Chapter 670: Power Understanding

Chapter 670: Power Understanding

The target with the draconic flame salamander which had killed easily more people than it should ever be allowed to, saw Clark.

Itn was ebay for the Mourne family to know who Clark was. This was a student on their list of who to kill if they had the chance. Especially because he was always near the Mourne family waste of a daughter, Maria.

Beyond that the story of the fire killing Clark's parents had not disappeared. Rather, it had grown over time. This had ebbed away at the Mourne family strengths. Mostly because the more distant merchants from further cities or further away locations in the wilderness had heard them and severed ties.

This sort of thing would never happen and many families or large merchant groups would try to impress them. Especially for the wilderness families that sent their own personal merchants yearly.

One chance to get rare goods. Once chance to make a large profit from the high number of items that came in. all of this had managed to hit the Mourne family hard. But when they had been ready to eliminate the cause of these rumors and threats that they could not seem to quell easily, Clark's group had disappeared.

Now that they were back, there were many of the Mourne family forces that wanted to get their hands of the golden targets that could strengthen the resources that the Mpurne family gave them to grow.

Unfortunately, the young master of the Mourne family had laid eyes on him. The young master had dibs of all targets in this small battle which some of the Mourne family guardians were sure they would win. They only lost some of the weaker and more pathetic low level guards. It was expected. The weak would die.

Before Clark could leap ahead more than ten steps, a bang appeared as dark red flames collided with General Mane's fists. He ahd used significant force to slam the flaming target out of the nearby area entirely. The only thing that those who had eyes on the situation, noticed that the brilliant red flames figure was even knocked out of the city entirely.

The following figure was General Mane who called out his beast which took the form of blazing armoire. Lion head designs covered it as it spoke to the beasts well known to be his. The flame king lion was considered the symbol of the Mane family after General Mane had become the leader. The general of the entire city.

"Guardians, step back from my target! That brat took something from my family and then flaunted it. But he has no idea how pathetic he really is. He isn't even from a family, just some worthless orphan." The Mourne family young master had become a nameless figure in Clark's eyes.

His entire mind had just made this person in to a dark shadowy figure that deserved nothing but death. What he looked like could be worthless to Clark. What his voice sounded like, worthless. Even if he could breathe air, was a completely worthless thing to know for Clark.

Every single thought came with the follow up of how Clark would kill this person. No, this monster in human skin. That was all. He had waited for the chance for too long. "Shyama, make the guardians your puppets."

The moment that Clark said this, thousands of shadow threads whipped out latching on to the guardian's shadows. Some were able to break them and move away. Other… they felt their bodies being twisted and their joints broken apart. They literally became malleable puppets with barely any ability to resist.

The anger and rage within Clark's existence had spilled out. Shy had never felt it with such clarity. But this encounter had cause it to become sharp. Forward. Right in the font of his partners. Their powerful bonds translating every little pain that Clark felt.

Crim was the same. He sensed it and knew that while acting as Clark's armor in the celestial slime armor form, he could only protect Clark from the dangers. In response to this though, he made his body more dense. He shared as much dragon energies with Clark that he could to ensure that there would be every single potential bit for Clark to use to defeat this opponent.

"How sad. You were raised like a spoiled brat your entire life. You were given every potential resource from a scum sucking family. Yet, all you are is weak. Your beast is smaller than the others I have met. Your skills surely fall short.

I even doubt you will make me use my full force while my partner eats the soul of your little lizard."

Using the taunts to bring his opponent to the right state of mind for a soul crushing victory was coming naturally to Clark. Despite his anger that made his heart race a million miles an hour. He still held his sanity. He had lived with this rage, this pain, for a long time now. It had only stewed and become something unique.

When someone spoke of red hot anger, they would think of rage in passion. A moment of pure emotion.

Cold anger was different.

The terrifying hatred and gruesome bloodlust that could come with it was enough to kill on sight. This was what oozed out of every word that Clark spoke.

"What beast? I only see that weak-" The Mourne family young master saw his draconic flame salamander lap forward with a hiss as it tried to bite the air.

Due to the strength of its flames all over his body, it could sense when something interacted with them. The sudden chill it had felt through those flames was enough to make it react violently. This was a beast that was never used to pain. It was pampered too much.

As chaotic laughter erupted around it, Clark could only step forward knowing that Devi was fighting. Fighting for the parents that Clark knew Devi loved as well. "Devil, destroy that pathetic thing and make sure you get its soul. Do not ever let it rest. Even in death it should suffer for the ones it has killed."

The combination of the laughter and clear bite marks on his beast made the Mourne family young master angry. His face no longer in a mocking grin. No longer showing the glint in his eyes that he wanted to see Clark suffer for his own entertainment as he had done to many others.

The sound of a solid metal sword being drawn was enough to make Clark hesitate slightly. The sword was higher quality than what Clark had expected. He knew that the Mourne family had great items, but this was still just the young master. Not the head of the family who would have something this good.

'Breath of flame great sword- ultra rare

Forged in the last breath of a fire dragon, this word is one that was handed down to the great fire dragon slayer of the last century. It was forged in the last breath of the fire dragon slain by the one the sword was for. The condenses fire essence from that breath becoming the central core of flame steel that allows it incredible energy channeling of fiore energy.

It can both channel and spread fire energy that allows devastatingly powerful fire attacks. Thrown fire slashes and super heated physical slashes can cause great damage to whatever they hit…'

Clark was only able to read this much of the analysis of this unique weapon covered in fire symbols gathering fire energy. The reason he had to stop reading was simple, there was a thrown slash of flames headed towards him.

But to his eyes, it moved slower than any other attack he had faced lately. There was not an experienced feeling to the slash. It felt like the fire energy in it was unrefined. Like someone had gathered it and sent it at him in the roughest manner. Not truly tempered by real battle.

This seemed to show in the way that the young master of the Mourne family helped the greatsword too. It wobbled slightly. Like there was no harsh and constant training in the weaker muscles that would keep that balance.

"I trained myself endlessly for this fight. The ways where I would make you regret ever being born. But you ate this pathetic?" The feeling that Clark had trained himself to the point where he felt every muscle suffer to fight someone he had believed immeasurably above him made him angrier. It made him feel that he had been greatly insulted on top of everything.

"You can't even hold a candle to my flames! You are just here to entertain me!" The next thrown blade of fire came at Clark. But he had other plans.

A slash shattered the blade of flames coming at him. Clark expertly showed off the technique he had gained through training and unique mastery over energies that his partners had shared with him. In a single breath, the flowing storms meditation method caused a shock to move throughout the Mpuren family training area.
