Chapter 753: Heavy Rewards

"Boy, fooling with demons is the best way to become a puppet. You won't even have the grace of death to let you be free." The commander looked at the card as if he was looking at something worse than anything he had ever seen.

The very same expression was on the elf captain's face. He looked like he ahd just discovered a rotting forest without any chance for true flow of nature to appear again. The exact horrible thing that would make any elf feel despair but also disgusting rage.

"If you insist on using that, l all elf fighters away from the battle. I will not have them tainted or even sued as bargaining chips for this fight."

"I don't plan on putting anyone else's life up for anything revolving around this card or the demon it would call to me. I plan to use it if the demon that the blood moon cult has some association with attacks. If we can't see any chance of defeating it without drastic measures. If everyone looks to be on the verge of death, I will give everything I have to ensure that is not the case."

The pressure in the room grew as Clark showed all of his strength. The energies shared by his partners was dense. It was extremely heavy. This high amount of energy was nothing close to what he should be able to wield.

Refined by battle, the dragon energy had more than begun to strengthen Clark beyond what it had been doing before. He hadn't even noticed it since he had been using the flowing storms moving meditation technique at almost all times to some degree.

The flow of all energies had tempered his soul and body to a much higher degree. The mysteriousness of death energy bringing him closer to the ability to wield these energies in battle. He could even vaguely sense the stronger fighter sitting at the table. How much they had put in to battles. What they could do if he were to fight them.

The shadow energy made Clark feel elusive. His agility could match that of a shadow. Untouchable without the right skills. Yet, also able to sneak up when no other could. A shadow was always right underneath. Right there waiting.

Every bit of these profound understandings made the commander and elf captain understand. This resolve was one that came with every single breath. Every single beat of Clark's heart. He did not have a single reservation about all of this.

Wprired looks came from his group as the commander and the captain both gave an approving nod. They could not approve of this with words. If they did, they feared that they would be putting their people at risk. But for the time being, they would accept that this human boy in front of them was willing to rise well above and beyond anything that was expected of him.

All to ensure that there would not be any more death caused by the cultists.

"We will begin scouting the area. We have no reason to remain within the dwarves walls and be trapped by them." The elves were not ones to want to be within the dwarf metal and stone walls. They were not comfortable there. But they had a lot better set of skills when it came to the wilderness anyways.

"It would be better to get a handle on where the cultists are. Their base will be larger and the more information you hunt down the better." Clark knew that the elves already had a lot of information for them, but the tiniest details would be invaluable to their efforts when the rest of the reinforcements arrived. No, when the rest of their Universal Alliance army arrived.

"We have too many injured. We can't do much right away. We can improve a few war golems. We might have the centurion properly repaired too. I'll have the best working on it. You humans can come see it.

Your armor and weapons need improving."

When the commander said this, Ralph nearly stood up right there to begin walking. He was sure that he could learn a lot. Especially since he was feeling that his body had recovered much more lately. Whether it was the treatments that Maria and Lit Had given him, or his training, he felt that he would be able to forge completely and even better than before sooner than later.

If he were to add the dwarven knowledge to his skill sets, then things would be ten times better.the level of dwarven forging would be weak in his hands, but the knowledge would still surpass that of almost everyone else that attempted it. Mostly because he had first hand experience witnessing it!

"Then we will accept that invitation. We could use some armor that would fit the battle we are about to go in. We have a beast analysis and growth plan business between us. We can provide some interesting information along with whatever materials we have as payment for things."

The commander nodded as he accepted this. He knew that the humans here would not be wasting time. He felt it in his bones. These humans were ravenous for growth. They would consume whatever experiences they needed to grow another tiny bit stronger. They had to.

There wasn't any excuse to be lazy.

Without much more speaking, the commander signed the agreement of being allies within the universal alliance for official record. However, he ahd already verbally stated it. But now with each race having a copy of it, things felt grander.

This ivy is a purified species of shadow ivy. It possessed the ability to grow inside and outside of shadows. Due to this, it carries pure shadow energy from within the shadow and radiates it to spread shadows and darkness.

Holding the oddity of dragon energy and starlight energy, this plant is said to be from the teardrops of a celestial star dragon. Due to this, it is ideal for the usage in helping any celestial related beasts grow. Clark was stunned. Just as they had all stood up, he had received all this. He felt the flow of his internal energy greatly grow yet again. It was almost hard to believe that so much energy was able to be used. He could make another massive leap in growth.

'Major quest: dwarven rescue

Requirements:

Rescue the dwarf people that are within the wreckage and at their dungeon base.

When this quest showed up, Clark remembered that he had been trying to complete it. Now that everything had come to an end, he was getting even more rewards. This entire moment was heavy with rewards. He had wondered how much the system would give him in life, but now, he felt spoiled.

Every single reward was going to make him and his group stronger. They could grow even more now. Take even more steps to becoming the top of all tamers so that they could protect their values in the world.
