“...Vincent?” Miguel muttered with a pale face. “H... How did he get into Pride?”

“Those eyes.” Aaron stared at Wisana.

Lucius finally smiled. It was the first time in three days that he started moving. He slowly pushed himself up. The red eyes stared at the enemies in front of him so intently until Wisana smiled challengingly back at him.

“Have you waited long, Lucius?”

He flicked his robe to reveal his hands that were being cracked.

“You never learn, Vincent boy,” Lucius said with a straight face as his people were already in their position for a fight. “As I told you before, you have to learn. People who don’t learn from pain can only be fools.”

“I’m not that type, moron.”

Wisana did not fret. They were only less than ten meters away. Lucius knew right away that something was off, especially the brain waves with higher frequencies and pressure.

“You’ve changed. You’ve learned a lot of stuff in the past three days, I see.” He smiled. “I’m so amazed that you can still bear all that and continue on living. You’re the one with the most damage here.”

“Don’t underestimate me,” Wisana spoke through his teeth. “Who do you think I am that these things can do shit to me? No one can order me around. I’ll carry my own destiny. That’s what I want to tell you, bastard!”

Lucius did not blink for a while.

Eventually, he closed his eyes and started to laugh so loudly that even Aaron and Miguel were surprised. This was the Lucius that they rarely saw. There were only two people who could make him like this. They were Viola and Winter...

If this kid made Lucius laugh this much...

That meant Lucius accepted the kid’s ability now.

As expected of the son of the monsters!

This was bad. It seemed like his brain waves had started to link to the Pride System. Even though it had not been completed just yet, they could not forget that this kid was ‘the only perfect Signerater in this world’.

“You want to carry your destiny?” Lucius was still laughing. “Damn it. It’s been a while since the last time I heard that kind of joke. It was Winter who said that he was going to carry the fate of the world on his own. That was laughable.”

Then, the red eyes opened wide again. He cracked his neck as a warm-up before the last war.

“I’ll warn you for the last time, kid,” Lucius said. “Get out of Pride. Last time you had your mom protect you. There’s no more of that. And I’m not kind enough to go easy on a monster like you. If you don’t want to die, get out of my face.”

Wisana laughed.

He took a deep breath. The warriors behind him stepped away as if they knew what he was about to do.

His burst shook the whole world.

This was not the power of the dragon warrior. This was his pure power without any buff.

The true power of the man named Wisana. The power that was released with his life on the line. The impact almost threw Aaron and Miguel off. Lucius’s eyebrow shook.

What was that power...

It was a lot more than earlier, even though the level was still the same.

“You monster,” Lucius muttered softly with a smirk before he glanced at Aaron and Miguel. “You two get Sander and the rest out of here. Don’t let them interfere with my fight.”

“Now, you bastard.” Wisana smiled. “Let me tell you that I won’t go anywhere without Jinnie.”

He raised his fist up.

“There are so many things I want to tell you, but let me slap your mouth for once and we’ll talk later, you son of a bitch!”

“He disappeared?!”

The scream was from the office in Thailand’s Pride headquarters. The face of the man with a beard around his lips put so much pressure on the listener. Mavin narrowed his eyes and glanced back at the old man at the table. The grey-haired man let out a long sigh.

“What do you mean by that?” Mavin scolded the guard so loudly that he tensed up. “I ordered you to keep an eye on him and now you’re telling me that he’s gone. You think this is fine?!”

“W... We truly apologize, sir, but there’s nothing out of the ordinary at all, even the surveillance camera still showed that he’s in the room. It was when the scientists wanted to get him out for a check when we learned that no one was there. Our cameras were bugged, sir.”

Damn it!

Mavin could only curse internally. The situation had been bad enough. With the disappearance of Wisana, everything seemed to be as Laurent had planned...

It was impossible that Wisana would be able to escape by himself. First, he did not know the way. Second, the guards had been always keeping watch on him. Moreover, he left without any suspicion. He could have been anywhere now.

Other than Viola, the only one who would be able to do this was...

“Alice...”

Mavin muttered softly and massaged his temples.

“Do you want us to start a search?” The guard asked cautiously.

“Of course, you useless guards. He won’t come back on his own.” Mavin scolded him. “Search the whole country. He shouldn’t have the time to go abroad yet. Close every gate in the airport and don’t let him leave the country. If you can’t bring him back within twenty-four hours, you’re doomed!”

“Y... Yes!”

The muscular guard quickly obeyed.

Before he left the room, a tall young man walked in with a straight face. Beside him, there was a girl with a loose ponytail. Her swollen grey eyes screamed that she had been crying so much.

“You don’t need that anymore, Mr. Mavin. It seems like our team’s found him even before you realized it.”

“What do you mean, Laurent?”

Mavin asked surprisingly. The blue eyes of the young man glanced at the old man with a gentle smile.

“He’s in Pride,” Laurent answered. “It looks like he wants to steal the Key of Forbidden back on his own. He went there without even listening to the organization. No, it’s like he doesn’t even care about us.”

“Steal the key? From Lucius?”

“Thada and his men betrayed us.” Laurent shrugged. “They must have been joining hands with Alice and helping Vincent escape. Now, they penetrate Pride to get the Key of Forbidden back from Lucius and our people have been trying to go online to help, but it seems like Alice has the protection to prevent anyone from interfering with them. This is a crisis.”

“Na...”

Mavin muttered softly. In the blink of an eye, he dashed out of the room so fast that Laurent was almost pushed off. The guard could barely catch up to him.

There were only Payu, Laurent, and Maysa, who were still standing there quietly.

The blue eyes glowed strangely and Payu let out a sigh.

“We probably have to hold another urgent meeting after this, Mr. Payu.”

Laurent said monotonously. Even so, Payu did not show any emotion on his face.

“It’s clear that he refuses to be in the organization. What I’m most worried about is his ability. If he’s not on our side, we have to extract his king power as soon as possible. If we have to prepare for the worst and everything goes as I predict, you’re the man who’s responsible for all these, Mr. Payu.”

He was about to walk out of the room when he saw Maysa, who had been standing there for a while now. He only stretched his lips into a straight line.

“I’ll find the way to penetrate Pride, want to come with me?”

The question got Maysa lowering her head and shaking it.
