Chapter 717: Wisana’s Decision (2) Part IV
Chapter 717: Wisana’s Decision (2) Part IV
“..Alice... errr... are those...?”
“Our allies. Now, let’s hurry or we’ll keep that person waiting.”
Wisana kept walking, confused. ‘Allies’? And what about ‘that person’? Once he turned around the corner, he halted.
He was in the lobby now. It was six o’clock in the evening. There were only a few people here. It was impossible for him to walk past any of them without being suspicious.
“Alice... How can I get out?” Wisana talked on the phone. “How should I blend in when there’s no one? There’re three, no, four black guards in the lobby, and the employees, too. I’m suspicious enough in this outfit.”
“Don’t worry.” Alice still insisted. “Just walk out like this. I guarantee that it’ll be easy as if you’re walking in a beautiful garden.”
Wisana narrowed his eyes. He leaned out to take a look again. Damn it, he could not see any way out. There were more or less eight surveillance cameras there!
So be it!
If it really came to it, he only had to knock four guards out and it was finished.
Then, he decided to walk out right away. His brain ordered his heart to stop pounding so fast. Every step he took was without worry.
The tall man walked into the lobby hall with confidence. His eyes looked ahead only at the exit. At that moment, conversations started behind him. There were a lot of employees dressed in formal attire.
Before the guards even turned to Wisana, he was already swallowed by the crowds, blending in.
“Haaahh~ Damn, so many things to do. I don’t even know how many days it’d take for the server to be retrieved.”
“I’m freaking starving.”
“Heck, there’s been so many meetings. I have to ask my neighbor to pick my kid up from school.”
“You’re lucky. I’ve never been back home for three days now. My wife’s going to be an earsore.”
“You’re so unlucky. A single man like me is so good without that burden.”
“Sounds like you’re being sarcastic at yourself.”
“Well, well, we only have one hour break. What should we eat?”
“Pa Yon restaurant? I want some super spicy papaya salad that takes my intestines out.”
“You’re always like this.”
The conversations were so loud that the guards and other members of the organization turned the other way, leaving more than thirty people to walk out of the building.
No one cared about anyone. They were only employees who just got out of the meeting and wanted some food.
They walked out of the building. However, there was only one man who secretly parted ways. While he was walking, a lot of hands reached out and touched him.
“You can do it, Lord Vincent.”
“Don’t give up. We’re here for you.”
“We’ll help you no matter what.”
“Please keep being our graceful king.”
Those words were as soft as a whisper. They finally left Wisana alone. He looked at them in awe.
“Alice, those people...”
“I told you, right? Viola’s already paved the way for you.” Alice laughed. “Not only them, though. They’re even less than 0.0001% of the people around the world who are on our side.”
He was still in awe.
Mom was so incredible.
The things about the organization were alarming, but how his mom prepared all these for him to fight his own fate, he did not know what to say to honor Mrs. Wimon. How far had you predicted, Viola?!
“Please, hurry, master.” Alice aroused him. “We may be out of the building, but we shouldn’t hang around here for long. And don’t forget to keep the hoodie on until we’re safe.”
“..Mhmm.”
Wisana said softly and glanced around.
He was finally out of the Pride building. The sky that he had not been seeing for three days was so beautiful. Even though it was almost nighttime, the orange sky was the best one of all.
He turned to the blond Toyota Camry that was parked beside the building where not a lot of cars were around. The engine was roaring as if it was waiting for him to walk there.
Wisana decided to walk straight to that car. He glanced back at the building with worried eyes. His mom’s body was inside there. She would be alright. He kept telling himself that. Mom would be fine in there.
At least, Mavin was still sane...
He would definitely protect her.
He stopped in front of the car. He slowly opened the door to the back seat. As it was not locked, he was quite certain that it was this car. He threw himself inside the car. The cold breeze from the air conditioner hit his face. His amber eyes looked around. He only saw a tall man in the driver’s seat.
“You’re faster than expected.”
The man greeted him cheerfully.
The voice was so familiar to Wisana. Even though they were not that close, he remembered it.
His pale face with big sunglasses.
The man slowly took his glasses off and turned to smile at Wisana. Wisana almost laughed, but the surprise could only allow him to smile back.
“I suspected that you were one of those guys, but I didn’t expect you to be on my side.”
Wisana said gently. The driver chuckled. He brushed his long black hair back and bent down respectfully.
“I hope you don’t mind that I’ll be serving you, Mr. Vincent.”
“Of course not.” Wisana smiled. “I’m relieved to know that you’re with me, Thada.”

“Welcome to our temporary base, Mr. Vincent.”
The gentle, yet cheeky, voice said as the door was slowly opened to reveal the dimly lit room inside an apartment in the Rangsit district. It was luxuriously decorated and cleaned. The living room was filled with simple, yet luxurious furniture. The light atmosphere and the scent made it very relaxing.
Wisana slowly walked inside and looked around scrutinizingly.
He took a deep breath and exhaled softly.
This kind of atmosphere really made him feel safe.
“I hope you’re alright with this. It’s only temporary anyway.”
The long-haired man said before he closed the door and walked up to Wisana.
Wisana smiled a little.
“Better than the narrow room in the building.” He sighed. “I thought your base would be in a mess. What the heck, this is luxury.”
“Not that much, if you compare to the earlier state.”
That was not Thada, but a sweet voice that was from the inside of the room. The two men halted. Wisana turned to the source and saw a woman with her hair put up in a cute bun, revealing her graceful neck. She was in a white wide-neck shirt. She wore no make-up, but she was still very cute.
“Ms. Anne?” Wisana raised his eyebrow.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you again, Mr. Vincent. In this good-looking state, I mean.”
He had met her several times, yet he remembered her well because of her beautiful face and her gentleness.
“Even you’re the one whom my mom...”
“Yes.” Rattana smiled. “Maybe Da hasn’t told you this, but this guy and I have been trained by Ms. Viola. Well, you can say that she’s our teacher.”
“Teacher?”
Wisana raised his eyebrow a little and glanced at Thada. He lowered his head.
“She told us everything about the organization and taught us how to control the Signetic since we were five. Even though she had already resigned from the organization at the time, Ms. Viola still taught the later generations of Signeraters to control their Signetic correctly. Her students are both of us and you.”
“We went to the same school, I guess.”
