the windows, each showing a look of surprise.

The village had only a few households, and the road they came on was paved with concrete, it hardly looked like a scenic area!

Someone whispered, worried they might have been duped.

Upon hearing this, Ling Feng felt a shift in his thoughts too and began to sense that something wasn’t quite right!
