Chapter 157: Spiritual Sea Opening

"Lit, this is where I am going to open my taming space!" Maria was already taking some crystals from her spatial ring. She had some spirit gems and crystals. Clark had never asked her what she had saved up. It was clear to see that Maria had been using all of her savings to purchase the materials she needed.

When she had surrounded herself in four piles of crystals, Clark watched her take a library book from Nova academy out.

"This is the only book about the spiritual sea taming space. It's mostly theory but says to make the shape of water runes for the piles. They connect the spirituality of water which means healing and my own energy." Because Clark had not read this book, he could only be surprised that Maria had brought it.

"Did you steal a library book from the academy library to bring with us?" This might have been the sneakiest thing Maria had done so far. Other than covering her face with a mask to pretend to be someone else. That was more acceptable since it was for their safety.

"Borrowed with permission. Doc let me take a lot under his name when I said I was going to bring this for research references." Maria smiled cheekily when she explained this. She had taken a second to ask Doc when they had accepted his laboratory and backing.

After taking a long slow breath, Maria held the spirit sapphire ring in her hands. She clasped it closely before he started to sink in to a deep meditation. The materials around her began to put off their energy in to a bubble around Maria. Clark just wondered if this was how he had looked.

Clark had not had much to think about when he had meditated to get his taming space opened. He had not been told what it looked like from the outside. The materials he had were absorbed by his taming space. But seeing it was very different than feeling it happen.

Since Maria was doing what Clark had done, she was taking in the large amounts of energy from the crystals around her. She was also taking the energy from the spirit sapphire ring. What Clark had not realized was that she had also taken out spirit grasses and other plants from her spatial ring. Some of which he knew were very hard to grow causing them to have a high price.

But what was eye catching was that Maria had also taken seeds out.

'Red apple- uncommon

The red apple is a common fruit, however, that does not mean it is only a basic fruit. The red apple has the potential to mutate in to a spirit apple if nurtured with only spiritual energy within a unique space. Many people do not know this unless they take the time to research the history of the fruit itself.

The spirit apple can enhance the growth of other spirit energy herbs in the surrounding area.

Spirit grass- Rare

Spirit grass is unique to areas that have a great density of spiritual energy. They develop the same as other grasses until they reach maturity. Upon reaching maturity, they will become crystal like and drop small glass seeds. The seeds are not actually glass but contain drops of spiritual energy. They can be consumed to increase spiritual understanding within a beast.

Crystal oak- Ultra rare

The crystal oak is a spiritual plant that has the potential to awaken as a spiritual beast. It takes generations to grow but can drastically increase the spiritual energy that gathers in an area. Even the best plant growth experts might not be able to nurture such a tree. Those that can, would be considered a genius among men.

The crystal oak is one of the rarest spiritual materials to find, some say there are hidden forests of this tree while others say that they have technically gone extinct. The branches can be harvested to make unique healing staves and weapons that channel spiritual attacks.'

The seeds and plants that Clark analyzed had some amazing properties. The resonance they would have within a taming space that relied on spiritual energy was also massive. Even the materials that Calrk had used were not so perfectly melded to what he had needed.

While the materials seamlessly dissolved in to the energies that Maria absorbed, Clark saw beads of sweat from on Maria's forehead. She was exerting a high amount of mental energy to create her taming space. Lit was also assisting her in absorbing the energy while also supplementing her own energy. It was a task that required the two of them in perfect harmony.

The amount of time that Maria had been working on this was something that Clark was not privy to. He had not pushed his nose so far in her business that she was not able to have alone time. Therefore, he was impressed beyond his expectations to see just what she had been doing to get stronger.

Even more so that she was about to open her taming space in the matter of an hour meditating with the tight materials. It meant that she had been preparing this step by step meticulously to break through in a fluid final step.

The shattering of the gems and crystals around Maria signaled them losing all of their energies. Maria's eyes opened wide as Lit melted in to the air along with the last of the materials that Maria was using. Her eyes reflected a sea of stars. An unfathomable connection to her own spiritual affinity.

Within her, she could see the endless sea reflecting the stairs of a night sky. A Place that was full of water but not really water. An energy that was flowing through and turning on itself to reflect what was within a living being.

Lit was calmly floating around observing the plants that grew within the reflective sea around her. She could tell that her healing, spiritual energy, and poison was all welcomed here. The slight poison affinity reflected the dangers of spiritual attacks while her healing reflected the warmth. It all was different sides of spiritual energy.

"It looks like you succeed. Even faster than I did too. Congratulations!" Maria blushed slightly. She was still a little out of breath from the sudden change. The energy on her body was not calm anymore because it was shaping her growth. She would have a major change in strength from here on out due to having a unique taming space.

"I did it! I have my spiritual sea taming space. It's just like yours. It's perfect for me." She stood up shakily in pride before Clark moved to be her pillar to lean on.

"It's a reason to celebrate. Let's go and get the best food we can find before we go to show off to Isa and Ella." Clark didn't hesitate to take Maria's hand. He was worried she would stumble and fall. He knew exactly how tough it was to walk around after gaining a taming space. He wasn't even able to stand after he had opened his.

"Sund like a good plan." Maria didn't hesitate to walk beside Clark toward the market area they had come from earlier. The now lively market which was still silent compared to the beating of Maria's heart in her chest.
