Chapter 77. Intense Night With Mira.

That night, after Helen and Emma had gone to bed, Ray and Mira were alone in the room.

The cracked eggs were no longer glowing because they had already been fed in the evening and it seemed they were now asleep.

The window was slightly open as it allowed the cool night air into the quiet room.

Mira turned to face Ray and he reached for her.

The two slowly kissed but to Ray’s surprise, Mira’s hand was no longer on his chest as they had always been whenever they were kissing, now it was slithering down to his bulge in his pants.

And then slowly, Mira pushed him down to lay on the bed before positioning herself above him, straddling his hips as her hands braced on his chest.

Her brown hair fell loosely around her face and her blue eyes were locked on his while her horns reflected the light of the burning candles.

Mira smiled before settling beside him.

Ray’s hand found her hair and moved through it slowly as the two of them enjoyed the silence and calmness of the room.

"I can’t wait to leave this village when the eggs hatched." Mira said softly

"Yeah, but the world outside can be a scary and fun place to be" Ray replied.

"When we leave, we’re not coming back for a long time, are we?"

"No, probably not."

"I’ll miss Emma and your mom though."

"Yeah, me too but I’m sure we won’t wait that long to see them again."

"As long as we get to see them again, I guess that’s fine with me "

"Mira?" Ray called out softly in a serious tone.

"Things are really going to get dangerous and scary from here on out. Are you really sure about this?"

"I know that too and I’m not afraid Ray. I’m an Awakened now, so you have nothing to worry about."

"If you say so." Ray smiled and pulled her up to kiss her properly.

Mira responded with the same intensity and the two of them made love again.

It was slower this time as they both savored the feeling with the desire of enjoying a different kind of pace this time around.

Afterwards, they lay tangled together in the dark and swiftly drifted to sleep.

The next morning, Ray and Mira had woken up very early, despite spending half of the night having sex.

The two kissed briefly before getting dressed but then Ray turned his attention to the eggs.

He began to feed them as usual but to his surprise, while he was feeding the eggs his Wyvern energy, Ray suddenly noticed one of the eggs shifting violently before a large piece of shell fell to the ground with a sound similar to a pottery breaking on the floor.
