Chapter 343: Concealed
Chapter 343: Concealed
Sheila was not affected by anything. Not by the attacks, not by the man’s powers. Nothing.
She could move up to the Space Nova, and place her hands on him if she wanted to without any worry. But she wasn’t able to touch him. It was almost as if she was a ghost, passing through an ethereal plane that no one could interact with.
But, that was not all that she could do.
She didn’t understand a lot of what was happening, but she did understand that her powers had evolved. And with that evolution had come something she hadn’t expected.
Her powers had split apart, becoming two.
She was curious at first as to why she had two powers, but it made some sense when she thought about it in the way that she always had two powers.
The power to conceal herself. And the power to conceal whoever she touched.
Her own power of concealment had improved in such a way that she was no longer even physically present in the same dimension as everyone else. Not only that, it had turned into a passive power, that made her disappear when she was in danger.
The other power, the power to conceal others had a bit of a change. It was still concealment, but not in the same way. She could now conceal someone’s energy instead of the person themselves.
This did require her to come out of her own concealment as she could not use the two powers at the same time. And perhaps, much worse, she could not choose who she was concealing.
It had to be everyone in a radius around her, and the radius was unfortunately large enough to cover Stanley inside of it.
"Stanley!" Sheila quickly said. "Be careful, you’re going to lose part of your powers very soon."
"What?" Stanley was surprised by Sheila’s sudden words.
The young Space Nova looked all around, trying to see where she was talking from, but couldn’t find her. He could still hear her words.
"I’m going to use a power that will get rid of some of your powers for exactly 10 minutes. Will you be fine?" Sheila asked.
"Why will I lose my powers?" Stanley asked.
"That is the only way you can win," Sheila said.
Stanley thought for a decent time and nodded. "I trust you. Do what you have to do."
Sheila suddenly came out of her concealment and her power exploded in a radius around her. Sheila alone could feel how wide her powers were spreading and couldn’t help but be surprised.
It was far wider than she had expected it to be.

Gray fought the Fire Nova half-heartedly. He couldn’t do a lot to fight her as she was unkillable without him expending a lot of energy.
And if he tried, there was the threat of her just going somewhere else to fight others. He did not want that to happen, so all he did was stay right above the lava and keep the woman at bay.
Suddenly, he felt something pass through him, like a wave of energy that touched his inner core.
At the same time, the woman before him frowned, not understanding something had happened to her as well.
Gray frowned, trying to see what was happening, but found himself unable to use his aura to sense things. That was something he had always been able to do, but he couldn’t do it anymore.
Everything else he could still do, so he was unsure what exactly had happened.
He looked at the woman before him and saw her face pale. She looked at him and tried to run to the side.
Gray’s aura turned to a whip and smacked her on the back. He caught her with the aura, bringing her back when she turned into fire and appeared in a different location.
She reappeared there, but for some reason, she was still grimacing with pain.
Gray looked at her and then her back. A thought came to him and he turned his aura into a spike, sending it directly toward the woman.
The woman nearly teleported, but was pierced through the shoulders. When she reappeared, the wound was still there.
Gray suddenly smiled. "Can’t heal anymore, can you?"
The woman’s darkened face was answer enough.

Amy felt a surge of energy passes through the entire room from outside. "Something changed," she said quickly. Her eyes darted around, standing among the zombies that surrounded her.
She had first thought of leaving this place to go help Caleb, but upon realizing that there was a Nova in the room, she had remained behind with the wounded director to make sure the Nova could hurt no one else.
The director was still in pain, unable to do anything, so he was relying on Amy.
Amy had defeated some of the zombies, but more continued pouring in front of the door. She had also come to realize that not all of them were zombies, which made it difficult for her to figure out who she could attack, and who she could not.
The most she could do was stand in front of the director and hope no one could reach him.
The Life Nova frowned in the distance, feeling the changes.
Amy realized what had happened almost immediately too. "It’s blocked," he thought. "Every Nova’s passively working powers are gone."

Because Sheila’s powers concealed the power itself, unless one could actively use those powers, they could not use it anymore.
The moment she did, the Space Nova attacked her and she disappeared into the other dimension automatically.
Stanley slowly rose up from where he was, feeling the burden of the entire world come upon him. That wasn’t true of course, it was only his powers that had left him.
His power to sense incoming danger, his power to accurately understand the flow of time, his power to slow down his own aging.
Unfortunately, his power gives him the physical strength needed to move in altered times.
Still, he got up, readying his white sword. Whether he was strong or not, he had to fight and win against this Nova.
