Chapter 192: Lizard Growth Plans

"The materials you have listed are rare. I will need to send the fourth years back to the lab to get them." Doc was very quick on the uptake after reading the plans and hearing that the materials needed were not at the arena to be showcased.

"I understand. It will be fine to wait. Just allow me to pay for them. I have never seen these two kinds of plans and will not pretend I am not a little skeptical." The Star city lord was able to tell that the growth plans were abnormal. They were not at all the beast plans for the beasts that his two sons currently had.

"How did you four come up with these plans? I find myself at a loss even though I have hired professional evaluations from multiple high class beast planners." The star Cty lord allowed for the plans to be sent to the generals waiting on the side lines along with the headmaster. The others watching him were also able to get the gist of what the four students had come up with.

"I find that many of the older history books have knowledge about rarer beast plans. The hints here and there about the different forms of growth or even evolution can be found through loose fairytales and myths. Some tall tails can even be referenced to find an ounce of truth." Clark was not going to hide that some of these beast plans came from what could only be said to be child's stories.

"I see, and you four have been studying these kinds of books to find things that others overlook? To search for the truth in the lies is always a good quality to have. However, to find things forgotten by others is impressive." The star city lord did not hesitate to praise them. He had a gut feeling that things were going to work out.

"So this is what you have been working on. These kinds of theories have changed the way you think. Where is the in depth research you have always done?" General Green was the first general to question things. She was looking directly at Ella wondering what had changed within her daughter.

"General Green, allow us to demonstrate what we have learned. You should have great faith in the combined efforts of the beast evaluation group that has been formed between the four of us." Ella was matter of fact in her response. The perfect confidence made many question what was going on, especially since some of the other students had begun to see the beast plans.

Many people were questioning what a silver dragonkin and demon spear lizard were. They had either not heard of them or were completely in the belief that they were made up beasts. However, when the students that Doc had sent away returned, they saw that the materials indeed existed.

Even further than that, the beasts were innately attracted to them. Some beasts were able to sense the materials they needed to grow. It was not very uncommon because this was how beasts would grow in the wilderness. Unfortunately, the beasts would rarely find the unique materials they needed leading the beasts to have to make do with what they found overall.

"Now, I need the two tamers to organize the materials based on the designs here for your beasts to consume. Your armored lizard will directly eat the material along with these crystals to boost the acceptance of the change. You may feel pressure as it buries itself in the ground." Clark ensured that the son was able to read the diagram that Ella had sketched.

"And your beast will need to have this venom rubbed on its skin while consuming this, this, and this." The look of worry on the boy's face was great because most people would not have a beast that bathed in another beasts' venom. However, with a look of confidence from those around him, he was able to grab the materials and proceed.

"You are very calm watching this General Mane. any reason why?" General Green had not missed the calmness of General Mane. She knew that General Mourn e was more or less ignoring the situation and would rather be elsewhere, but General Mane was clearly excited.

"I know a gem when I see one. There is one right here that exceeds all others that are currently in this city. If you need to call it anything, call it intuition." There was a scoff from General Mourne who overheard this but General Green did not copy such a sound. She seemed to become more focused. She trusted that general Mane had the right idea.

As the armored lizard acted as predicted and buried itself, the boy grew slightly pale. A silvery streak appeared around him as energy began to rise. The ground was even becoming lighter in color while the energy that had gathered was being produced.

The process was quicker because of the adaptable age of the armored lizard. In just minutes the changed claw of the armored lizard broke through the ground again to the light of day. "Congratulations, that is the first growth stage of the silver dragonkin. It is not truly a dragon but has a very weak dragon bloodline. That is what separates it from a lizardman.

Follow this training plan and get plenty of rest for the next month." Clark handed over a second set of papers that Maria had been writing.

The change that was happening to the other beast was also eye catching. While the armored lizard had been underground, this was happening before their eyes. The crushing aura of a demon that had begun to pour around the needle hide lizard could only be said to be sharp.

The poisonous energy that seeped in to the lizard had caused the spikes to change in to a deep black and red mix while the body had become different overall. Some spikes seemed to change shape in to easy to pull out spear heads while the entire body became taller. The similarities between the two beasts were only in the fact that they had become bipedal lizard based beasts.

The energies around them were radically different.

"I understand that you may find your beast a little scary now. That is because it has become much more dangerous. Just maintain a solid hold on your bond with it and it will never attack you even when in rage.

Follow strict meditative training and you will always have a beast that can claim the lives of your enemies." Clark did not hide the deadly nature of the demon spear lizard's first stage of growth. It was better that he was transparent.

"If I can witness that for another time I will be considered a lucky man. What do the two of you think? Was it not worth it?" The Star city lord clearly had been apprehensive in his trip. Or better to say, that his children had been apprehensive since they had researched the current growth plans. They had never expected such growth plans to present themselves here.

Some of the attendants that had come with the Star city lord came forward to help his two sons away. After a beast growth that was so abnormal, they had been tired out beyond what they could handle. This was entirely because they were so young and many people would not go through such beast growth princesses at their age. This was a massive benefit of having a powerful person as a parent.

"Do I even dare ask what you may be able to do with my daughter's beast plan?" The Star city lord had forgotten about the generals around him. He didn't even care that the students had begun to liven up after witnessing the skills that Clark's group had.

"It would be an honor for us to assist you." Maria took the lead. She was the first to glance the beast that the younger girl had. The beast that was hiding from most people's gaze.

"Then I will allow you to take the lead. Olivia, introduce them to the rarest beast within Star city." The words that the Star city lord used made everyone fall silent. Saying that his daughter had the rarest beast in his city was not something small.

"Yes father. I am pleased to meet you. Thank you for helping my little brothers. Allow me to introduce my partner. This is a shimmering mermaid. As most people who have heard of them, they have a human form and grow much slower than most people.

She may appear to be a seven year old child but is the same age as I am. I will be preparing to enter academy in two years." The period that Olivia had was clear to everyone. Especially since she pointed out the young girl hiding behind her. The young girl that everyone was now realizing had some scale patterns and hair that seemed to be flowing like water even though it was not wet at all.
