Chapter 716: Wisana’s Decision (2) Part III
Chapter 716: Wisana’s Decision (2) Part III
Damn it, what had he become to be able to download anything he wanted directly into the brain?!
It was convenient, but... Heck, this body got used to it so fast.
“And what you do want me to do, Alice? I trust you, but that doesn’t mean that I’ll do anything, lady.”
Alice laughed happily. The man narrowed his eyes.
“Don’t worry. I’m just happy that you said you trust me.” She giggled. “First of all, I have to get you out of here.”
“Get me out?”
Wisana raised his eyebrow. He was hesitant.
“That’s why you gave me the gun.” He sighed. “Let me tell you. I can use guns, but I don’t kill. How can I even get out of this hell hole? They definitely won’t be letting me go on a red carpet.”
“Don’t worry.” Alice giggled. “I told you that Viola’s already created a path for you and a lot of people are supporting you with all their hearts. We can definitely escape. Please believe me that no matter how lonely you may be, you won’t be alone, master.”
----------------
Even if she said so!
In the end, he had to do this alone!
The tall man was walking cautiously in the quiet underground path which was dimly lit and looked so much like a hospital at night. There was no natural light to tell him the time of day at all.
“Are you really sure, Alice, that it’s safe? I know there’re no people here, but wouldn’t it be bad if I happened to run into one? I repeat, I can use guns, but I’m not killing anyone.”
“I understand, master. That’s why we’ve prepared the path that avoids fighting. Next, turn right over there.”
The last words got the man halting and quickly turned right as he was told. He looked at the phone screen. In the end, she was telling him the way anyway. Why the hell did she have to put the map in him?
She only wanted to show off her ability!!
You freaking AI lady!!
“Hey, will that surveillance camera really fool the guards?”
Wisana asked while walking. It seemed like the elevator to the upper floors was in front of him.
“Absolutely. I’ve recorded so many poses of you sleeping. I think it should be able to deceive them for at least five hours. The guards won’t dare to step into your room anyway. You shot two and broke one’s arm that day.”
Wisana laughed awkwardly.
To be honest, he could barely remember anything because he was very angry at the time.
Finally, he got himself and the heavy coat into the elevator. He secretly cursed the man who built this place so freaking unnecessarily big. It took about ten minutes from his room to the elevator. It was so surprising no one was walking through here!
As soon as the elevator doors were closed, Wisana turned to the control panel with so many buttons. If he recalled correctly, the elevator required a pass card. His sister used it when he got here.
“Hey, Alice, how do we get this to work? We need an ID card, right?”
“No problem. Touch your phone on that sensor.”
“Huh?”
He was still confused, but he did as he was told. There was a soft beep sound and the elevator started to move. It was going to the first floor.
“See?”
Alice’s voice was so delighted that Wisana sulked a little.
“Can you do everything, Alice? Don’t tell me you can give me a million in cash if I ask for it?”
“Do you want me to create an account and put the money in it right away?”
“Woah, I’m just kidding. Can you really do that?”
The man yelped and smiled awkwardly. Okay, he believed it now that this lady could do anything. He wondered if she would destroy a neighboring country if he asked her to.
“Alice,” Wisana said. “Can I see mom again?”
The question seemed to make Alice hesitate. Eventually, she spoke softly.
“I’m sorry that I have to say no. There’re too many guards and it’s too risky.”
“Is that so?” Wisana let out a long sigh. “What about my sister? Can I take her with me? I don’t want her to be in this hell hole. Can you take me to her?”
“Don’t worry about that,” Alice replied cheerfully. “Ms. Wipada didn’t want to be in this organization in the first place. She’s been on our side. However, she has to do this for Viola’s safety until her body is sent to the bottom floor. She’ll catch up with us.”
“Will she be safe?”
He seemed hesitant. His sister was only an ordinary girl with no fighting skills like him. She did not have anyone like Alice with her either.
“Don’t worry, she’ll be. Her husband, too. I promise that I’ll take good care of them.”
“Okay. That’s a relief to know.”
He slowly leaned against the wall wearily.
The number on the display was counting down. It was going above the ground with an incredible speed. In a flash, Wisana felt heavy in his heart since he had to walk past a lot of people out of this building.
He had received a big coat for a cover, but he did not think that the hoodie would help him much.
“Master, please put the hoodie on.”
While the elevator was still on the sixth floor below the ground, Alice said with a smooth tone.
“Eh, hoodie?”
“Yes. I’m not giving you that coat to cover only your face. It can also hide your brain waves. There’s a special rubber on that hoodie that helps you with that. Please wear it since there’re detectors everywhere here.”
“Mhmm. Understood.”
He put the hoodie on. This coat was actually too heavy to be a normal coat anyway...
He was getting excited...
He loved action movies about a protagonist infiltrating the enemy’s organization. Who would have thought that one day he would have the honor to be that guy?!
Ding!
The elevator finally stopped on the first floor. As soon as it sounded, Wisana found it hard to swallow his saliva.
The doors opened and there were a man and a woman standing there. Wisana tried to keep calm, even though his heart was pounding so hard. He was sweating like a waterfall. He grabbed the gun in his coat without even knowing it.
However, the man and the woman were too calm to be true. It was as if Wisana was not there.
Wisana rushed out of the elevator, wondering if the hoodie coat was really that good. But he was wrong...
“The car is out front. It’s a blond Toyota Camry.”
“Eh?”
A man said while walking past Wisana as if he was talking about the weather.
“Don’t worry and keep walking forward. Somebody will help you out.”
A woman who was next to him said. Wisana walked out of the elevator and glanced back at them. They smiled at him before the door closed.
“We’ll leave the world’s future in your hands.”
They said, leaving Wisana in awe. He blinked several times. He wanted to smile, but he could not.
“..Alice... errr... are those...?”
“Our allies. Now, let’s hurry or we’ll keep that person waiting.”
