Chapter 723: I’ll Revolt Against the World! Part II

“Endless power?”

Thada narrowed his eyes while looking at the crystal. Wisana slowly pulled the crystal out of the base.

Everything started to make sense to the GM. Then, he concluded...

“You changed the life of the crystal into the energy?!”

“Mhmm, yeah. As expected of you to be able to figure it out so fast.” Wisana praised him while scrutinizing the crystal. “...Mmm, this is great. Full power.”

“Full power?” Thada raised his eyebrow. “Impossible. You’ve used so much to power this ship. I understand that it should have been a lot. However, we can’t possibly refuel it whatsoever, right? Why’s it still in its full power?”

“That’s because we always have a light power-up field on.”

“A light power-up field? But even so, it can’t possibly refuel the crystal...” Thada paused before he opened his eyes widely. “That’s right! The light field reduces the casting time or skill five times and the only magic that this stone can use is the power-up magic.”

“That’s right.” Wisana smiled at how fast he was. “This stone can self-recover after every twenty-four hours, which is actually the casting time. If you reduce the casting time, it can recover faster. It’s not only the light field, but we also have the power-up field for a field on. That results in only a 1-minute casting time for the stone. That’s why Alexander is with the endless power.”

“I see...”

Thada said amazingly.

Reducing the casting time from twenty-four hours to a minute and using the gap in the skill to the advantage. The crystal was used to its full potential.

“The man who built this ship must have been a genius.”

Wisana laughed.

“If not thinking about how stingy he can be, yeah.”

He looked at the crystal in his hand scrutinizingly. A smile appeared on his face. Thada was so amazed by Alexander’s system that he narrowed his eyes.

“And what will you do with the crystal, Mr. Vincent?”

Wisana did not reply right away. After he pulled the crystal out of the base, the electricity in the ship slowly failed. The engine sound started to die down.

He reached for the base again and touched it gently. His smile was so gentle that even Thada could feel the warmth that he had towards Alexander.

“Thanks, boy. Thanks for everything. I wouldn’t have been here without you. Please rest in peace.”

The amber eyes were slowly closed. The source of light was only the crystal in his hands. Wisana’s eyes began to shine in the dark again.

“Mr. Vincent?” Thada raised his eyebrow a little.

“This is my last resort, Thada.” He smiled. “It’s the power that the Nemesis’s been protecting. I’ll be selfish now. With this, we can cut the difference between the power and the level out.”

“Don’t tell me you’ll...” Thada smiled.

“I’ll merge this crystal with myself.”

----------------

“But it’s risky.”

Thada said with a serious voice, but he was full of hope. Wisana, who was walking in the front, glanced back at him and chuckled. They were out of the engine room and were about to reunite with the rest.

“There’s nothing in this world that you’ll be able to get without any risk. That’s the truth.”

“I understand.” Thada smiled. “But if you merge the crystal with yourself, you’ll become a light warrior. I’m sure that Lucius is the darkness. You know darkness can attack light four times harder.”

“And vice versa.” Wisana smiled back. “Lucius changed his element to darkness. I know it because darkness increases attack power immensely. He has too much power, so I’m pretty sure that he changed himself into darkness as well. Therefore, I have to do this.”

Thada paused for two seconds.

He looked the other in the eyes and felt amazed. No matter how bad the situation was, the man named Vincent did not fret at all. He was confident that he would win!

What a man...

He was saying that the next fight would be a ‘power to power’ match.

What the heck was this kind of man thinking?!

Wisana knew from Thada’s facial expression what he was thinking. He laughed and continued walking to the living room not so far from there. There were no lights from the crystals to lead the way anymore.

“Still a long time before Alice and Ms. June find the enemies’ whereabouts?”

Wisana asked without looking at him. He turned at the intersection. They would reach the living room in ten meters.

“Not so long. I believe that they shouldn’t be so far away from here since they’re with the wounded. Three days wouldn’t cover it. The Cores wouldn’t risk themselves to die in the game.”

“Mhmm.” He nodded and narrowed his eyes. “I hope they’re not far away and Jinnie’s still safe.”

They stopped in front of the door to the living room. The metal door was shut tightly and could not be opened so easily after the electricity was cut. Wisana decided to use the force.

“Sorry, can you help? Without electricity, we have to do things manually.”

“Yesss.” Thada chuckled.

They were about to force the door open when they narrowed their eyes as soon as they touched the door. The brain waves that ran through their heads were trying to warn them that...

Somebody was behind the door!!

Slam!!

The door was slammed open, and a slim body of a girl barged out. She was raising a huge hammer up in the air. The boys narrowed their eyes.

Wisana charged in and called a sword up to defend himself from the hammer. Thada cast the spell and released it at the girl in front of him in a split second.

“AHHHH!!”

The screech got the men halting.

Wisana stared at the girl. She was so surprised that she dropped the hammer on the ground and fell on her bottom.

Now he knew that she was very close to him. The black messy hair and the pale skin as if she had never touched the sun before, along with her dry lips. Her slogan was ‘Move like ghosts’.

“Lala?” Wisana called her name confusedly.

“..Mr. Wisana!?”

Lala seemed so happy.

“Where have you been for so long? I thought you wouldn’t come back!”

----------------

“You evil master! So cruel! How can you even take us to such a dangerous place!?”

The hoarse voice of Lala, the girl from the darkness, was so loud. She hit her master’s chest continuously and madly. She cried until her mascara was all messed up. Rattana sulked at the sight.

“I’m sorry. I totally forgot about it, Lala.”

The master was with a cute excuse. Lala put more force into each hit.

“You idiot! What if Lucius and his men find us? We’re with the wounded, too. What if I die?!”

“Well now, that’s why I’m apologizing.”

Sander scratched his face.

Wisana smiled a little. He was sitting on the soft bed where two severely injured women were.

Wisana gently stroked the first girl’s hair. The black hair was shining against the candlelight on the desk. She was faced down since there was a fatal wound on her back that was wrapped up. Blood was still seeping out of the wound.

Wisana sighed and continued to stroke her hair.

“Here, master Wisana. Please drink something warm.”

A big hand reached out to him with a tea mug. Wisana raised his head and saw Leonard the dog showing his fangs as if he was smiling. He nodded and took the mug with a smile.

“What’s the condition, Leonard?”
