Chapter 718: Wisana’s Decision (2) Part V

Chapter 718: Wisana’s Decision (2) Part V

“We went to the same school, I guess.”

Wisana blinked several times.

He did not want to believe that his mom had been secretly teaching another two. And they were both two of the best players in Pride. He truly believed that they must be some higher-ups in the organization for sure.

‘You’ve prepared everything, mom...’

‘You’re sending these two to be my assistants...’

Wisana thought and finally smiled.

“And you’re outside of the organization at the time like this, shouldn’t it be...”

“Mr. Vinceeeeeent~~~!!”

Wisana had not finished his sentence when a high-pitched voice was heard, followed by loud footsteps. In the blink of an eye, everything in front of him went dark because someone just jumped on him. If he did not have strong legs, he would have been on the ground right now!

“I’m so happy that you’re okay. I’m so happy that I get to see you again!”

The high-pitched voice was still talking. Wisana had to push the small figure on him out. Thada and Rattana shook their heads.

“Wait, who are... GM June?!”

He was surprised at first, but when he saw certain things that proved how this person could be ‘gigantic’ be it in or outside of Pride, he knew right away that she was GM June, the girl who stole his kiss at the Hunting Gate. She was a newly recruited GM who had been away for so long that he thought that she failed the test!

“I’m so happy that you remember me.” June smiled sweetly and buried her face in his chest. “I’ve been following you. Ms. Vincent, you’re still as cool as ever. I fall for you over and over again. I’ve been waiting for this day that I can stand beside you!!”

“Eh? D... Don’t tell me even you’re...”

Wisana was still confused. He tried to push her away, but her hands were stickier than an octopus’s.

“Please, June. Mr. Vincent’s alarmed, can’t you see? Get out of there.”

In the end, it was Rattana who dragged GM June away by her shirt collar, even though she was still struggling to go back to him like she was a baby crying for her mother.

“Nooo! The mood’s just right, Anne. Let me go!”

“Jeez...” Rattana smiled wearily. “I told you not to be too happy. This isn’t a game anymore. We don’t even know what we’re up against. And look at you.”

“That’s why I have to take this chance.”

The girl with black hair and pink highlights said with a cheerful smile. Wisana could not say anything. Thada put his hand on his shoulder.

“It’s okay, Mr. Vincent. June’s one of us, too.” He chuckled. “She’s a big fan, so you can rest assured. She’s more than you can trust. Her skills in computing and anything online are at a high level. She’ll be of use to you for sure.”

“Absolutely, Mr. Vincent. Please leave it to me!”

June made a salute gesture. It was so cute that Wisana wanted to smile if he was not confused as hell right now.

Eventually, Rattana invited everyone to sit on the couch. June grabbed Wisana’s arm and dragged him there.

As soon as Wisana came to his senses, he looked around at the GMs, who were smiling at him. Okay, he admitted that he was surprised that Thada was with him. But now with Rattana and June, he was very confused. The three GMs, who were the core of Pride, agreed to be on his side?

“You must be confused about all that’s happening.” Thada initiated the conversation. “I think you know all about the organization already and Alice must have told you about us, am I right?”

“Ah...well...”

“Not yet.”

Suddenly, a sweet voice sounded from a speaker above them. Wisana was startled and looked up at it. He pouted when he saw the speaker.

“Alice, any electric appliance will do for you?”

Wisana said and everyone giggled.

“The answer is yes,” Alice answered. “As for the earlier matter, I haven’t told him yet.”

Thada laughed at such an honest reply before he lowered his head at Wisana.

“Then, I apologize for the mess,” Thada said. “We’ll be supporting you as our king. Not the King Who Controls like what the organization wants, but the King of The Future.”

“The King of The Future?”

Wisana frowned. He did not understand it. Rattana beamed.

“We’re the people whom Ms. Viola’s gathered in the past twenty years,” Rattana said. “Not only us three, but there’re a lot more than you can imagine. They’re everywhere, including inside the organization. We have the duty to serve you and pave the way for you to come up and fight your own and the world’s fate.”

“It’s an extremely secret group.”

June laughed. Wisana smiled awkwardly and shook his head. It was even more confusing now.

“Extreme secret?” He repeated with a high-pitched voice. “You mean even the people in the organization don’t know about it?”

“That’s correct,” Thada said. “We intentionally infiltrate the organization to pave the way for you, according to Ms. Viola’s order.”

“My mom’s order?”

Wisana raised his eyebrow. If he recalled correctly, Alice used to tell him that his mom had predicted all of these.

“As for what’s about to happen from now, it’s all up to you, Mr. Vincent.”

Rattana’s words brought him back to reality.

“Up to me?”

“Yes. No matter what you choose for your path, every way will be the toughest one. That’s why I want you to make sure that you’re certain before you do anything. However, no matter which way you choose, we’ll all be behind you and will follow your every order to the end of the line.”

Silence overtook the place. For Wisana, everything went by so fast. It would be a lie to say that he had coped with it. What he did know was that these people were his mom’s apprentices and they would not hurt him.

They hoped that he would soon become a leader like his mom...

No, it was more like someone who walked along the assigned path...

The more he thought about it, the more confused he was that he had to massage his temples. June eventually released his arm. The three GMs looked pretty tense.

“What the heck should I be deciding?!”

Once he started talking again, a cold canned beer was pressed against his cheek. Wisana was startled.

“You guys have been so loud. Don’t you know that it’s my nap time?”

The familiar hoarse voice got Wisana turning his head. He saw a middle-aged man with black messy hair that proved that he had really just woken up. His eyes were dark and strangely deep. He had some beard around his lips.

He held two canned beers in his hands. One of them was offered to Wisana.

“Mr. Sander!?” Wisana shouted.

“Yeah, it’s me.” He replied with yawns. “Just take it. You’ve been in a serious conversation for a long time. A cold beer can help, boy.”

Wisana took the beer, still confused. First of all, how did he get in here? Secondly, he only had his worn jeans on. His naked torso was actually pretty muscular, and it was almost unbelievable that he was already forty-nine.

“Mr. Sander! I’ve told you so many times that there’re two girls in the house. Please dress nicely and act your age!”
