Supreme Heir Son-in-law

Chapter 929 - 928: Torture

Chapter 929 - 928: Torture

He Chen looked at the bloody scene in front of him, wrinkling his brow with some distaste, yet he had no intention of leaving.

The man struggled fiercely, looking as if he desperately wanted to throw himself to the ground to pick up the severed tongue and reattach it in his mouth.

The two bodyguards used some effort before they could restrain the man who had fallen into madness.

Speaking of this, one must commend the bodyguards’ skills, for although the man’s tongue was cut out, not much blood spurted out. Even with his massive struggles, it only resulted in a slightly increased flow of blood from his mouth, far from causing any fatal consequences like on TV.

"I don’t know which hand you used to touch my sister, nor do I care to know. To ensure you never make the same mistake again, cut off his fingers," He Chen said, sitting on a chair, not even lifting his eyes.

Upon hearing He Chen’s words, the man, who had calmed down a bit, became agitated again, clenching his fists tightly, not wanting to give them the chance to cut off his fingers. Becoming a mute, he could still work and communicate through sign language, but if he lost his fingers, what could he do? Fearful of being unable to find a decent job, would he starve or end up begging under a bridge?

Understanding the kind of consequence awaiting him, he became increasingly terrified of what was to come, which was precisely what He Chen wanted—his fear.

Thinking of his sister being mute and immobile, brought to a small, broken place like a garbage dump by someone like this, did she feel the same fear? Everything his sister went through, he wanted the other to experience, and it must be more, not less; even a bit less and he felt his sister wouldn’t be happy.

This unresolved grudge weighing on his sister’s heart—he, as her brother, had failed to disperse it.

He Chen thought a bit absentmindedly.

While He Chen was lost in thought, the man’s fingers had already been pried open. Because he was uncooperative, the bodyguards’ actions were inevitably rough, some fingers twisted too intensely to close again.

The man stared wide-eyed, his eyes filled with red bloodshot, tears streaming down like they were mixed with blood, a sight that would move most people. But unfortunately, he was not facing ordinary people; no one in the room felt any empathy for this scene.

Watching his fingers peeled off, one by one, the dual blow of physical and mental agony caused the man to pass out.

"Young Master He, he’s fainted," the bodyguard said, holding a knife and turning back to look at He Chen.

"Wake him up, continue, I don’t want him to pass this process unconsciously," He Chen said.

The bodyguards with He Chen were exceedingly loyal; hearing his words, they acted almost instinctively.

The knife-wielding bodyguard smashed the hilt against the man’s wound. The intense pain made the man thrash like a dying fish, even with closed eyes, he struggled and was jolted awake by the searing agony.

The already mangled flesh endured yet another ordeal, likely reducing the severed fingers to splinters.

"Don’t pass out again, you must endure it, otherwise I’ll wake you up again," the bodyguard said with a simple smile, but to the man, it seemed nothing short of devilish.

He opened his mouth, moving it as if pleading for mercy, but lacking a tongue, his words came out as meaningless ah sounds.

With bloodshot eyes, he displayed a desperate look, hoping the bodyguard would spare him, but the bodyguard acted as if he saw nothing, his blade descended again, taking another finger.

The bodyguard cut ten times and smashed eight times to complete He Chen’s command.

After this punishment was over, the man looked as if freshly pulled from water, drenched in sweat, pallid, his lips stained with blood, painted a stark red.

Such a scene held a certain eerie quality, yet the people in the room acted as if they saw nothing.

He Chen looked at the man’s mutilated hands, his eyes filled with aversion for the blood, yet satisfaction at the man’s pathetic state.

"Though not very aesthetically pleasing, it matches your hideous self. Cut his hand tendons too, since there are no fingers left, those hands are useless," He Chen said again.

Understanding he had become a complete invalid, the man showed no reaction to He Chen’s words, seemingly resigned to his fate, made no resistance as his tendons were severed by the bodyguard.

This time, his hands were utterly ruined, beyond any chance of recovery.

"Alright, that’s it for today, I think he’ll remember this lesson and will never touch people he shouldn’t in this life," He Chen said as he stood up, straightening his unwrinkled clothes and dusting off invisible particles, then walked out of the meeting room.

Outside the meeting room stood a cluster of policemen, but He Chen walked past them as if he hadn’t seen them, not greeting them, simply walking straight out.

The policemen standing outside exchanged glances. The meeting room wasn’t soundproof, they had heard the man’s cries inside clearly, but because He Chen was in there, none of them dared to go in.

Now that He Chen had left the station, a few curious policemen went in first, and upon seeing the man’s miserable state inside, their faces turned pale, their expressions grim.

The reason being, it was them who led the man inside, and back then he had all his limbs intact.

But now, the man lay sprawled on the floor, blood was everywhere, ten fingers scattered in the room, and next to them lay a piece of red flesh.

A few policemen raised their eyebrows, having a rough guess about the red piece, making their faces even grimmer.

"Don’t just stand there, call an ambulance quickly, or else with this amount of blood loss, he’ll die," one of the policemen said, suppressing the discomfort his senses felt.

Imagine, if news of this got out, how much pressure their police station would face, and what kind of fate awaited those working there.

Could He Chen not foresee this?

No, he could, but he did it anyway, leaving only one possibility—he intended it.

Purposefully putting the police in a dilemma, making the people in the station loathe He Chen instantly, keeping their thoughts silent but heavy in their hearts.
