Chapter 836: Bonus - 2
Chapter 836: Bonus - 2
Extra #2
Haji drew a deep breath and cleared his throat, straightening his back as he held onto a vine. When his eyes gleamed with determination, he nodded and jumped, hanging onto the large vine while shouting like Tarzan,
"Oh hohoho~ ho ho~!"
His rhythmic cry echoed through the forest, making the twins beam as their eyes twinkled.
With them was Efraim, watching Haji swing across while clinging to the large vine and making that strange sound. Also present were several members of the Order who had come with the twins and Efraim to spend a few days "camping."
The twins, after all, wished to teach Efraim some survival instincts. At this point, they were more like parents to Efraim, teaching him the "way of life."
The problem was that their way of life was mostly influenced by how Atlas had raised them, plus Lola’s core mentality.
Izu and Florida watched Haji from a distance before shifting their eyes to the kids. Their mouths opened and closed, but no words came out.
Then suddenly, Chuck—who had been practically shoved into joining the group—walked a little closer to their side. His eyes swirled with wonder, and before he knew it, he blurted out quietly,
"That Bellemonte leader... is he sure about this?" he asked under his breath, disbelief clear on his face. "These kids are too young to be raising another human being."
As a matter of fact, Efraim was older than the twins. But according to them, they were older than Efraim because there were two of them, and if they totaled their ages, that explained it.
Chuck shook his head.
"They’re gonna destroy that kid."
Izu and Florida could only press their lips into a thin line as they glanced at Chuck before looking back at the twins.
The twins had already happily hopped away, yelling,
"Uncle Haji, I want to do it too~!" Chacha intoned while Second added, "Me too! Me too!"
Then they stopped and looked back at Efraim, grinning.
"Albert, let’s go!" they said in unison.
Efraim raised his brows and bitterly huffed. He had already lost count of how many names he got now. "It’s not Albert!"
But they were already laughing as they ran, leaving him with no choice but to follow his two masters.
Shaking their heads, the men followed the children. This small island, where they would camp and "train," was quite dangerous.
But when they reached Haji, all the men suddenly stopped upon seeing Baby.
"Huh?"
They all froze upon seeing that Baby was carrying quite a lot of baggage. But that wasn’t what surprised everyone.
It was the fact that four adorable, chubby children were clinging to his shoulders, back, and arms.
"Those are Miss Penny and Sir Zoren’s children?" Florida wondered aloud, but no one answered him.
All they could do was stare at the additional children Baby had brought with him in dread.
Just not long ago, the members of the Order had been busy training and honing their skills for battle.
But now, since peace had reigned in the secret society, all of them felt like they had turned from soldiers into nannies!
"No..." Haji shook his head as he stepped back in horror, only to pause when he felt two little hands holding his.
When he looked down, all he saw were Chacha and Second grinning smugly.
NOOO!
Enough with these kids!
But despite all his silent pleas, for some reason the twins and the quadruplets just wouldn’t let him go.
Why?
Because, according to them, Haji was the best uncle!
He didn’t want to be the best uncle!
This was torture!
But in the future, all of his "suffering" would result in his child having amazing big brothers and big sisters who would always be there to protect her.

"Hahaha!"
Himari’s laughter echoed through the pavilion in the mansion while Sybil shook her head, chuckling.
"That boy."
Sybil picked up her cup of tea, her smile unmistakable.
"For some reason, the Young Master and Young Miss are drawn to him."
"He keeps complaining, but at the same time, he doesn’t say no," Himari’s face softened as she thought of her grandson and his relationship with Lola’s children. "I hope they’re having fun on their little vacation."
Vacation, they said, but it didn’t feel like one for him at all!
"Grandma."
Suddenly, a call from outside the pavilion echoed. Sybil and Himari turned, only to see Scarlet standing at a distance, waving at them before jogging toward where they were.
"And her too," Sybil chuckled as she stared at Scarlet’s bright smile before glancing at Himari. "For some reason, she’s also drawn to your boy. Himari, your grandson truly is something."
Himari chuckled as she kept her attention on Scarlet’s approaching figure.
"No," he hummed. "They’re not drawn to my grandson. It’s the other way around."
"Haha." Sybil shook her head. "Perhaps you’re right. Or perhaps both of us are. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have asked for her hand, and she wouldn’t have said yes."
After a year of dating, Haji had already asked for Scarlet’s hand.
And even though she gave him quite a bit of trouble, she still said yes.
That little camping trip on the nearby island?
That was supposed to be Haji’s bachelor’s party.
But unfortunately for him, he didn’t even know that.

Derek’s phone kept buzzing against the bedside table.
He groaned, reaching for it while lying on his stomach. When he checked who it was, his mouth instantly curved downward.
It was his cousin, Justin.
Justin had left a dozen missed calls and had bombarded him with messages.
[Where are you?]
[Are you crazy? Aunt Celes arranged these dates for you! You shouldn’t have agreed if you didn’t want them in the first place!]
[Derek, are you seriously not going to come?]
And many more messages that Derek didn’t even bother reading.
He simply stared at the screen, clicked his tongue, switched his phone off, and tossed it aside before turning back to sleep and enjoying his day off.
"Who said I agreed?" he muttered as he partially opened his eyes. "I already told them I’m not ready to meet anyone."
Although he understood his aunt’s worries and intentions, Derek had already made himself clear.
He didn’t want to be in a committed relationship right now. Especially one that started with an ulterior motive and could benefit their family.
He didn’t want to make the same mistake again.
He hadn’t completely moved on from Lola, but he was slowly healing.
He just didn’t want to rush it. He wanted to take his time.
Derek closed his eyes and sighed again.
But a minute later, he opened his eyes slightly and sat up languidly. He turned to the bedside table where a digital clock sat.
"I guess I should just go there."
Shaking his head, Derek pushed himself off the bed and went through his usual morning routine.
But he didn’t plan to go to the blind dates set up for him.
Instead, Derek went to a small orphanage for some volunteer work.
After all, the volunteer work and charity projects his grandfather had been sponsoring had helped him more than alcohol ever did.
And he liked it better this way.
