Chapter 690: Viola (2) Part III

“That’s enough. If you think this can do anything to me, you’re wrong, Scarlet! You can’t do shit!” Viola shouted after getting rid of the second golem.

“Are you sure, traitor?”

Then, a sweet voice was heard. The amber eyes turned to the source as if she knew full well that the enemy had already been among the beasts. She pointed her weapon at the enemy!

She did not hesitate to slash her sword at the woman. The massive damage appeared with splattered blood. The blonde-haired girl choked on her blood. The claymore got her from the shoulder to the chest. The beasts she summoned were all gone.

However, the severe injury did not kill her instantly. There was a smile on her pale face that Viola had to raise her eyebrow.

“I... I caught you, traitorous bitch.” Scarlet said softly.

“What?”

“Lucius!!”

Scarlet screamed so loudly that Viola opened her mouth widely. Her amber eyes turned to Lucius, wondering what these two were about to do. When she saw that there was an information monitoring screen next to Lucius, she was so shocked it almost caught her off guard. She was about to let go of the sword that was plunged into Scarlet, but it was too late. The woman grabbed her so tightly like an elastic band!

“Good work, Scarlet.” Lucius grinned. “Take care of it, Alice.”

“Shit! Let go of me!”

Viola screeched and called up so many swords, hoping to cut Scarlet’s arm off. However, it was too late. The woman started to glow, and red beams dashed out of Scarlet’s body. They tightened around Viola and forced her to drop to her knees for the first time.

“T... This... Master Seal..” Viola gritted her teeth. “Damn it. He’s using this girl’s body as a medium to seal a banned spell? You son of a bitch!!”

She could only cry so loudly before she was forced by the high-level spell to lie down on the ground. Scarlet was standing above her. She could not move anymore, yet her blue eyes still fixed on Viola with disgust.

“I finally caught you, traitor.” She screeched with her hoarse voice after losing so much to the injury and the seal.

“You wretched...” Viola gritted her teeth.

“You didn’t have to be so sour.”

Lucius smiled.

“Shouldn’t you be smiling that we finally meet again? We grew up together anyway.”

“Lucius, you son of a bitch! Has this been your plan all along? Damn you!!”

Viola shouted angrily. She struggled so much to get rid of the confinement, but the more she did that, the tighter it got. She got bruises all over.

“It can’t be helped. This is the only way to deal with a stubborn one like you.” He shrugged. “It’s true that your brain’s fried, but you’re still as dangerous. Others would have been tricked by your so-called weakness and killed. I know how dangerous you are full well, right, my beloved friend?”

“Shut up! You’re not my friend!”

The scream got the man scratching his face.

“Whatever you say.” He smiled. “But now, please be quiet and...”

This time it was Lucius’s brain. He quickly turned back and saw a black-haired man with amethyst eyes dashing towards him with the Longinus!

“Tsk! You don’t know when to stop.”

Lucius complained and formed a magic sword in his hand. Shin swung his spear at the man, and he crushed it off with his sword so easily. Then, Shin decided to approach him again. Lucius foresaw that and was preparing for it. His hand glowed so brightly and was about to shoot the explosive spell at Shin in close range.

However, Shin foresaw that, too. He suddenly dodged back. Lucius raised his eyebrow.

At that moment, Lucius gritted his teeth because a destructive bullet was shot at him from the other side. He had to turn defensive. The hand crushed the bullet off to the other side. It exploded terrifyingly.

The red eyes turned the other way and saw that the number one gunner in Pride was aiming her Illusion at him. Lucius shook his hand that he used to brush the bullets off.

The shots were not normal. He almost lost his hand!

“Tsk. He can still dodge it.” Valentine complained.

“That was close.” Shin sighed.

The siblings walked up to each other and were in a ready position again. Viola pressed her lips.

“Don’t, both of you. You can’t fight him!” She shouted. “Shin, I told you to save your strength. Run or you die!”

Shin said and let out a long sigh before he looked up at the sky.

“I think it’s about time for me to fight because that guy’s here.”

Suddenly, a white beam dashed down from the sky. It was aimed at Lucius. The red eyes opened wide. His brain calculated so fast how he should deal with this energy ball. Should he brush it off like what he did with Valentine’s bullets? No! He would lose his hand like that. Or should he cast a defensive spell? No, the spell would not withstand it. It’s best to counterattack!

In a split second, he raised his hand and shot the energy bullet out!

The red and white beams slammed at each other in mid-air. No one seemed to be giving up. The red beam was about to lose when Lucius shot another one to help. They combined and created a huge explosion!

Even Lucius had to narrow his eyes.

Shin grinned.

Then, someone landed beside the crusader. The tall figure with a torn shirt. There were no wounds on his body. His hair was as white as snow in the dead of night. His eyes were as red as angry flames. His pupils looked like those of a beast.

“You’re late...” Shin said. “Vincent.”

Valentine smiled.

“Mr. Vincent!”

The new guy smiled slightly at the siblings and turned to stare at Lucius.

“It was painful what you did to me, Lucius. Do you know that only cowards attack others from behind?” Wisana smiled. “Just you wait. I’ll pay you back tenfold.”

“...”

Lucius could not speak. He saw that the boy was completely healed, and he was back to his powerful self. Was it...

“Huh. I see, Natalia’s daughter. As expected of Alice’s blood. She must have used the Syncro to help you, right?”

He laughed.

“...Na.”

Viola murmured her son’s name.

“Wait for me, auntie. I’ll get you out of there.”

Wisana smiled at her. Viola smiled back, even though very awkwardly.

“Auntie?” Lucius raised his eyebrow and turned to Viola. “He called you aunt?”

She turned away from him. Lucius laughed out loud. Wisana and Shin looked each other in the eye, confused.

“I see how it is. This is fun, Viola!” He shouted. “You hide even this truth from him? But I guess anyone would be pissed if they know.”

He laughed like a madman. Viola could only grit her teeth.

“Now that everyone’s here.” Lucius beamed. It was such a creepy smile that Wisana and the others felt goosebumps. “Let us begin the last bloodbath of Pride.”

“Be careful, kid, he’s going all out!”

As soon as Lucius finished his sentence, Viola warned the kids.

In that split second, Lucius disappeared from everyone’s sight and reappeared behind Wisana.

“Shin!”
