Chapter 356: Elegance In Snow

"And that is why you should never say that you will beat me. It's always best to realize who is the smarter merchant, right?" Isa watched as her opponent was helped off the stage. The blizzard wolf had retreated to her opponent's side, greatly pulling the cold energy in to its body once again.

Most of the audience had not realized what happened until they saw the ice maiden separating from the Nebula student. They then realized that the snow from the blizzard wolf had been used as a blinder for the ice maiden. It had snuck up and made the entire situation poor for the Nebula student.

Having a student from Nebula lose because of the cold was a great insult. Not only did they lose so many points for the school, but this girl had lost to the cold! The Cold! They were in Nebula, the cold was their best friend and yet that was what they had lost in. Meanwhile, Isa was standing there completely fine. The flame sprite had warmed her up and even dried off the melted frost from her body.

"That squall merchant company is going to lose a lot of face here because of that." Clark was trying to think of what the repercussions might be. Since their youngest member had just lost them a match in an environment she would have won in, it was clear that they would be losing a significant amount of business.

Meanwhile, it had made Isa a focus. Basically, Isa had won a lot of free advertising for this win. Especially since there would be a lot of people wondering how the' so called, weaker beasts, had won against a great beast such as a blizzard wolf.

"So, Isa used the Blizzard wolf's cold against her opponent. That's pretty harsh. But it worked great. And it looks like her ice maiden even grew a little!' Maria was very happy with how Isa had handled it. But she was even happier to see that the ice maiden had further solidified its form. That meant that some of the ice type energy from the blizzard wolf had been stolen away.

"Isa is going to be very happy about that. But it looks like she isn't done now. She made that bet and won. We all heard that along with a lot of the audience. That's part of business.

But now she is going to fight the next round against ethereal and Nebula." Clark leaned forward looking at the Ethereal academy student walking on to the arena and crunching through the remaining ice from the Blizzard wolf.

Everyone knew that the arena had been altered by the blizzard wolf's appearance. It was a very good and bad thing. For Nebula academy students, it was an advantage. They would be more at home. The audience saw this and understood that they would have the ability to use this and take back many points from Ethereal and from nova. It inspired many cheers.

From the Nova side of the audience, they saw that the first years would now be at a disadvantage. The Nova academy students were not used to harsh winters of harsh snow. That was why many were at a disadvantage. It would be like fighting in the underground against Terra academy or fighting on the battlefields like Lunar or Solar academies. Both had their advantages and disadvantages.

"I really hate the cold! This place should just get over itself and heat on up for this battle!" The sudden shout and storm of fire that grew around the ethereal academy student was too much.

"That's his beast!" Clark stood up in his own shock. He hadn't even imagined such a beast existed. Yet here in front of him was a literal cloud of lames that was moving around melting every bit of the snow and ice left behind by the blizzard world. The ice type energy had been chased away as if it was nothing.

"Another thing full of madness. We may have a hard time with this one." The boy that had come on to the arena from Nebula already moved to stand with Isa. he had calmly walked with elegance that was unbefitting the average person. "Pardon my entrance, I know it is rude to stand beside a lady without warning. I am the snow dancer. Pleased to meet you.

My beast is similar to your beasts. She is a snowfall fairy."

'Snowfall fairy- rare

The snowfall fairy is a very unique snow sprite. It is the purest form of snowfall and the softness kind of ice type energy. It only ever shows itself during the first snowfalls of winter. Other than that, it will slumber within a specified place.

Those that manage to tame a snowfall fairy are known to have a mark on their body, like a tattoo, that the snowfall fairly dwells within. This enhances their body and allows them to walk along snow and ice as if they are walking on flat land.

Their agility only increases as the winter weather around them grows. Especially when the snow is the first snowfall, the tamer will become much more advanced than many others. There is also a peaceful atmosphere around them at all times that seemed to emanate from the calm ice type energy that resides within them.

Although there is no growth potential, the tamer will always be able to heighten their understanding of ice and snow. This will allow the tamer to take a higher position the more they understand. That alone separates this beast from others. It is not the beast that needs to be stronger but the tamer.'

A snowfall fairy was rare. That was clear. But compared to the ethereal academy student, it was still nothing.

'Volcanic cloud- ultra rare

The volcanic cloud is a beast that is man made. The eruption of a volcano contains massive amounts of fire and poison type energy. However, if the fire energy is forcefully separated and condensed from the poison type energy, then a beast can be formed.

The beast will have powerful fire typing and be able to travel through the air as if it had some wind typing. In the end, it is a beast with a body of only fire. They can instill a seed of their energy within a tame making them a base for their strength and rebirth when enough fire energy is gained.

This makes them considered to be an immortal beast to some degree. It also means that their strength can have a resurgence when it battle. Overall this beast is considered a massive trial to fight since the very air can be filled with devastating flames that can end most like around it just like the volcano that it came from.'

"That's a volcanic cloud. Basically they are fighting a beast that can't be killed unless the tamer is killed too. It's cruel and brutal. Not to mention that Isa and this other guy could have the air in their lungs burned away." Clark clenched his fists. He knew that Isa and Nebula academy were about to face an opponent that they should all lose against.

"Just trust her. Those two are already working together." Ralph reprimanded Clark and even moved to slap him on the back. He sat down next to Clark with a large sigh. It was still clear that his injuries were acting up. But Ralph's own clenched fists proved that he was worried as well.

On the arena, Isa looked at the snow dancer, "I will do my best to keep your path covered in ice. That's what you need right?" Isa was right on the mark. She could tell that there was a reason that this boy had wanted to get next to her quickly after seeing this opponent.

"Exactly. Meanwhile, I need you to also direct the flames away while I try and get him with my dance." Two shining daggers polished to a perfect mirror finish showed themselves to Isa as the boy drew them from two scabbards. He was looking at them as if they were his beloved dance partner.

"Please watch my dance of fallen snow carefully." Isa heard the boy but he was gone before she could comment. His movements were quick and soft. There was no sound as he tread over the melting ice. Even the ice maiden struggled to send out waves of cold to keep the ice beneath his feet frozen.

The elegance in his spins as he dodges waves of flames and ducked under the slashes of heated air made the audience cheer. It seemed that this boy was more famous than anyone realized. This snow dancer wasn't just someone here to fight but a popular figure. The cheers for the snow dancer continued as he moved even more in tandem with Isa's ice maiden.

"Snowdancer! Show us your ice bloom!"

"Keep dancing!"

"We want to see the dance of falling snow!"

All the shouts led Clark to one solution. This was a famous idol here in Nebula. A person that entertained with his beast but could also fight. Now Clark felt that things might change. The battle might be a little better than he thought originally.
