Ye Qian sighed: "You might be disappointed to hear that after I helped set up the Spirit Severing Formation, a staff member took me out for a tour, then we had dinner, and after that, I was driven back to the city to find you."

Yet, Chen Yan didn’t seem to mind at all, and with a smile, she said, "It’s fine, we just got back from shopping and haven’t prepared for bed yet, there’s nothing inappropriate!"

Hearing this, Ling Feng stepped into the room.

Upon entering the living room, only Ye Qian was visible. Yang Guang was nowhere to be seen. Ling Feng paused, then asked, "Where’s that guy?"

"He ran to the bedroom when he heard you were coming!" Ye Qian said with a laugh.

Ling Feng was speechless, thinking to himself, on my turf, where can you possibly run to? Even if you climbed to the sky, I’d pull you back down!

So he stepped to the bedroom door and reached out to push it open!

But the door was locked from the inside!

Ling Feng was not pleased, he said coldly, "Hey, do you really plan to squat here? Come out now, or I won’t be polite!"

"Stay away, I’m not sleeping with you!" Yang Guang shouted from inside the room.

Ling Feng was speechless, "It’s not up to you, come out immediately, or I’ll kick the door open!"

"Go ahead and kick it, you’ll have to pay for it if you break it!" Yang Guang shouted back.

Ling Feng rolled up his sleeves, ready to get to work, but Chen Yan quickly came forward to pull him back, "Alright, alright, just sit down for a bit, I’ll go talk to him!"

"Fine, she stays here then. Go have a good bath later, you might want to hold off on wearing skirts until after you transform back into a girl. It looks a bit odd now!" Ling Feng said.

"It’s all Chen Yan’s doing, insisting that since she is a girl, she should wear girl’s clothes. Now she does look a bit out of place," Ye Qian said.
