Chapter 236: Meet Shy!

Shy finished the egg shells quickly. She seemed to want to meet Clark's friends since she could tell he was very excited to introduce her. She also had a curiosity for the world around her. She knew it was not as small as the room she was in. she could feel that there was too much to explore. Too much to see.

"Devi, Crim, you two don't have to stay out of the taming space. You can return to rest more." Clark knew that they both needed to rest to recover. It was also troubling that Devi had to use some energy to remain invisible the entire time he was outside the taming space it would be hard on him in his current state.

However, the two refused immediately. They had to watch over their new sibling before they were able to rest any more today. "Well, your two older brothers might end up a little overprotective. But they care." Clark just laughed a little while lifting up Shy who instinctively used her disguise skill to hide herself. It just looked like Clark was carrying a doll with him.

Something that most people would question.

Finding the two girls was actually very simple. Clark opened the door and they were right there. "Maria, Isa. I'm home." The looks of curiosity mixed with annoyance made it clear to Clark that he had to explain quickly.

"I want to tell you about my new partner but we should find Ella. My new partner is actually a beast that was thought to be extinct until now." This bomb seemed to ring in Maria and Isa's ears a little too loudly since their jaws dropped.

"Clark, I know you like shocking us. But can you please take a vacation? We are young now but it could wear away at our hearts." Maria tried to be serious but she was just shaking her head since she should have expected exactly this.

"He would never do that. From what I know he would cause all the trouble and not even apologize after we fixed it. Scaring an entire dormitory? Do you know the cost of that? We lost some valuable points today with a few professors that rushed over here." Isa was more teasing than anything but she did take everything in to account.

A new rumor of a student hatching an egg in the dormitory would be circulating right before the groups left for the major tournament between academies.

"Then to make it up to you both, I will share with you a little bit of what Alexander rewarded me with. I gained a decent amount of materials from my training with him. Well, my test from him." Clark knew that this would help their beast planning business. They were sure to have some students that came rushing to them. A few might even be participating in the tournaments as well.

They would want their beasts at peak performance.

"Actually, Ralph came asking for help. His boar was acting weird. I have never thought he would be so nice to someone." Isa seemed thrown off by this. "But I told him that he had to wait for us to all be back. Coincidentally he asked just the other night so we can have him come back to the lab later." Isa knew she could sue the on grounds mail to have someone send him a letter.

A client was a client no matter their temperament.

"I have an idea of what might be wrong. We should be able to help. But until then, let's go and meet Ella. I guarantee she is in the lab experimenting with something. Or more likely, consolidating a taming space. She didn't want to show me all her plans but I think she was ready to open it." Maria and Isa had yet to see Ella either.

This was perfect. They could all unite again.

"By the way, you two seem stronger." Clark looked at Isa who had a new staff on her back. She was able to carry it at the ready better this way than her spatial ring. She also seemed to want to show it off.

"Yes, I went for a trial at my family dungeon. I learned some history about one of the first women to use the skills I use. She was very strong and her spirit rewarded me. But I will be going back there to beat her when I am stronger." Flames burned in Isa's eyes. She would never forget the strength she had seen.

The fusion of elemental energy to create unique magic attacks with her partners was something that she could not forget no matter what. The perfect combinations and balance could only come from intensive training to understand the four major elemental energies. Exactly what Isa needed to do to get stronger.

"And Maria, you look like you got a bit lighter on your feet?" Clark didn't want to say that Maria had bulked up. It seemed rude. But Maria clearly had more muscle on her body. She was still smaller overall but she had enough muscle to show that she could show anyone the door if she needed.

"Well…I actually trained with Ella's older brother. He said he wanted to meet his new family member. But he stayed and trained with me. He even showed me how General Green trained him and Ella when they were little. I think it taught me a lot. You were right, he is a good person." Clark appreciated that Maria had listened to his opinion.

But he was even more impressed that Maria had trained so well.

"I think you will be able to hold your own a lot better in the tournament. Everyone is in for a shock. Especially when they see that you became even more beautiful-" Clark froze for a second. He had accidentally spoken his mind without a filter. But in his embarrassment, he just started walking faster. He completely missed the red tinge that came over Maria's face.

Both of them managed to miss the smirk that Isa had as well.

With their increased pace. The three made it to the lab pretty quickly. There was no sign of doc or anyone around. Instead, they managed to find Ella laying half on a desk and half on the chair. Her precarious position made it look like she was going to fall over at any moment.

"Ella…this is the ghost of your great ancestor…I have come to challenge you in combat…"

Clark and Maria looked at Isa trying to whisper and spook Ella. However, if Isa had paid more attention, she would have known that Ella had opened her eyes and was reaching for the glass of water on the table.

"I have, I will remain resting for the next few days. My taming space is fairly stable while my beasts need to consolidate their energy. They had more physical form than they ever have. "Come on, show them your cute appearance. I am sure that they will melt when you show off. And if they don't, Crim and Devi are here to defend you." Crim huffed and a soft laugh reverberated in the lab. This was the approval that Shy needed to release her skill.

The moment that her legs and pincers were shown the three girls gasped in surprise. "I thought that was just a doll that you were carrying from a dungeon or something. But that's your new beast!" Maria was the most surprised. She felt she had been perfectly fooled.

"Extinct species… spider threads as hair?" Isa was wracking her brains trying to find a way to make money from this information. Extinct species of beasts were very hard to come by because of how long most have been gone from the world. Their materials were always considered expensive.

"I know this beast. I read a book about them. "Ella seemed the most impressed. She knew exactly what this beast was.
