Chapter 715: Wisana’s Decision (2) Part II

Chapter 715: Wisana’s Decision (2) Part II

“It wasn’t a dream. I pulled you into another dimension and pushed your brain wave to its max capacity. The Whisper was about to be awakened anyway, so I was only rushing it.”

The man went quiet for a while.

“I kind of understand that the Alice System is taking care of every player’s brain wave circulation, but you, the thinking Alice, your commanding part is lost. How could you order the Alice System to work?”

Alice laughed cheerfully.

“Even though I’m split, that doesn’t mean I can’t control the Alice System.”

Wisana scratched his head. He was surprised that he was strangely calm listening to this lady. The tension had been reduced a little at a time. His brain started to relax.

Was it because Alice was using the radio frequency of the Alice System to heal his messed-up brain through the phone? This AI was unbelievable!

“Okay, Alice, I still don’t understand why you and mom would keep your watch on me, but I believe that you and mom aren’t with the organization.”

“I’m glad to hear that, Mr. Vincent.”

Hearing that, Wisana grinned.

He did not understand either why he believed this AI. Her voice seemed to be different from those people in the room. It was warm and safe. Even though she was only a voice, he could feel that he was safe with her.

“Then, let’s jump to the point, Alice.” Wisana cut their conversation short.

“Yes.”

“What do you want from me?”

“As I said, I’m here for you to decide what to do next.”

The man pressed his lips and nodded.

So be it!

He wanted to know what would happen. The organization with him as a superhuman who controlled the whole world. He did not have to be scared anymore!

“What kind of decision?” Wisana asked with a firm voice.

“Your next step, Mr. Vincent,” Alice said. “The path you’ll be walking on will be full of obstacles. I’ll be your guide.”

“My guide?” Wisana frowned. “What do you mean?”

“We’ll talk about that later,” Alice said. “First of all, I’d like you to know that you’re not alone. No matter what you decide to do, I’d like you to realize that a lot of people are supporting you. Maybe a lot more than you can imagine. Because what Viola’s left for you, I guarantee that it’ll help you immensely.”

“What my mom’s left for me?”

The young man was still confused. At that moment, the door to his room made a beep sound. It was a sign that it was now unlocked. Wisana was so alarmed that he had to put his phone down. Someone was definitely in the room. If he learned that he was talking to Alice, it would not be good.

“...Don’t worry, Mr. Vincent. That’s our people.”

Alice made him focus again. Wisana was hesitant if he should continue talking on the phone. He leaned out and tried to see who that person was. What he saw got him opening his eyes widely.

There was no one there.

And the door was opened wide as if it was inviting him out.

There was also a small shoulder bag at the door.

“What do you mean our people?” Wisana raised his eyebrow as he talked.

“Save that for later. Please hurry and grab that bag.”

Wisana narrowed his eyes. He slowly got up and cautiously walked towards the door while glancing at the surveillance camera that was still off. Once he reached the bag, he leaned out the door and looked around.

That was how he learned that no one was at the door, even though the guards had always been in front of his room. It seemed like they were gone now. There was no one here.

“Hurry up, Mr. Vincent. We only have five minutes and thirty-nine seconds left before the guards for the next shift arrive. Quickly put the clothes in that bag on.”

Again, Alice seemed excited and that confused the man. He switched his phone to speaker mode and threw the phone on the bed before he checked what was in the bag.

The first thing he got was a big black coat...

“A coat?”

“Yes. Please hurry up and put it on.”

There wasn’t even time for him to look at it closely because Alice was rushing him. He put it on over the white shirt that he had been wearing for three days. It was very big and heavy. There was a hoodie on it, too.

“What’s next?” Wisana asked.

“There’s more in the bag. Please put everything on.”

Alice prompted him to check the bag again. Now it was a hard metallic object with the right size. He frowned and wondered what it was. Once he took it out, he narrowed his eyes.

“A gun?”

“Yes. The 9mm. SIG SAUER P226 with fifteen bullets per magazine. This is the special model that we produced to avoid being detected by metal detectors.”

Wisana raised his eyebrow. He looked closely at the gun and racked the slide.

“So, why the gun, Alice?”

“Just in case. This one is the easiest one to use. I hope you know how to use it.”

“Of course, Mrs. Wimon taught me everything. I can even fire the AK. What do you mean, just in case?”

He looked inside the bag and there were two magazines left in there as spares. He took them out and placed them on the bed.

“Please put your phone on your forehead.”

“Huh?”

“Do as I say, quickly.”

Alice’s voice started to get harsh. The young man sulked a little before he put his phone back to his ear.

“Not like that. On your forehead.”

“H... Huh? Why would I do that? Wait, you can see me?”

“Don’t ask too much. Hurry up.”

Wisana had to do what she said. He was still wondering what the AI was doing to him. Once he put the phone on his forehead, his brain stung as if someone was shaking him so hard he almost fell on his back.

“W... What the hell?!”

The young man screeched. He closed his eyes and a map of a building appeared in his mind, making his head ache. His lips were pressed hard, and his breath got stuck. He dropped to the ground and panted very heavily until the pain was gone.

“W... What the hell have you done to me, Alice?!”

Wisana yelled loudly at her before he put the phone back at his ear. His face was covered with sweat.

“I just downloaded the map of this building directly into your brain. It’s the fastest and the most convenient way, don’t you think?”

“Download the map into my brain?”

Wisana frowned. His left eye twitched a little. He did not know how his brain could make out where he was in the building and every path in it.

“How is it? It works very well, right?”

Alice said cheerfully. The young man clicked his tongue.

“Yeah, I admit that it’s convenient, but tell me in advance if you’re going to do something like this again, okay, lady!?”

“Roger that.”

The AI said with a sweet voice. Wisana slowly pushed himself up. It was strange. At first, when the map was being downloaded, he felt nauseated. However, now it felt like nothing had happened.

Damn it, what had he become to be able to download anything he wanted directly into the brain?!

It was convenient, but... Heck, this body got used to it so fast.
