Chapter 705: Viola (End) Part VII

Chapter 705: Viola (End) Part VII

“What about Lucius?”

Maysa asked. She looked up at the man who was still trying to expand his energy ball.

“Let him be!” Sander yelled at her. “Right now, your lives are what matter most. Lucius’s serious. He’ll kill us all here. Don’t worry about anything and run.”

A moment later, Alexander arrived. Manoch did not want to get too close or the ship would definitely receive the impact from Lucius’s energy ball. The white ship slowly lowered itself close to the ground.

“Everyone, get in here!”

It was Manoch’s voice. Everyone looked at each other hesitantly. Sander had to shout again!

“Quick! What are you waiting for? We have to leave now! Run!”

Nuchjaree and Tunwa seemed to hesitate. They glanced at Viola.

“We have to leave, Nuchjaree. What are you doing?!”

“Sven!? Wait!”

Sven was the sanest one here. He grabbed Nuchjaree’s hand and dragged her towards the ship. Tunwa frowned and was about to follow them when he suddenly realized what was going to happen. He halted and turned to Viola.

“Go, Tun.” Violas smiled.

“But... auntie...”

“Just go.”

Tunwa gritted his teeth. He clenched his fists as if he wanted to say something, yet he eventually decided to follow Nuchjaree.

“Kong, Angie, quick! Get Pixies to carry the unconscious inside as fast as possible!”

“Y... Yes, sir!”

Everyone followed them to the ship, except Maysa, Sander, and Wisana.

“M... Mom!”

Because of the numbness, Wisana could not really move at will, but he was still able to raise his hands. It was as if he was a baby who yearned for its mother. Viola said nothing. She only looked at her son.

“No, mom. Please, I beg you. Don’t do that.” His voice was hoarse. “I don’t agree with this. Please, don’t do it. Mr. Sander, put me down! Mr. Sander!!”

The two adults were silent. Sander breathed in very deeply and started to run.

“Don’t do this, Mr. Sander. Let me down. You can’t leave my mom there. Let me go!” Even without the energy to resist, Wisana tried his best to struggle. Sander did not seem to slow down. “Mom!! Don’t do this to me, please! I love you! Don’t leave me like this. Come back to me. Can’t you hear that I love you? I don’t care how I was born. Please, mom~~!!!”

The cry of her son got into the mother’s heart.

Tears started to run down her cheeks again, along with her sweet smile.

“Thank you, Wisana. Your words help me a lot.”

She muttered to herself while looking at her son who was still struggling in Sander’s arms.

“You go, too, Maysa.”

She said without looking at the girl.

The girl was still staring at the Goddess of War. She wanted to memorize everything about the woman who was worthy to be called a heroine.

“Go. Step into your brighter future.” Viola said. “No matter what will happen, continue to walk forward. Believe in yourself, Maysa. Choose what you love without hesitation.”

Maysa slowly closed her eyes. She breathed in so deeply that her body swayed.

“You know everything from the start, right? About me?”

“Yes,” Viola said. “I know about you from the start.”

“Even so, you still...”

Maysa was speechless.

The older woman smiled at her. It was a gentle smile.

“That’s because you love him, right? You love my son with all your heart.”

Maysa could barely hold back her tears. Yet, she forced herself to smile at the woman in front of her. It might be the last smile that she could give to her.

“Good. Smile more.” Viola nodded. “It’s very beautiful. Don’t forget about it, Maysa. And don’t forget what you promised me.”

“...Yes, Ms. Viola.”

And the last girl ran away.

Viola looked at everyone trying to get on the ship. No matter how bad the situation was, she strangely felt so much happiness in her heart.

“ ‘I love you, mom,’ huh...” She murmured. “He’s always been a mommy’s little boy anyway.”

Then, she looked up at the sky. The Claymore sword appeared in her hand.

The energy ball was now close to fifty meters in diameter.

Viola smiled calmly. She pointed the sword at Lucius.

“Come at me, you son of a bitch. Let’s end our fight!!”

Six swords spread out behind her and formed wings. She gathered her power and flew up. It was at the same time that Lucius threw the energy ball down to wipe everything off the earth!

The red energy ball slowly moved downward. Its destructive power was so much that the whole Pride was shaking. However, Viola did not seem to flinch. She gritted her teeth and burst out every bit of power that she had.

“I won’t let you do anything to them, Lucius!!!”

BOOM!!!!

The first impact made the ground explode. The small body of the woman collided with the energy ball. Viola flipped her sword horizontally and tried her best to push the energy ball back!

“Q... Quick, Sander! Get the kids out of here!!!”

----------------

“Let me down! F*cking let me down!!”

Wisana’s struggle continued, even now that Sander had already dragged him up to the ship.

“Is everyone here?!”

Sander turned to the kids, who were still staring at the energy ball in awe.

No one answered. Maysa was the last to get into the ship. She put her hand on Sander’s shoulder.

“This is all.”

“No, my mom’s still out there!” Wisana screeched. “F*cking let me go, Sander! Aren’t you friends with my mom? Will you let her die there? Let me go. I’ll go help my mom!”

No one spoke anything. Maysa turned the other way as if she did not want to see what would happen next.

“Manoch, out.”

Sander said softly while looking at the floor.

The door to the ship slowly closed. Alexander floated up into the sky again.

“Ae, stop the ship. This is an order! Please, stop, you idiots. Let me go!!”

His strength started to come back to him and finally got away from Sander. He tried to open the door again, but Sander locked him from behind and did not say anything.

“Let go of me! Please... let me go...”

He drooped wearily. Tears ran down his cheeks.

“Viola chooses to end this by herself. You have to respect her decision, Wisana. Look at her with the eye of the son. Look at her last moment.”

Wisana said nothing. His sobbing echoed throughout the ship. Not only him, but Tunwa and Nuchjaree also cried silently.

----------------

“Go on full speed!!!”

Manoch screeched in the deck. Mek pushed the controller to accelerate the engines to the max.

Right now, Alexander moved forward at its full speed. Even so, everyone was still staring at the energy ball with a worried face. If it exploded now, the impact would be vast. According to Aerin, no matter how fast Alexander was, it would not make it.

“The air pressure is immense, Mr. Manoch. We won’t make it if this goes on.”

Manoch signed softly as if to say that he already knew that.

“Release the full Overlimit.”

“E... Eh? But if you do that, the ship will...”

Warunya said loudly. She knew that Alexander did not have that much energy to release the Over Limit anymore or the ship would break.

“All the lives here matter most. The only place that will explode is the engine room. It won’t affect anyone. Do it now. We don’t have that much time.”

The operators looked at each other. Mek slowly closed his eyes.

“Releasing the Over Limit. Warning: Alexander isn’t ready to release the Over Limit. There’s a chance for Alexander to explode.”

----------------

The golden bright light in the sky got Viola smiling happily. Alexander was now moving at its full speed. She was filled with hope, even though the energy ball in front of her was pushing her down towards the ground.

No matter how much she pushed, she could not push it back.

Her amber eyes looked up. Lucius was there, pushing the energy ball at her.

She smiled.

Her smile was so confident.

“See that, Lucius? See how strong my and Winter’s son is?”

She said cheerfully, even though she was being pushed and her Claymore sword was cracking. Her hands were burned.

“It’s useless no matter how hard you try. My son will always get back up on his feet. He’ll be stronger. He’ll change this world into a real peaceful one. If you still resist, prepare yourself for the worst. You’ll never be able to beat him. He’s my son, Lucius.”

The woman was being pushed lower as she spoke, adding more injuries to her small body. However, she did not show pain at all.

Her amber eyes turned to the golden light that was moving further away now with her confident smile and her heart full of happiness.

“I’ll leave the rest to you. Protect this world.” She closed her eyes. “And spread your wings, my son. Fly proudly with your beautiful wings. Fly to where you want to go... Wisana.”

----------------

BOOM!!!!

Finally, a massive explosion occurred. The impact was so intense, even though Alexander was about fifteen kilometers away from it now.

Sparks and flames gushed into the sky, painting everything red. Every eye was fixed on it. Sander closed his eyes and finally let go of the boy.

The air continued to shake. Wisana did not care about anything at all.

He slowly walked to the door at the rear and looked out the small window.

He put his hands on the door and hit his head on the window as hard as he could.

His breath was blocked. His throat was hot. Without realizing it, tears ran madly down his face.

“You told me not to do anything stupid, but you’re doing it yourself.”

His voice was hoarse. He breathed in loudly with difficulty.

“Why are you doing this, mom~~~~~~!”
