“Shin!” Wisana shouted.

“Damn it!”

The beam was shot out.

Shin evaded it at the very last second. However, he still got hit. His right arm was shot so badly that he could barely lift it up!

“You’re good that you can still dodge that.”

What was more surprising was Lucius. He disappeared and popped up behind Shin without him realizing it. It was as if he knew that Shin was coming in this direction!

“Let’s see iinu’ll survive it again this time, kid,” Lucius said in a low voice.

“Who’d let you do that!?”

Before the red-haired beast did anything, Wisana dashed at him. Lucius was forced to get away from Shin. Wisana threw his fists at Lucius continuously. Lucius had to dodge them and counterattack.

“You’re so annoying, Vincent. Can’t you let me finish you off one by one?”

“The annoying one’s you!”

They got into close-range combat. The fist fight was so fast no one knew who was holding the longer straw right now. It was unbelievable that none of them got hit by a single punch!

Their aerial fight was so powerful that the ground shook.

Shin gritted his teeth and decided to call the Longinus up again, even though he could not even move properly anymore.

In the end, the crusader decided to fly up and join the fight. Wisana and Lucius had foreseen this. Wisana intentionally leaned back and let Shin dash at Lucius. Of course, Lucius defended himself with the magic sword!

“This saves me time.”

Lucius smiled. When Shin approached him and their weapons collided, they glowed so brightly, and the resistance was so intense their hands shook. Wisana did not hesitate to call up the flame katana with the Element and dash in to help Shin.

However, having more people did not help them at all. Lucius did not show any emotion on his face. He even seemed comfortable as if he was fighting with babies!

“Damn it! What kind of a beast is he?!” Wisana shouted.

Shin could not speak. It seemed like their moves had already been foreseen by the enemy!

Eventually, Wisana was hit first. The longer the fight, the more exhausted the boys became since they had been through so much in a day, unlike Lucius who was always laid back. He was about to switch the role from the defensive to the attacking one soon.

“D... Damn it. Vincent!”

Shin knew that something bad was about to happen, so he gave Wisana a signal to push the teamwork up to another level.

They sped up and dashed at Lucius like a jet. They took turns attacking the target continuously.

“Oh, the teamwork looks good.”

Lucius grinned. No matter how many times he was attacked, he did not flinch. Now, the duo of the Nemesis was so fast that no one could follow. Wisana was about to land a huge blow.

The red-haired man slashed the sword at the dragon boy. Wisana’s body was cut into two. Lucius raised his eyebrow.

“A decoy? Darkness?!”

Wisana’s body disintegrated before him.

A trick?!

His brain calculated that he had already fallen into the duo’s trap.

As expected, he saw Shindanai pointing the Longinus at him. The spear was glowing as if it was ready to smash at any time!

“Let’s see if you can dodge this, Lucius!!”

The King’s Ring shone brightly, and Shin’s strongest move was used. The Longinus was thrown out with all his might. The speed was more than anyone could imagine. However, Lucius was still calm. He looked at Shin nonchalantly.

Then, Lucius shot the beam out to counter!

The red beam and Shin’s final blow slammed at each other. The second they hit, the Longinus was thrown off and disappeared. The red beam dashed at Shin, and he did not have the chance to dodge or defend!

Wisana could only call his name. A second later, his friend was dragged down to the ground with massive damage and a huge explosion!

The pressure was so intense that Wisana had to cover his face. Smoke was everywhere and was blown away as fast. He turned to his friend to check how he was and saw Shin lying there on the ground. His injury was so fatal he could not fight anymore!

“You’re so tough, kid. It can’t be helped. Let me relieve you from the pain.”

Lucius shrugged and dashed at Shin. Wisana was startled.

“I won’t let you do that!”

He did not hesitate to follow Lucius to help his friend. Lucius clicked his tongue with annoyance and leaned back to throw a big energy ball at Wisana.

“You’re so annoying, Vincent. I’ll come to you after this, so can you please move away?”

Then, the energy ball split into beams and rushed at Wisana. The boy put on a brake and dodged them.

“Damn you, son of a bitch!”

He could only say that because he knew that it would be very bad if he got hit. Wisana evaded the beams like a madman. He tried to find an alternative way as soon as possible, but he was given too little time. Lucius was approaching Shin.

“Shin! Don’t just lie there!” Wisana shouted. “Do you want to die? Move! Why are you always such a baby for me to look after, damn it!!”

“Bark all you want, Vincent, nobody’s going to help him!”

Lucius laughed. There was no stopping him anymore. He raised his hand up above his head and was about to call up a big energy ball to finish the crusader off. However, the lavender eyes did not close. He even had a smile on his face.

“...A... Are you sure about that?”

“What!”

Suddenly, hundreds of white magic swords surrounded Lucius and he had to halt. The role was switched again so fast that the beast got goosebumps. The swords dashed at him!

“Direction Ray? How annoying!”

Lucius could only swear and evade the attacks.

He was moving around like a madman. The more he dodged, the more swords appeared. Eventually, he decided to fly the other way. The swords followed him!

Bloody Rain

Lucius shot out another energy ball. It split into beams with the amount equal to the magic swords. They slammed at each other and exploded.

Lucius turned to Shindanai again. That was how he realized that a girl was there with him. Her green eyes stared at him, and her lips smirked.

“Tsk... Natalia’s daughter? What a nuisance!”

He yelled and dashed at his enemy again. The guy on the floor gritted his teeth so tightly.

“Waree, get away from here. You can’t take this!” Shin shouted.

“No! I’ll protect you!”

The girl with brown hair was firm. She raised her hand and called up hundreds more of her magic swords. They appeared in mid-air, ready to dash at the enemy.

“The same move won’t do, kid!”

Lucius shouted and flicked his hand.

Bloody Rain

Again, he destroyed all of Waree’s magic swords. Lucius was so fast that Waree could only open her eyes widely. She raised her hand and cast a defensive spell like a cornered rat.

“A dangerous one like you comes to me without wasting my time. This is good! You’re over, kid!”

In only the blink of an eye, Lucius was able to call up a huge energy ball and hit both of them against the ground. The damage was so massive that it was certain that they should have been dead.

The ground turned into an enormous hole. Lucius slowly stood up as the smoke disintegrated. The red eyes turned to where his enemies should be. However...

There was no one there...

“...What?”

Lucius was speechless. He turned around to look for them when he saw not just Shin and Waree, but also the secretary of the Nemesis there.

She was holding an Illusion in her hand.

He looked at Shindanai. That was how he learned that the crusader was still lying in the same place. They did not evade the attack, but it was Lucius who missed. To make it simple, Lucius was tricked into believing that the prey were there...

“That Maysa kid...” Lucius gritted his teeth.

The gunner panted heavily.

“My Illusion magic works.” She smiled at Lucius.

Lucius clicked his tongue. He wanted to kill them all in a single blow, but it was impossible. A figure was behind him without him even realizing it.

“It’s over, Lucius.”

Wisana said with a low voice. Before Lucius could turn around, where he stood glowed so brightly by the high-level territorial spell.
