Helen left the room quickly and returned moments later with two wooden bowls filled with fresh milk.
Emma swiftly set Ember down gently on the floor, and Helen placed one bowl in front of each hatchlings.
Both hatchlings sniffed the milk cautiously before diving in face-first and they messily drank the milk, causing milk to splash everywhere.
However, their tiny tails were wagging excitedly behind them.
Seeing this, Emma couldn’t help but giggle. "Look at them! They’re so hungry!"
Hearing this, everyone smiled as well and within seconds, both bowls of milk were now empty.
Ember sat back on her haunches with a fat, round belly.
Then, she let out a small burp while Rime licked his snout clean and curled up on the floor, already looking sleepy.
Everyone laughed as they watched the two little cubs radiating cuteness and Ray smiled warmly before drifting his attention to his own status screen.

Ray’s eyes lingered on the titles he has received recently.
The [’Monster Tide Survivor] title was earned for when he had survived from a ride that nearly destroyed everything and everyone he loved.
The [’Skull Crusher] title was due to his success in taking down over three hundred monsters that night.
’To be honest, I had stopped counting that night after defeating the first hundred.’
’Instead, I kept swinging my sword until there was nothing left to swing at.’
As for the [Wyvern Slayer] title, he had obtained it from killing the Wyvern that had attacked Thornsville while [Village Protector] title and [Ogre King Slayer.] Title can easily be guessed how he had earned such titles.
Recalling his battle against the Ogre King, Ray couldn’t help but smile faintly, recalling how that bastard has nearly killed him.
Luckily for Ray, he was able to put it down before the latter could.
Ray smiled warmly as he moved his attention to his active skills.
Most of them had leveled up significantly over the past few weeks.
Basic Blade Skill was now at level 5 while his Power Strike skill was now at level 6 and Wind Slash Skill was now at level 4.
Clearly, he’s been pushing himself hard since he regressed and it was paying off greatly.
But right now, his innate skills were what was really of interest to him.
Ray focused on his Void Absorption skill.
Of course, this used to be his Absorption skill, which was a decent and really reliable skill that allowed him to absorb the skills of the monsters he had slain.
However, now that the skill had evolved into Void Absorption, Ray couldn’t enjoy this privilege anymore.
Now, this skill allows him to absorb both the physical and magical attacks aimed at him, which also allows him to convert them into temporary mana he can use for counterattacks.
Which means that every hit they land on him, fuels his next strike.
And the harder they hit him, the harder he’ll be able to hit back.
In other words, if his enemies think they are winning, they’re in fact about to lose.
If they think they were gaining victory and were hurting him, Ray could easily turn all of their attacks against them when they least expect him to.
Next came his Void Barrier ability and Void Lance ability.
These two abilities were rewarded to him when he had reached level 15.
Void Barrier, allows him to create a wall or dome of void energy that easily absorbs incoming attacks, thereby helping him to refill his used up mana pool during combat.
As for Void Lance, it was a simpler, yet just as deadly skill.
Once activated, Ray is able to create a long, compressed spike of void energy which is sharp enough to pierce through armor and fast enough that most people won’t see it coming.
Ray’s expression darkened slightly as he remembered the last few days because these two skills weren’t the only ones he had recently obtained.
For days now, Ray had spent hours pushing himself to the limit.
He had been continuously testing what he could do with his Void abilities and if there were any theories he could try experimenting with.
Though, these experiments had nearly cost him his life because it had nearly crushed his heart more than once and it had drained his mana pool dry repeatedly for a couple of occasions.
There were even moments when he thought he’d actually die again but he knew he needed to understand his limits because if he didn’t know what he was capable of, he won’t be able to plan properly.
And if he couldn’t plan properly in the future, he might actually die again.
