Chapter 374: Family Vault

Eating a little food here and there was a little hard to do for most of them. The other year's students had all focused on Clark and his group. This was besides the fact that there were a few glares from certain lackies and an older Mourne family member that was pretending no one else existed.

"You did pretty well out there. I actually came to your match you know." The jolly voice that broke through Clark's thinking about materials was Ella's older brother. He appeared to have already walked out of his moment to grab a material.

"I thought you would have come to watch us. Maria still talks about the training you helped her with. She is still going to use it since she said she can get plenty stronger." Clark was actually very thankful to Ella's older brother. He had given Maria the perfect direction she needed when it came to training.

He was even thinking of asking Maria for help to train his muscles in an efficient manner as she had done.

"That's why I took their best healing and nutrition supplement. They said this potion was the best they had." From what Clark had learned about Ella's brother, he had already figured out his personality. The fact that he was focused on strength and power was very clear. Especially with his beast using vines to stop movement and also protect him. All he needed was strength.

'Elite healing potion- rare

The elite healing potion is made by one of the most advanced alchemists in Nebula. Due to his low energy reserves, he can only focus on one of these top tier potions a month. This one was made with healing after extensive training in mind to help the best of the best return to their training faster.

This potion has the added nutrients and five extremely rare herbs that will lower muscle fatigue for at least a week after drinking it. It will also allow the one that consumed it to more easily absorb energy from their beasts to further enhance the enhancement of their body over time.'

"It does sound pretty good. You should be able to use that for a week or so before it fully wears off." Clark was appreciating this before he noticed that Maria and directed an attendant to him.

"I guess I can't catch up with you here. But don't worry when it comes to the dungeon later I will keep everyone separated." Ella's brother gave a slight wink before Clark was focused on the attendant.

"I have been asked to guide you to the area where you will choose rewards for your entire team and one member of the third year team from Nova. Please follow me." The attendant was very prompt but it was fine. Clark wanted to get through things faster so that they could focus on growing a little more before they went to the dungeon. He was sure that it would be very dangerous.

However, there was also the fact that he had shown off all his strength recently. Everyone now knew he had at least three beasts. But they also knew that Clark was well ahead of the first and even the second years. It wasn't hard to say that all of his team would be able to compete with the third year students if they wanted. That alone was a big threat to the fourth years or their families.

Furthermore, there was the fact that Clark had befriended children from large families. The Rolly and Green family alone would be a big deal. Add in the fact that he had been directly involved in creating a new family for Maria, the Spirit family, and he had even more attention. None of that took in to account the effects having a beast taming planning business would make.

Just doing beast evaluation would have a large effect on people. Especially since the people involved would be focused on the fact that Clark and Ella appeared to see more than they even knew about their own beasts. From there it was just a matter of time before Clark and his team would be ahead of everyone based on their evaluations.

"Right this way." The attendant brought Clark down a set of steps. The difference underground in the arena was shocking. Clark found himself in an icy tunnel. Not a basic stone work basement as he had expected to find himself in.

"Young Miss Illia has instructed me to take you to the family vault instead of the prepared vault for this. I hope that you will understand that honor." The attendant's cold glare made Clark nod unconsciously. He hadn't even realized how powerful this so called attendant was. She was surely one of the hidden family guards.

"Now I understand the appearance. This can't be a normal area." Clark smiled a little to try and break the tense air around him. But the attendant just stopped and opened a door carved from ice.

"Please select nine items and then show them to me before you leave the vault. A special magic rune was carved here so that you can not use a spatial magic at all. The skills to store things are completely cut off for the moment.

If you are interested in how then I recommend you get a unique spatial beast." The attendant seemed to say this to keep Clark honest but it was more shocking to hear since he hadn't expected such a beast to exist.

The second that Clark took a proper look at what was in front of him was the moment that he realized how powerful the Nebula family might actually be after taking control of Nebula back. Even if they were not the true Nebula family, the materials that were organized with the utmost care were clearly won from many battles.

'Spirit resin- ultra rare

The spirit resin is a spiritual sap from a unique spiritual affinity tree. They are wide in variety but this specific resin is best to be used on spiritual and metal dual type beasts. It can help them maintain sharp and refined blades while also helping them increase their rate of absorbing spiritual and metal energy.

This might appear to be a basic item but will radically change the speed of growth for a bladed beast. Even beasts with blades as part of their body can enhance their speed of growth.'

Clark saw the resin first and thought immediately of Reese. But next to it was seven pouches of the same resin. It was enough to be used multiple times in each pouch. He didn't hesitate to pick one up and show the attendant immediately.

His eyes followed the same path looking at every carefully categorized item. The scales from rare beasts were numerous. It appeared that many had been hunted from beasts and organized by rarity. What struck Clark as even more particular was the fact that the beasts hunted were wide in variety and not just ice type beasts which he expected from this area.

It meant that the person who gathered them had not just remained in their comfortable home to hunt.

'Dwarven forged ax- rare

The double bladed ax forged by a dwarf. This ax was brought over from one of the many dungeons that connects to the iron forged continent of the dwarves. Unknown to many, the iron that was forged by a dwarf absorbs their soul energy and increases inequality.

This ax is incredibly durable and can withstand extremely high temperatures. It is also extremely resistant to acids, poisons, and general wear and tear. As long as it is properly care for this ax can be used for multiple lifetimes. It even has the potential to be upgraded over time if the proper blacksmith is used for the reforging process.'

The ax was also grabbed up immediately. Clark knew that Ralph would be able to use it and possibly even forge it in the future. But the fact that the system analysis had hinted that it was the iron forged continent and not another world made Clark wonder. "Has everything we know about other races been wrong? Are they not actually all in another world but on other continents?"

The mumbling was ignored by the attendant but she did raise an eyebrow at the ax since she knew the quality. But it wasn't for her to make any comments. She watched Clark move right to one of the ice type materials she had known would be a focus.

'Young ice phoenix feather- legendary

This is a feather from an infant ice phoenix. It may be weaker than a true phoenix that uses flames but it is still extremely powerful. They are able to freeze the land and were even thought to be extinct until discovered fifty years ago. It was discovered that they go through very long rebirth cycles.

Their eggs will remain dormant and frozen in glaciers for at least a hundred years before they hatch again to live for a thousand years.

They are known to travel to the coldest places on the planet with some people theorizing that they will even remain high in the sky near the coldest storm clouds. This feather holds the newly hatched infant ice phoenixes's unique ice type energy.

Absorbing this ice type energy is impossible but it can assist an ice type beast in rapidly attracting and condensing its ice type energy. It is a necessary accessory if a beast wishes to one day rival the most powerful of ice type beasts. It can also be crafted in to unique items if the chosen craftsman has access to eternal ice.'
