Chapter 212: Fake Dragon VS True Dragons [1]
Chapter 212: Fake Dragon VS True Dragons [1]
-----
Tiamat and Yudrak had underestimated Louis. They attacked him together in their Dragonoid forms without unleashing their True Dragon Forms, a terrible mistake. Louis was not the type to let others transform in front of him, and their foolishness proved fatal. The moment he overwhelmed them with ease; he charged forward and unleashed three consecutive spear attacks.
"Holy Dragon Lance Style."
"First Form – Radiant Fang!"
"Second Form – Celestial Claw!"
"Third Form – Heavenly Dragon Ascent!"
A giant radiant fang made of celestial light struck them as his massive spear thrust forward like a towering pillar of holy light and salt.
A claw followed immediately, tearing through their defenses and barriers. Flesh and blood splattered as holes spread across their bodies.
Finally, all the gathered power surged into a single devastating thrust. A giant coiling dragon roared as it rose into the skies, piercing through both their bodies and souls.
BOOOMMM!!!
A massive explosion consumed Yudrak and Tiamat. They could not even react before they collapsed onto the ground, half-dead.
"A-Ah… Wha…?!"
"Ugh… L-Louis…"
Louis glared down at them with clear annoyance. His spear gleamed while his eyes radiated pure killing intent. Within those eyes and his aura, there was only one emotion.
Disappointment.
"You act like you are so strong, so powerful, that you can look down on me and call me a pathetic man," he said in a stern voice. "And where is the strength to back it up? Now look at you, already dying against this crippled dragon you laughed at for all these years. How ironic. And quite delightful, yes."
"…!"
"Grr…"
They roared and tried slowly to stand, but their wounds ran too deep. They gasped for air, struggling even to move.
Louis continued glaring at his cousins with annoyance.
"Weaklings. Stand up."
"…!"
"…?!"
"Stand up, right now!"
With a furious roar, the entire realm around them shook. Both cousins' eyes glowed as they slowly forced themselves to their feet.
"Don't you dare… call me…"
"A weakling…!"
They roared back. Their auras surged with full draconic power as their bodies began to transform, unleashing explosions of light, earth, snow, and ice elemental energy.
"WE ARE NOT WEAK!"
RUMBLE!
The entire Fantasy Domain changed shape in mere seconds. Half of it turned into a scorching desert while the other half became an eternal winter land.
There stood their true dragon forms. Their wounds had mostly healed as the transformation allowed them to fully reconstruct their bodies.
Tiamat Drakeheart was the daughter of Amethyst, a Light-Earth Dragon Hybrid, and Drakda, a Chaos Demon Dragon who was the son of the Dragon King and the younger brother of Benladra, Louis's mother.
Her appearance drew heavily from her mother. She was a bright and beautiful golden dragon covered not in metallic golden scales but in gleaming diamonds, golden and yellow diamonds that shone brilliantly.
She possessed four enormous wings glistening with colorful diamond scales and three heads. The first two heads matched the rest of her body, but the central third head was pitch black and red, with demonic eyes, a long jaw filled with razor-sharp teeth, a single spear-like red horn, and seven eyes.
Her other two heads each had four rainbow-colored eyes and four golden horns, along with long blonde hair. The black head instead had long white hair. She also had six legs, making her faster and even more formidable in combat.
She was immense, easily exceeding two hundred meters in length, more than double the size of Dralma's true dragon form. She was by far the largest dragon Louis had seen besides his mother and grandfather.
Yudrak, by contrast, gave off an icy and delicate presence. He measured no more than fifty meters long and was covered almost entirely in white fur. He had a pair of feathered wings and a crown of azure horns that ran along his head and down his long neck.
His face was beautiful and even cute, resembling a wolf with gleaming blue eyes. He also had three fur-covered tails and long, sword-like claws made of azure ice crystals. He exuded the very essence of winter, having inherited his mother's Ice and Snow Elements most strongly.
However, Louis knew better than to underestimate his small size. Yudrak radiated at least three times as much magical power as Tiamat.
While Tiamat specialized in physical combat and endurance, Yudrak was a rare "mage dragon" who specialized in unleashing devastating magic without end.
Louis had no intention of backing down. This was exactly what he wanted. He greeted them with a wide grin and spread his arms.
"Perfect!" he laughed. "This is what I wanted to see! Now that we have stopped playing around with the humans, it is time for the real fight to begin!"
"You will regret this, Louis," Tiamat smiled through her three heads. "We will crush you until you are sorry for ever daring to invite us here."
"I will show no mercy," Yudrak said with his sharp wolf-like gaze.
"Is that so?" Louis smiled. "Let us begin then."
RUMBLE!
The ground shook. The entire Domain trembled and fragmented, shattering and slowly repairing itself as the three titans clashed. Explosions of blinding light, fire, and snow collided violently. Louis was instantly pushed back by their charge, sent flying and crashing through the forests of dark red trees.
CRAAASH!
"Hah, it seems that was it, huh? Now that we are in our dragon forms, he does not stand a chance."
"I knew it."
Both dragons slowly advanced toward Louis, who stood up smiling. His aura surged as the ashes everywhere began to tremble.
Yes, the entire ashen desert, this wasteland, moved to his will.
"Ashen Storm."
FLUOSH!
A storm of harmless ashes washed over the two dragons. They did not even bother dodging, realizing it was a very weak spell.
"How pathetic. Is that the best you have?"
"Hm, that was… weak."
"I guess dragons really are simple-minded, just as my father said. Idiots. At least the younger ones."
"…?"
"…!"
In that moment, both dragons widened their eyes. Thousands of Ash Runes glowed across their bodies. At the same time, Louis waved his hand, and they all exploded into Ashen Frost, absorbing the despair in the environment.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"Uuggh!"
"Agh?!"
As they screamed, huge pieces of ashen frost pierced their bodies. Tiamat's diamond-hard scales were infiltrated through the small crevices between them, leaving her with painful, agonizing wounds all over.
"What is wrong? I thought we were fighting using anything, right?" Louis laughed. He leaped forward, spread his wings, and flew at lightning speed, turning into a spear of light.
FLASH!
He appeared behind Tiamat, who was groaning in pain. She roared and opened her three jaws, unleashing three dragon breaths at once.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
The attacks were devastating, but Louis evaded them all. He swiftly flew behind her again, thrusting his spear through the tiny gaps between her scales like a needle, striking the small, almost invisible weak spots repeatedly.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
"Nnnggh?! Enough!"
She roared furiously and swung her claws, tearing through Louis's defenses. His aura shattered and his magic barrier broke apart, but each fragment was an Ash Rune.
Dozens of explosions engulfed her once more. She shook her heads and pursued Louis as he fled, her magic manifesting around her.
"Don't run, coward!"
The desert around her transformed. A giant sea of sand surged into the skies and fused into massive crystal hands that grabbed Louis and slammed him down.
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
Each fist struck his body, making it explode into pieces of salt and ashes, which then detonated again and destroyed most of the giant crystal hands.
"A fluke. Where is the real one?"
