Chapter 541: You Should Go

Chapter 541: You Should Go

The potential to leave the human dictated wilderness territories was not something any of them had thought about. They knew this as the wilderness full of danger and worry for most people. There were some smaller villages along the borders, but it was very rare for anyone to go to these places unless need be.

There were many spaces that were off limits because of dangerous dungeons that had broken out with beasts that were too hard to deal with. Many beasts and dungeons like that would claim large areas of the wilderness that only the strongest of human tamers could wander.

The same was said for the spaces where dungeons connected other worlds. The elves, dwarves, and a few other races had appeared in the wilderness. As a way of making peace, the humans had left that land for those races to have a city for themselves and maintain relations. It was very dangerous to approach certain places because of the risk that came with disturbing relationships with these races.

For the dwarves, they were more technologically advanced but lacked experience with certain elemental energies and other uniquely magical skills. Yet there were the elves that were more in tune with natural energies in the elemental side of things. Yet they would be more likely to oppose technology and metal based energy type beasts. It was a hard balance to have.

However, knowing that materials the group might never see would be out in these dangerous wildernesses was very important. they could go there without the worry of strong families fighting over materials. Of strong families isolating them, trying to kill them, or force them to serve their family. This was a way to avoid all of that while their group got stronger.

"I think this is the best idea. We need to learn to be tougher. Get better at defending our beliefs so that we can face enemies that even city lords can't fight." Clark knew that it was asking a lot. He also understood that the Mane family who had pushed him to get stronger and offered him a hand at his lowest point might expect him to come back.

"Are you sure we can all handle it?"" the worry that grace had seemed to be growing the more that she thought about it. These were places that even the strongest tamers of their human race could die in.

"We would have to. I can forge without being in a forge. I have the tools now, my partners can help. We don't need to worry about anything but the materials. I should be able to start making armor. Here in Terra I can get leather working books too." Ralph made a very good point.

He was certain that making things as they needed would greatly strengthen his ability as a blacksmith and in battle.

"It would be real training. Survival is the best way to become stronger." Brad clenched his fist while making certain that he would be be able to get tougher. He had the goal to be strong enough to defend what he believed in. right now, he believed in his friends.

"Isa? What do you think?" Maria was still thinking and noticed that a few of the group looked at her. But she wanted to hear what the others had to say first.

"I am a merchant. I will be useless without something to sell and information to find. So I will be learning to fight more than anything. We are basically going on a massive stock up journey. I will have plenty of things and beast plans to sell I guess." Isa shrugged. She didn't mind heading out but she did feel that she would be less useful.

The information that Isa had always gotten while in the cities had been valuable. Especially when it came to getting the materials that they all needed when they needed them. Overall, it had been a great help for the group. Now, she would not be able to rely on those teachings she grew up with. Instead, she would be solely focused on her unique body and being able to bond with her beasts.

The perfect crystal golem, wind caterpillar, winter witch, and blazer elemental would be her complete focus.

"That will be good. I could use your assistance to research new beasts we have never seen before. Expanding our knowledge will help you in your mercantile abilities.

It will make all of us better when it comes to material knowledge, beast knowledge, and being able to sell them all." Ella's support proved that she was sure that just expanding their knowledge would go above and beyond what they could do in the future.

"On that note, I should be even more honest. It's more than just a special ability to see details or a little bit. If we are going to go in to these kinds of wilderness… you should all know that i hold a lot back. I don't know everything and I can't explain it.

But there is a lot of information I can learn just by looking at things." Clark came out and said it even more bluntly than what he had ever said. No lies or sweet coating it.

"You think we didn't know that? I am trying to become a scout for the group and here you always know more than me. So just start teaching me what you can." Jerold scoffed a little. He was sure that Clark had always seen more. But he had clearly been wary of being fully honest because it would make Clark an outlier.

"Yeah, we know you hide a lot. But you are the reason that all of us have been able to climb over our hurdles. If you hadn't stepped in when that older student was bothering us, I might be a bunch of bones somewhere left over when a beast had eaten me. So, I will stick with whatever you have going on.

If the wilderness is what it is, then we are going that way." Reese was also very focused on what he would be doing to get stronger. He had trust and that was all that mastered.

"The wilderness sounds like the best idea then. We have everyone agreed. No one looks like they want to go any other way. Staying together has been the best bet for all of us. Clark, you are our leader and you aren't taking a vacation any time soon. Got it?" Maria was forceful, but everyone felt the warmth in her words.

They were family at this point, not just some group of tamers trying to stand together.

"Very good. I know you are all the best students I may have or ever had. So take these maps, materials, potions, and whatever else you need. I know I will be recovering for some time. I have my own friends. Go inside Terra City, get what you need.

When you leave, I will give you a direction to go. You should visit certain dungeons that will help you the most."

Professor Wright clearly had something she needed to do as well. She had to make certain that she could stand with anyone that was needed. Especially if she wanted to be able to make herself the protector that her students needed.

She had taken a hard hit when it came to the summoning of her insect queen. Therefore, she had to recover somehow from that while also calling on some friends to help her get a little stronger. Most of all, she needed to set her students on the right path towards those that would teach them the most.

"Thank you. We will get ready as best as we can. I promise that when we see you again, that you won't be able to recognize us." Clark made this promise to everyone and himself. He was certain that with their drive , that they would be able to grow by leaps and bounds. This was how they had been growing more and more.

Their drive and their unique situations had pushed them further than anyone else their age.

"Then I will see you all another day. I believe there is a familiar face outside." Professor Wright made her way back to her bed as a knock came at the door.

When Clark opened it, he found Purple and his younger sister there waiting. Their faces were serious but also relaxed since they saw that the group was safe. "Good timing. We are about to prepare for a journey to the real wilderness. We are going to be away for a few months getting strong enough to face the cultists and those within our own cities." Clark saw Purple's eyes flash.

It was a clear sign that he was expecting this.

"Then we came just in time as you said. My family will support you. We are your allies already and we will not be stepping back. Everyone in Terra city had heard about Lunar and Solar cities. The fight against the cult will bring everyone together again." This was a growing consensus. This was a keystone to unite people too.
