Chapter 481: More Detailed Plans

Isa held back when she heard what Clark had said. Instead, she was watching the few people that were bidding. "Only three gold? That's nothing. The rate though…" Isa was trying to figure out how the price for a clutch of earth scale snake eggs could be so low. However, she realized that the efficacy rate of the eggs must be lower than she knew.

"In the last three years, multiple studies have been released and circulated about the eggs. Fifteen perfect will hatch while the remainder are dormant or dead. It is a very popular journal to read. It was because the findings completely lowered all costs related to a once very popular beast. Some people still go after it though since it can be very popular."

"With Ella's evaluation I would buy them for at most fifteen gold. It looks like the auction is going to end at seven gold though. Very low and very poor when it comes to auctions…" Isa was saying this out loud for the benefit of the others. But her eyes said that she had already identified her opponents as she reached out and waved a numbered sign from between the curtain.

Multiple people glanced up and wondered why someone with such a status wanted eggs from the earth scale snake. Yet, no one batted an eye. They also didn't push back since Isa had just offered eight gold coins to trump the other offers. "Good, can we resell them with a beast plan at this auction too?

I have a method to guarantee they all hatch." Clark casually dropped this as soon as he saw the auctioneer announce that Isa had won.

"Not this auction, but I can set things up for private sale afterwards. I knew you would say something crazy like that." Isa sighed while keeping her eyes fixed on everything happening on the stage.

The earth scales snake egg is a very temperamental infant. It will refuse to hatch and even starve itself within its egg if it does not have the right conditions. Many tamers fail to understand the exact conditions. Therefore, they will see the eggs perish. The information after what Clark had need of was nothing worth him repeating. But since Ella was already rewriting the plan to help the egg hatch, it was important for him to be clear. Especially since she would be grabbing Grace and Maria to make copies for her. They would need them ready for sale soon.

"So this is what makes you so great. I did speak with your professor Wright. She said I would be very surprised to see what you had in your head. I understand why she insisted that I take the lead here." Vice headmaster Gold didn't seem to be impressed. He kept his serious face the entire time. However, it did appear that he was beginning to understand more of why he should be around.

He also revealed one reason why he had focused on Clark's group so much more.

"The next item is just the eggs from a mud eel. They are not the kind of beast we can easily sell or alter. Clark, agree?" Isa saw Clark nod and was changing where she looked. She focused on the people buying to see who might be after different beasts and who had the money for frivolous purchases.

"Wait, why is there so many eggs at this auction?" Purple was the one that spoke. From his knowledge, most auctions were focused on materials and items. Hence why he had avoided them knowing that they were not useful.

"Now that is what I can answer. You remember that there were a set of tests while you left for your tournament?" Purple needed in response. "Those tests were in dungeons. Therefore, the things brought back were sold and used as grades. Some students found lower level beast eggs, others found materials.

However, a few professors took the chance to monitor more dangerous dungeons to prevent students from biting off more than they could chew. Hence, they managed to gain a few things."

"So the professors also had a chance to make some money. That makes sense. But so many eggs?" Clark was wondering how this happened but he eventually realized. "This keeps the professors from rushing off on random vacations to fight. Terra is very training forward. Even the professors would want to train."

Gold looked proud that someone understood the benefits of this. The money was just a bonus. Not a focus here. The better that the professors trained, the better they could teach what they knew to students. That benefit of real life experience would always be better to pass on than those that had never experienced something before.

"That's odd. They are trying to sell a rabbit statue?" Isa heard them announce that the statue held significant earth energy, however, the statue was small and everyone looking at it seemed to disagree with the value placed on it. Twenty gold coins for that?"

Most tamers would use it to help their beast once then throw it away." Clark knew that most people saw this as a one time use item. Take the energy, strengthen the beast, throw it out.

"I was sure you would spot what I needed since you already knew what I was after." Purple showed his trust before bidding. Soemt thought that it was foolish to purchase something that would become a useless art piece. Only three people bid for it since they understood that a relic was useful multiple times.

But those older people saw and understood who might want to buy something if they were in a higher up private room.

"Here are the mud men eggs we got. Let's see what happens." Isa grew much more interested as their items came to the stage.

"Today we have a tailored beast plan for a mud man egg. Specifically, each mud man egg you see on stage today has their own beasts plan with higher quality details to hatch, train, and grow this beast in to a mud golem, greater mud man, and even a barbaric mud man.

The sale was placed at ten gold but we expect the value you see in this to be much higher after you understand the impressive detail offered by these plans."

A small example was passed through the auction hall. A single page with the descriptions of hatching the mud man egg on stage first. It was so detailed that most merchants had no idea how someone could create such a perfect diagram and hatching method. Even the weights of some energy crystals were taken in to account. Almost unheard of when it came to just hatching.

But the kicker was that the tamer's actions had also been written.

Details of how the tamer should interact with the egg would never been written in a hatching and growth plan. Yet, here it was. In detail too. This stood out from every beast plan that these merchants saw as the norm. Even in such high auctions. It was enough to make many of them question who could make such a pan.

But they saw the name on the list and instantly began putting pieces together.
