Chapter 213: Fake Dragon VS True Dragons [2]
Chapter 213: Fake Dragon VS True Dragons [2]
"A fluke. Where is the real one?"
Yudrak's eyes gleamed as he located Louis. He struck the ground and unleashed his magic, instantly freezing everything below and forcing Louis to emerge from underground as Tiamat shattered the frozen floor.
"Oops. You found me."
Louis intercepted their attacks with his weapons. He thrust with Gungnir while unleashing Holy Dragon Lance Arts consecutively and simultaneously using Dragon Sword Dance with Gram, Muramasa, and Niflheim.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Even though he was supposed to be weaker, Louis proved incredibly strong. So strong that these two powerful, gifted cousins could only step back as they were rapidly overwhelmed by a relentless series of weapon strikes.
And he was not even going completely serious yet.
"It is time I mix things up!"
"Grrr!"
"Freeze!"
Tiamat and Yudrak roared back, unleashing dragon breaths and magic. Louis's entire body was pierced by sand and crystal pillars, then frozen in place so he could not "switch" bodies, as Yudrak had assumed he had done earlier.
"We got him! Yudrak, now!"
"Yeah!"
Both charged at Louis, summoning giant swords of diamond and ice and swinging them down in hopes of destroying his entire body.
They were aiming to kill him. They had realized he was too dangerous to be left alive.
However…
CRAAASH!
As Louis shattered, a smaller body emerged from beneath. Smiling, he thrust his spear forward, fusing it with the Demonic Chaotic Fire of Gram, his Nirvana Flames, the Gardener's Memento powers, his psychic and draconic energies, and finally his Flames of Ruin.
"Demonic Chaos Dragon Lance Arts."
"First Form."
"Ruinous Fang!"
Louis had reversed and twisted his mother's inherited technique into something far more malevolent. A single thrusting blow was all he needed. A giant dragon presence built from all his accumulated powers roared as his spear pierced Tiamat's shoulder. The dragon also pierced her body, biting through and destroying half her armor in seconds.
BOOOMMM!!!
A massive explosion followed, tearing off her right arm as she screamed in agony. Her blood splattered everywhere as she fell into the wasteland. The ashes glowed and exploded again, giving her no time to rest.
"D-Damn it! Yudrak, do— Ah!"
Yudrak was faring no better. Louis caught him off guard in his smaller form, then suddenly grew gigantic again and unleashed his dragon breath.
Breath of Ruin!
BOOOMMM!!!
"AAAAAGGHHHHH!"
The usually calm and composed Yudrak screamed in horror. The Breath of Ruin dealt no physical damage, but it burned his mind, spirit, and soul, slowly destroying his hope and plunging him into despair where the flames only grew stronger.
As divine dragons, they could eventually overcome it with their latent divine power. They roared mightily and began extinguishing the black and dark purple flames.
"RAAAAHHHHH!"
Their auras exploded. They suddenly flew high into the skies and began moving at lightning speed despite their massive size.
"Louis!"
"We will defeat you!"
They roared as their bodies zigzagged around him. Their titanic claws constantly tried to catch him, but Louis avoided them with ease and moved even faster, turning into a literal spear of light and piercing their bodies when they least expected it.
Gram and Muramasa cut through their flesh, covering them with deadly flames. Niflheim froze the wounds and worsened them, filling their internal injuries with sharp ice crystals that drained their energy.
Ashen runes wove into explosions and ashen frost while Louis unleashed beams of holy light to distract them.
"How is this guy so fast and strong?! He is ridiculous!" Tiamat clenched her teeth, unable to believe what she was seeing.
"He is so fast…! How can he even turn into that blinding light form?! It is impossible to catch him when he does!" Yudrak thought, trying and failing repeatedly to catch and freeze him.
"Curious?" Louis appeared above them. "I will tell you once I am done with you."
He suddenly fused with his spear once more. Their eyes widened as they realized he was coming, descending like a flashing bright light. He struck Tiamat first, reappearing above her, and then…
"RAAAHH!!!"
Her three dragon breaths struck Louis, blasting his body into pieces. Only for his true body to emerge from within the destroyed form. His spear pierced her eyes and his sword cut through her wounds until he transformed into a dragon again. Holding Niflheim with all his might, he beheaded Tiamat's heads!
SLAAASH!
"G-Gaaaah?!"
"Impossible…!"
"Ugh…!"
Her beheaded body crashed loudly to the ground, blood splattering everywhere. Yudrak gasped and roared furiously as the entire world unleashed a deadly ice storm.
"YOUUUU!"
Losing his calm composure, Yudrak caught Louis and pummeled him into the ground while constantly trying to freeze him to death. Louis simply laughed it off, punching his head and then using his swords to pierce and tear out his eyes.
"AAAAAGGHH!"
Louis followed by kicking his snout down, shattering his teeth under the immense force of his draconic kick, before grabbing his jaws tightly.
"S-STOP…! AAAAAHHH!"
Yudrak screamed in horror as Louis brutally tore his jaws apart. A piercing, agonizing pain overtook all his senses, and he passed out on the spot, apparently dead.
Louis stood there waiting. Eventually, the bodies of the two dragons slowly dried and became like brittle shells. They broke apart to reveal their smaller Dragonoid forms inside.
This was an advanced survival technique dragons could use. Even if they took lethal damage in their true forms, as long as their hearts remained intact, they could regenerate a Dragonoid body inside their dying shells and escape death.
"Well done. Dralma did not do that. She is a fool," Louis sighed, crossing his arms.
"Louis…" Tiamat muttered. "Just what… what are you? How… how were you constantly using this technique like it is as easy as breathing? No, wait…"
"He is not a dragon yet…" Yudrak looked devastated. "His dragon form, his breath, everything… it is all fake… I cannot believe it… You are so strong and yet it is all made up?"
"Indeed. I have grown stronger through my own efforts," Louis said. "I have yet to awaken my dragon bloodline fully. Imagine how much stronger I might become then."
"It is terrifying to even fathom…" Yudrak muttered. "How?"
"You two are not even Spiralwalkers, huh? You should awaken Spirals," Louis said. "Maybe then you will be able to catch up a little with me."
"…Spirals?! That power weaklings use?" Tiamat asked angrily. "Why would we dragons use such powers?"
"Would that not worsen your madness?" Yudrak asked.
"Maybe," Louis smiled. "Anyway, you lost. Or do you want to try going against me again?"
"…"
"…"
Both looked visibly frustrated, but there was likely nothing they could do. Louis would simply continue beating them half to death over and over.
The worst part was that he did not look exhausted at all. With such a vast pool of Fantasium, he seemed to possess endless energy. He could fight like this for a whole day or two without feeling tired.
In the end, the two had to yield.
"We give you this victory," Tiamat said as she stood up and brushed the dust off her clothes.
"I suppose we do…" Yudrak sighed loudly. "Haaa… Now how do I explain this to my mother…"
"You talk like it is so bad. My mom is the crazy one. She is going to reprimand me…" Tiamat muttered.
"None of your mothers need to know this happened, fools," Louis shook his head. "Now give me what you owe me."
"…Do we have to do this every day?"
"Once a week," Louis said. "Dralma was also beaten and now has to do the same."
"Tsk… Fine."
"Okay…"
They accepted their defeat surprisingly well. Above all, they shed their scales and provided the rest of the things Louis demanded quite quickly. Their blood was the most annoying part for them, but they fulfilled it anyway, each filling two bottles.
