Spirit Taming

Chapter 732: New History

Chapter 732: New History

' False face fern- ultra rare

This beast uses light and water energy to be able to mimic the appearances of others over the top of their tamer. Because of this, they are known to be the beasts of royalty and thieves at the same time.

Tjye have long been raised by royalty so that they can leave their guards in safety. This is best used for diplomatic missions. But thieves also raise them to hide themselves after committing various crimes. There was even an elven serial killer that made the false face fern illegal in an entire elven city for fifty years after he was caught.

The potential for growth comes in the control of light and water energies. Because of this, the false face fern gives up on the ability to grow in to new forms. It will just be able to better replicate details the more powerful it gets.

It lacks battle capabilities other than basic boosts to the physical body of the tamer it is bound to. Due to this, their tamers often have a lot of training with martial arts or weapon styles…'

Clakr had seen this analysis the moment that he had seen the leader of the elves in his squad. But he had not spoken a word of it. Especially since he knew of the other beast that the matriarch had with her in case the worst happened. In case no one could handle the blood moon cultists' monsters.

'Elder forest fae - legendary

This is a beast that was once a first spirit. It had various chances to become a dryad or other forms of forest type beasts related to trees or the forests in general. Whoever, the unique spiritual aspect of this beast caused a mutation.

A fae is a mysterious species of beast that only appears to form when it comes to unique spiritual energy and multiple energies mixing together. Because of this, they are often thought of as very dangerous along with intelligent or crafty.

This beast is able to meld itself with an entire forest by spreading its spiritual energy out. This gives them the ability to move the forest, and everything within it as if it is one of their limbs. They are currently responsible for manipulating and growing the entire elven city.

While this mutated form keeps this elder forest fae at their current state, they have chance to become a ture fae queen if they are able to perfectly unite their internal energies in to one. This has only been achieved three times in elven history which is why it is highly unlikely unless…'

Clark could have sat there reading the surprisingly long analysis of the elder first fae. He could see that their intelligence would make them impossible to tame out in the wilderness. Therefore, the matriarch was blessed to have this as a spirit beasts. Not that it had always been elder. It was once a youngling forest fae.

Beyond that, the mix of earth, light, and water mana to allow this beast to even exist was spectacular. This mixture to make a powerful plant type beast was very unique. Yet, the sudden addition of spiritual energy had radically changed the race of this beast to a fae instead of dryad ro similar. Completely stunning.

As the elves took charge of cleaning the area, various missing materials were found. Some of the elves directly reported to the matriarch about reportedly stolen monster materials. The same for some monster materials thought to have been used by individuals to experiment with potions or other things.

The orders flowed freely after that. The matriarch knew who to detain when it came to the elves that most likely helped the blood moon cultists. That, or they were somehow manipulated in to helping them. At the end of the day, they would be detained and need to be interrogated.

When the reports calmed, the matriarch led the way outside the dungeon. As they neared the city, she welcomed the party to follow her up to a branch that had lowered itself to take them up. They were all not moving from the ground to a familiar place. Instead, it was a different, even larger, treehouse within the denses foliage of their massive tree.

"This is the entrance to the first branches. The first and true throne on which the entire city was built around. Welcome to our home." The matriarch welcomed them again. However, she did not show seriousness or any aspect of wariness. She showed a genuine smile.

"With your guarantee for the future, this city of elves will form a relationship with you. Upon change of leaders within your city of Aphelion, they will come here and be evaluated just the same as you. Whether it is the same methods, time will tell. However, I hope to love long enough to meet the next generation you train."

"And we are glad to come here. Whether or not you accepted us, we have achieved a major goal. We stopped the cultists that panned to cause even more harm." Clark saw that everyone within his group appeared slightly tired but fully content with their efforts. Their strength had grown and now they could show off the changes they panned to make.

Their goals were starting to be realized. They would keep pushing to ensure that the blood moon cultists would be eliminated more so than what they had ever been. "We will continue to share this knowledge with those that live within our home world. The cultists are there as well. An issue that has spread through the connections of our worlds. There will always be those that fall to such madness."

The way that the matriarch spoke told them that she had seen many forms of madness in her life. Enough that it was not hard to believe that there would ever be a day when true peace remained.

"I will also be up front as I was when we first came here. We are heading to the mechanical city of the dwarves next. The city that moves through the mountainous terrain mining for ores to build more. The cultists will be attacking them as well. I believe they need to join the Universal alliance. I understand that may be tougher for the elves."

The matriarch appeared to hesitate with Clark's words this time. She knew that the general population was very against the dwarves. Much more than the humans. And the humans had been the pens attempting to steal the younger elves and use the tamed beasts even though that was impossible to do.

"The dwarves have had wars with my people. This city itself has been involved with three separate major battles." The facts were the facts that the elves and dwarves had fights within dungeons even before they had come to this world.

"That being the case, they will also find themselves destroyed by monsters without any assistance. They are geniuses, whatever pain that is to say, when it comes to creating metal work. They also have created their own mechanical beasts beyond what anyone would have expected of them. They more than have the ability to join a real alliance where we can cull the plague attempting to grow again."

The matriarch truly believed that the dwarves would be able to see reason at some point. "Once you convince them out of their stubbornness, I may entertain visiting your rebuilt city. As long as the dwarf city king comes to stand equal there as well." the matriarch smiled and called out to an attendant.

As they walked deer in to the large wooden structure, everyone saw the carvings. Many smaller carvings showing off the elves that had grown the tree with every ounce of energy they had. The funerals for those that perished while claiming this territory. Even the smallest details of weather when these events occurred had been carved in to the wood walls and pillars.

"Now, a new branch will grow so that this day will be marked in our history. Not just evidence, but a contract so that we may all life the way that this was all created. In unison. In partnership. Standing side by side." the way that the elves recorded their history was more than that.. It was a long lived promise that could span through multiple human generations.

"It is an honor to stand beside you." Clark said this and the rest of the group mirrored him. They had all spent a few days here, but witnessed many enlightening things. Enough that they could say they would visit again.

Watching a new section of black wooden wall grow within the building made it feel that this was just beginning of more than just the elves and humans becoming allies. It was a beginning of a future. Up for debate on who bright it could be. An unwritten potential just waiting to be realized.

"We will leave after this easy is out. We need to sleep so that we can make the fastest speed possible."

"Do not worry about that. You will have the assistance of our forces to take you to the edge of the dwarven territories." It made them all more relaxed to hear this. They could rest more comfortably.
