Chapter 93: Split Part VII

Chapter 93: Split Part VII

“Then, you want Nam and me to hoard the levels for the guild, too, right?” He asked with a serious voice again.

“That’s right. Just farm some EXP for us, too. And I will bring new members and a lot of profit to you.” Then she smiled widely. “The more you’re stronger, the less chance your stuff would get snatched by the hunters. Same case, if we gain more members and fame, they’d get less confidence to attack. That’s my plan.”

“Fine, fine, I got it. Better now, or never, huh? Even though there wasn’t this hunter thing involved, you were going to assign our duties on building the guild like this anyway, right?”

The reluctant words of the man made Waree who was standing next to him slip out a giggle.

“It won’t be so difficult for us, Na. Because most people don’t know what your real face looks like.” She said. “But I’m worried about you who has a face and name that goes viral like this, Maysa. You guys have to try staying in the town, you know?”

“Sure. Don’t worry.” Maysa said firmly for the brother and sister to be more reassured.

“It’s okay, Miss Nam.” The voice that was faked to be deep and gentle of the glasses merchant added. “I have a way to disguise May’s face from the other players.”

“You do?” Waree looked at the young man with an excited face.

“How are you going to do that, Ae?” Maysa asked. Her thin eyebrows were knitting together curiously. Manoch just turned to give Wisana a cunning smile. And Wisana looked at him confusedly just for a moment, before their brains were incredibly linked to each other.

You know what I’m doing now, right?!

Yeah, you’re such a genius, Manoch!!

After they were done telepathically talking, the glasses guy brought an item out of his inventory at the speed of light.

“What are you doing?”

PONK!!

Suddenly, there was a weird bomb explosion, coming up at the same time as a thick layer of smoke was surrounding them. At that second, Maysa already felt her childhood friend put something in her head.

“What’s this smoke?” Waree yelled.

It did not take long before the smoke started to fade, and every eye widened with surprise. Especially Waree, who was not used to processing this kind of situation. She could not help but hold hands up to cover her mouth, unlike Wisana who curled up an annoying satisfied smirk.

“So cute!!!” Waree shouted aloud.

“Here it comes. WARGHHH!!” Wisana was the other one who shouted, while he went and hugged his familiar little buddy again. Obviously, right now Maysa was the size of a five-year-old with black cat ears and tail!

“Baby May, my child!!” The lolicon held the child in a pink dress up, swaying her left and right, before leaning his cheek in to rub with hers. The victim just made a fed-up face. Her grey eyes sent a deadly gaze to the merchant, and Manoch just replied with a teeth-showing grin that she wanted to slap it off his face.

“Thanks a lot, Ae! I’m gonna kill you!!” That was all she could say because this lolicon would not let go of her to beat that annoying man down soon.

“And this damn lolicon, just get off me. When will you stop being like this? It’s so anno...”

“You’re so cute!” She did not finish when a pretty girl like Waree joined it, making Maysa roll her eyes angrily. Because these siblings were about to commit a murder by suffocating her right now!

“You too, Nam?” The little one cried.

“Na, let me hug her, too. Aw, too adorable.”

“Why? I come first, so I hug first.”

“Hey! Listen. No one hugs me, you lolicon weirdos!”

“Aw! You get even cuter when you’re mad.”

“I’ll take you home with me. I will.”

“Damn it! What’s wrong with you guys? And just wait, Ae. After I can get away from this, I’m going to kill you!” Maysa bawled angrily.

“Before you kill me, you better find a way to survive that first.” Manoch’s stomach hurt from holding in laughter. And the enemy wished she could hit her head on the ground and die just to get it over.

Damn, it takes a day before I can get back to normal again.

“What’s wrong with these people?!”

----------------

It took about ten minutes before the chaos ended. Maysa put all her efforts into pulling herself out of the lolicon siblings’ hands. That explained why she looked very messy like this. The little one quickly avoided them at a corner to manage her stuff for the trip.

“I really don’t want to go to the north now. I still want to spend time with my daughter.”

“I agree, brother,” Waree added.

“Enough. Move your ass, both of you. If you guys are still here, I’ll get withered and die in someone’s hand for sure.” Maysa put her hands on the waist as she was speaking, looking ready to fight.

But somehow, this precocious act made the little one a lot cuter, making the one who saw it want to squeeze her in a hug again. But it was lucky for Maysa that Manoch pulled the birds between them first. Wisana sneakily made a displeased face, while he was grabbing the reins in his hand.

“This yellow one is Gold, and the white one is Snow.” Manoch introduced them perfunctorily, and they both nodded in acknowledgment.

“You already know how to ride them. And the speed potion for the trip, I put them in Na’s inventory. Let them rest once in the while, too. These two are kind of old.”

“’Kay, got it.” Wisana smiled at him, before glancing at Maysa. “So, when do we meet up again, May?”

“I’ll contact you later about that. Don’t worry. We’ll keep in touch with each other all the time. Use the guild channel, though. It can block unwanted signals from someone else.”

“Okay.” He drawled in reply, then got himself on the back of the yellow bird named Gold. And Waree followed, getting on Snow’s back quite easily.

“Oh, and about your key items,” Maysa said.

“What about them?”

“Practice them, too. I think they can be very useful for you if something happens. Read the manual in the box. You already keep it. Right?”

“Yeah, guess so,” Wisana answered, not really minding her because he did not care about reading things anyway. As he could remember, he tossed it in the inventory somewhere.

“Also, about upgrading your skills, if you have a question, just contact Mister Sander and ask him. He’d be glad to answer. He’s your master, anyway.

“Alright, Mom. Do you have anything else to reiterate to your son? I’ve already got the napkin, Mom.”

“Watch it.” Hearing the sarcasm, Maysa was in a ready-to-fight position again, making Waree giggle at how these two were bickering.

“We will get a lot stronger when we meet again.” Wisana turned to smile at the chief of staff and the finance, who were waving perfunctorily.

“Yup. There will be an immense number of members and a lot of money when we meet again.” Maysa said jokingly.

“Then see you later. Don’t get killed before our dream comes true.”

“Sure, until our dream comes true, we won’t.” After her words, Wisana whipped the reins, and the big golden bird started running right away. Waree turned to shake her head at the guild mates again.

“Look after him for me, Nam. This guy’s very reckless. Handle him well.” Maysa ended briefly.

“I will. You take care of yourself, too.” She said, before getting Snow to run after him. Maysa looked as they went quietly, then she turned to speak to Manoch.

“We should get going, too. We’ve got a lot to do.”

“’Kay.”

After that, they started walking with steady steps and the hope to create a new legend with their own hands.
